We are regular users of this lounge & were v disappointed. Gentleman who checked us in was unfriendly & not welcoming...he later reluctantly, it seemed served my husband a glass of red wine, didn't even tell him their were wine choices. Tables were not readily cleared/cleaned. We had to ask for items to be replenished e.g. nuts. Staff seemed more concerned about discussing their hours & entitlements to ho hone early than giving a decent service. It was not busy in there, the bar was unmanned while it seemed that someone was in the 'back' on a private phone call! Ladies toilets were a disgrace. Coffee machine's products not v nice...better to use hot water & a sachet of instant decaff than than the coffee dispensed from machine. Staff went out & brought back coffee for themselves while we were in there from Prets!! This all needs improving.

My friend and I arrived at the Lounge Saturday afternoon, a couple of hours before our flight was due to leave. The lounge was comfortable, and the flight information display was welcome. These are the issues I found: * There was no variety of hot food: 2 tired looking pasta dishes, with crusted hard pasta. The chicken pasta dish had no discernable chicken.II asked a staff member was that the choice for today and I was told it was, no effort was made to see could I be accommodated. * A scarcity, not an abundance of food presentation. * No sandwiches, some small amount of cold ham, chopped cheddar cheese and sliced brie, some small bowls of couscous and mixed vegetables. A paucity of choice. * Small squares of chocolate fudge cake as the sweet offering. No choice. * Fruit scones, looked dried and unappetising. * A staff member brought away the bowl of "chicken"pasta and I saw her add fresh pasta to it and mix it up. This is after the pasta had been sitting out under the lights for one and a half hours. A complete no-no for HACCP. I was not happy with the food presentation or quality at the lounge, especialy when compared to what I had been led to expect. I have not been on a holiday for a long time, and I felt that to spend time at this lounge, dining on good food and enjoying a drink with my meal, would be a lovely celebration to start my short holiday. I had the leek and potato soup, it was lovely. There was one penny loaf which I shared with my companion, and when I asked was there more bread, the staff put out some for me. However, after and hour and a half, a staff member stirred the soup in the soup tureen, she did not remove it as ought to have been done as it had reached its end of life at that stage. I work in the food tourism industry, I run a tea room, and I was disappointed with my experience at the Cork Aspire Lounge. I expected a wider variety of hot and cold food as per website information. I conveyed this information to your customer relations office. Whatever about my experience at the lounge, the reply I received was so customer unfriendly, that it left me in no doubt as to why my experience at the lounge was so poor.

Opening hours stated 4:30am. Doors were not opened until 4:40, being tired and cranky this wasn’t a pleasant first experience of the lounge. Once we were let in the staff were polite and helpful. The food wasn’t anything to write home about but the experience was better than the hustle and bustle of the airport. Plenty of seating although it was very worn and tired looking. Not sure if we’d book again but at least we can say we have had the experience of the lounge in Luton airport.

Dear Penny, Thank you for your feedback about our lounge at Luton. We are disappointed to hear of your feedback and I will pass these comments on to the lounge manager at Luton to be able to improve our service. We always receive great feedback about Luton and how the team are always offering an excellent service, Our breakfast is always talked about and also have great reviews. We hope that you give our lounge at Luton or across the UK the second chance it deserves to show our standards we set out to deliver. Kind regards The Aspire Team

Having used the executive lounge previously I looked forward to my visit however on this occasion I felt very uncomfortable. We had only 40 mins available to us and therefore ordered our drinks with quick succession to benefit our visit, the bar staff made it very obvious they were watching and talking about us, walking past us and checking the flight board, even the desk staff member came round and had a stare at us, we were not noisy or inebriated and only ordered our allocated amount of drinks. The saving grace of the visit was that the chef made me an omelette as I do not eat bacon which was the only hot item available. I will not be recommending the lounge to friends in future, the visit really put a dampener on the start of my holiday.

Grilled bacon completely overcooked upon our arrival also scrambled egg likewise, this was later rectified after quite a long while. The sausages have a very unpleasant taste and there was a time in this lounge when cheese portions were available all day however no more! It is also necessary to use bell system quite often and I feel uncomfortable doing this on a regular basis ! On a more positive note, the lounge is comfortable, good viewing range for television and flight departures and excellent choice of reading material plus efficient air conditioning and the service is friendly too! Perhaps a bottle of red/white wine could be made available for self-service on counter and monitored at intervals to eliminate long waits for same ?

Hi Unfortunately I was disappointed on this trip to executive lounge. On arrival police/security were advising a couple to leave. Also a couple of females were arguing at the desk, resulting in a que out the door. However I could not help but over hear (shouting and raised voices) the issues going on in front of me and it was unfair.... both parties, despite pre booking and paying for lounge entry were being turned away as TUI premier customers were arriving later than anticipated.... I also over herd staff talking among themselves say “offer them a bacon sandwich and get them out”. When I finally reached the desk(35 minute wait) I was also told that despite paying in advance online I could not enter as TUI premier had priority. I was also on the TUI flight to Thailand and due to a system security problem had waited a long time to check in (1hr 30m) I explained this to a young man on desk who went away then came back to allow me entry..... I have traveled all over the word and visited many airport lounges abroad and in the uk and have never, thankfully been treat like a lower class citizen. I feel bad for those refused entry and understand their frustration, not a way to start a holiday. Very disappointed.

Staff are so rude, completely ruined our experience. Only one member of staff who actually smiled and didn’t treat us like an inconvenience. Food choice was absolute bare minimum. Wouldn’t book this lounge in Manchester Terminal 1 again!

Not worth the extra money for an aspire plus package as the food and the drinks available were not better than the standard aspire on previous visits to Bristol.

Booked it online and put my times in. When we got there it was full had to wait them allowed in to find we had to wait for a table as it was still full. By this time people were being turned away . Not as good as the other airport lounges we have used in Manchester airport

We came at breakfast time- not impressed with the selection for the money. We went back into the airport and bought a cooked breakfast. We also had an international flight and so couldn’t even stay long as we had to go through pre-clearance. I wouldn’t bother with this in the future.

I wasn't particularly impressed to be honest. I thought the food choices were poor. I expected something a little better than mac and cheese and the pulled pork wasn't really tasty at all. There was a small salad bar and crackers/cheese and some generic cake and scones. I didn't feel it was good value and will not be using again.

Sorry, but my opinion is, Executive Lounge is only value for money if you drink and then there was only three kind of sprints available. I thought the food was poor and not much variety. Lack of newspapers. Dingy and needs up dating. Look at B.A. / Emirates lounges for ideas. Birmingham, being the second city of UK, very poor lounges.

Very poor in comparison to Edinburgh which we used in the summer: On arrival welcome was lukewarm. Once inside, staff friendly enough but not exactly on the ball for clearing tables. Decor is very much in need of a revamp. Very limited number of newspapers available ( during our visit only one) and absolutely no magazines available although you advertise this.

Staff were unwelcoming and made me feel unable to relax . They were all over other staff members and regular's ( men ). The biscuits were in a jar with no lid so very soft . Had to ask for a bread roll to eat with like warm soup. There was no cheese no crisps . There was no choice in hot food . Chilli is not everyone's idea of a hot meal be for a flight . Also no chock for children even though I was charged £17.00 for a 4 year old . All in all a good experience or value for money . 😣
