Second Visit to the Aspire Lounge Cork. First Visit was great. This Visit not so good. I arrived at approx 08:30am. The breakfast looked like it had been there since 05:00am, Sausages were cold and hard, and the most worrying thing was, the baps that they had on display were green with mould ( They must have been days old ). Would be a good idea to introduce a toaster. €25 for mouldy baps and awful hot breakfast!!! Would I go again, probably not. For €25 at 08:30am I can get a much better breakfast 10 feet away in the bar

Short staffed. T cakes stale, salad bowl nearly empty unless you wanted lettuce, no crisps, no bitter or cider and the only meat was smoked ham.

As a frequent flyer with Emirates for my work, I've done a lot of Business/First class lounge. This one was disappointing, before booking it, I knew it will not be like the one I did before, but once inside, they are very little choice of food, only a small arena in the lounge.

Lounge was over subscribed and very busy. Food on offer was abysmal. A bowl of white rice and some mac and cheese were the offerings of hot food. It took an hour in the lounge for them to then bring out a tray of vegetable curry to accompany the rice. Very poor! Worst lounge I’ve been in.

Have stayed in this lounge previously so decided to book again after that experience as staff were attentive and there was comfy seating. We will not book this lounge again unless all others where unavailable. Comfy seating has now been reserved for Singapore airlines customers, hence we sat at tables like in a cafe on not very relaxing chairs. The choice of food was ok but didn’t look that great for breakfast and the staff had to be looked for to serve drinks from the bar by every customer in the room. Tables where cleared quickly but most of the time staff spent chatting to each other at the reception desk.

The irony of being offered a free bottle of champagne in return for my review is explained below. This review would have been lower had it not been for the waiter, Melo. His ‘can-do’ attitude and his spirit in adversity was to be admired. I had pre-ordered a bottle of champagne which wasn’t available on arrival. Melo did try and tempt us with quantity (2 bottles of Prosecco) but we wanted the quality. So 9 days ago I requested a refund and I still haven’t had a response or even acknowledgement of my request. The place was jam-packed and, despite Melo’s attempts, it didn’t still quite feel like the special start we were hoping for. A lack of ice, small glasses and short of food options all means I expect, with the choice of lounges on offer, I’ll be trying a different one next time.

Staff friendly and helpful and lounge very clean. The quality and selection of food was quite poor at lunchtime only a pasta dish or vegetable curry. Selection of drinks - hot, cold and alcoholic was great. The views are good.

This is the second time we have used Aspire Lounges the first was in Terminal 2 and this time 19th October in 5. 1. The staff generally unwecloming. 2.. We were supposed to be booked for 12pm and they had us booked for 9am. 3. We were messed around for at least 15 minutes.we had the letter from for company and it just was all wrong. 4. You ask for a reveiw andwhen you try to access it it gives you all the lounges every where. 5. It was not easy to find a space. Not a pleasent experieince.

Limited food, absolutely packed and the reception was still taking payment for more people to enter. Plenty of drink but with poor staff customer care. Not worth the money! Go to Pret a Manager instead.

Staff not very friendly no cutlery I was stood at bar waiting to be served staff just walked by ignoring me until I asked for some service. A member of staff really off with one of my friends not much choice in food. Tables and floors dirty covered in food. We will not be using executive lounges again nicer in public bars.

Was very disappointed that I wasn’t able to take advantage of the complimentary alcohol. I am unable to drink diet or no sugar mixers as allergic to sacerin. I really feel all options should be available. I have never had an issue when visiting No1 lounge or aspire Lounge in stansted.

This is definitely not worth the £70 paid for it. The breakfast and drink choices were poor and one staff member in particular was very rude and unprofessional. She was filling up machines etc and moaning about how people left mugs and when asked questions by clients was blunt and not helpful. She also argued with colleagues while out on the service floor - not what I would expect from an executive service lounge. Will not be using again. The only positive I can offer is that the lady who manned reception was lovely.

Hot food was overcooked and bland. Stale scones & bread rolls. Tables and food area had dirty plates/cups/glasses with rubbish and food waste left in piles waiting to be cleared away. Cold food area was mixed in with each other. Appeared to be not enough staff.

For 26.99 per person I would expect better. From the start of booking it was difficult as I was booking for 7 people. Had a Groupon voucher for money off but they said it would not work! Then I was told someone would contact me... Someone did 3 days later after i emailed to complain but then it was still difficult as the online chat kept freezing and cutting off (3 times). Eventually i was booked up....We went around breakfast time, sausages were nice but most of the food had ran out, coffee was ok. Pastries were bland but there was a choice of cereal too. Drinks wise... very limited choice! No cider and no flavoured gin :( They did have the normal vodka rum larger wine etc... so more choice is definitely needed. Toilets were dirty and not up to scratch. Bar staff were nice however it took approx an hour before anyone cleared our table... 7 adults plates, glasses and cups! Many staff walked past and did not come to clean it so we ended up moving the items to another unused table near us. Would not book again

Very crowded at the time we visited - uncomfortably so. We had booked online and the receptionist found us wandering around and looking for a seat and took us to a reserved area.. Staff at the bar were busy, food uninspiring.
