Bristol Aspire Lounge Lots of dirty plates and glasses on tables on arrival. An area of seats not in use as apparently ' reserved', no sign of anybody having reserved them. Quiet/ambiance spoilt by 3 under 5 year old one a crying baby. Staff really quite bored and not friendly or welcoming. Hot food looked most unappealing, a curry just looked like rice with some churro paste stirred through it. If large tray had as much as one chicken breast in it I would be surprised. All in all a disappointing visit

The lounge was over crowded. Seating was not comfortable and the whole lounge was cramped and dull. Food was okay but only one barman resulted in unnecessary delays. With the benefit of hindsight I would have used one of the public bars/restaurants to enjoy a drink, some quality food and wait for my flight.

In comparison to other Lounges, I found it quite cramped and congested. The food selection was also very limited compared to another lounge visited previously around the same time of day. I was quite disappointed!

Queue out of the door. Don’t expect to pay, then queue for 20 minutes Food very poor quality and range Toilets absolutely disgusting and obviously not cleaned with no disinfectant or bleach - very strong smell of urine. This is a problem throughout the airport.

Our first time using the the lounge and can honestly say we were very disappointed with it, I’ve heard great reports but to us it was nothing special

We were disappointed that even after booking the lounge in advance so many tables had signs saying reserved. Some from 10am until 3pm. A total of five hours, and yet during our three hours in the lounge nobody used them. Also food was running short and there was also an issue with cutlery being replaced.

Food wasn’t very good for what we would have expected and the wasn’t really much choice of drinks.

The general feel of the lounge was very tired. Quite a bit of the fabric seating was stained. The food options were terrible with very little choice on the hot and cold buffet. There were no English papers available. We have previously used the Escape lounge on a couple of occasions and decided to ‘upgrade’ and try the Aspire. We found the Escape lounge offered better food options with regard to both hot and cold offerings. I apologise for being so negative but these is our honest review of the lounges when compared to each other. Kind regards Mr L Jeavons

The room is a nice room to relax in. The service was shockingly slow. Minimal snacks were put out. The hot food consisted of soup, curry or pasta but the chance of finding any was remote as only small amounts were put out and you might find there was curry but the rice had run out. Those that were lucky to get something to eat said the food was bland and don’t think it was greedy people piling plates high, they only put out little saucers. One sliced cake was brought out of the kitchen every so often but with a full room, again it was gone in seconds. Many people were complaining as if they did find a small amount of food, there was no cutlery to eat it with. The staff replied they were short staffed. There was only one person on the bar and it was afull room. No sandwiches but there was a small deli area but again often no cheese or meat, just a few lettuce leaves. We travel several times a year and always use a lounge, this was my 4th visit in this particular and I was very disappointed. Some friends used the other lounge and said it was lovely. I booked the wrong lounge!

I booked the lounge as a pre-flight surprise for my boyfriend. The idea was to have a leisurely breakfast and a few drinks while reading the papers. I was disappointed. The range of food was limited - just a few breakfast items in bread, and cereals, there weren’t any newspapers and fizz was extra. I’ve only been to one lounge before - at Gatwick. It was the same price a different experience and in another league. Cava was included and the breakfast included pastries, cakes, cooked breakfast and healthier choices. This wasn’t worth £25 - at a push I’d say £10 as all I had was one beer and scrambled egg.

Greeting rather poor as we managed to find out that computers and tills were all running slow, before we were even acknowledged, task before customer comes to mind. Once I introduced myself I was then greeted with, ' oh, your the party of 9.' The tone was as if were a hindrance, they do day first impressions count. The food was ok but not filled up anywhere near quick enough for the amount of customers in that day. It would have been 1 star had it not been for the young gentleman at the bar saving the day with a pleasant and curteous manner.

Too busy, insufficient room to sit. Staff had not got time to be polite as too busy. Thought it would feel more special than it was. Next time will book no 1 lounge.

Our first stay in the Aspire lounge South. Not impressed at all. Food limited and dried up. Compared to the No 1 lounge our experience here was poor. Although staff friendly the buffet was not kept stocked with fresh food which was disappointing. Will not book this lounge again.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give you feedback on my first experience of your Executive Lounge. I have to say I was very disappointed. I booked the lounge as a treat for my fiancee on our way to a special weekend break to Berlin. When we got there we were faced with a queue of people. We were waiting for about 10 mins and we were exposed by two separated heated discussions where visitors with a card were demanding to be able to enter the lounge even though it was full to capacity which was indicated by a sign of the reception desk. The receptionist was very stressed and him and his supervisor were subjected to heated claims that these people should still be allowed in as there were still seats available. Eventually they were allowed in even though clearly this was going to cause more strain on the staff on clearly a already busy lounge. As we had booked obviously we were allowed in, but when we tried to find a seat, there were only a couple of seats left where we could sit together. The table we sat on was full of rubbish and after a while when clearly no one was around to clean the tables, and moved the rubbish myself. We then had to wait another 20 mins before there was anything available to eat. It was lucky I did take a book, as there was no sign of any newspapers to read. I would also note which was a bit strange that when I went to the rest room it clearly has not be checked for quite awhile, and when checking the times on the cleaning sheet it appeared to have been signed up to 2pm when it was only around 12 when I went in. Over all what I thought was going to be a extra specially treat that I could give someone who has had a very tough time this last year was to say at least disappointing. Would I use you again ? based on this experience I would fortunately say no.
