Our recent visit to the Aspire Lounge was very disappointing. The lounge did not open on time and booking in was time consuming. Due to lack of staff the two staff members on duty had to man the desk to book people in which left the bar unmanned and customers unable to get drinks. Having used the lounge previously I did not feel this was the usual positive experience or a good way to start my holiday

Poor service and poor selection of snacks. Disappointing.

We were part of a group that had all booked separate but I was totally unaware that we had to put this through as an unauthorized group. Some of the company were asked to remove their T-shirt. They would not allow eight of us to sit together. As this was my first experience in one of the lounges I really was not impressed.

The food was nothing spectacular not much choice and the scones were on show when I entered but not replenished when I went to get one

Staff were rude and not in the slightest bit happy to help! That was my first and will be the last time I book into the lounge

We arrived at 4am on the 20/09/2018 and there was only dry over cooked bacon and scrambled egg served as warm food. The rest came out at 4:45 when we were almost due to leave. There was a large rowdy group of people on there way to Ibiza making a lot of noise. The lounge was also very cold

Very poor choice of hot & cold food, not replenished quickly enough. The hot food choices were rice or pasta, both starch & unsuitable for a diabetic. That aside, the food was dried up & stuck round the edges of the container & should have been replenished earlier. The cold options could have been acceptable but again, what little salad there was, had a high starch & sugar content. The only protein was cheese. Very disappointed as this is the second time we've found the same lack of food choices.

Not worth the price. The receptionist was very unfriendly and not helpful. Staff there made us feel like they were doing us a favour. Food not great - should have went next door to KLM.

There is nothing 'Executive' about this Lounge. The seating leaves a lot to be desired and there is not enough space to relax. The food is abysmal, not nearly enough newspapers (we were there mid afternoon). Altogether a very expensive, forgettable experience this time. We have used the executive Lounge on several occasions, but this visit and the previous visit have ensured that it will be a very long time,if ever, that we will be persuaded to return.

This was our second visit to the aspire lounge ( a complimentary visit after a very poor first experience ). Whilst there was some slight improvement, the food offerings were poor and not regularly replenished. I would not use this lounge again. I recently used the Escape lounge at East Midlands Airport. The contrast was vast. With the escape lounge having a bar service and far superior quality food.

Stayed in two lounges - Luton and Edinburgh on two consecutive days. Same food at both locations. Food was almost at an end but not replaced. Luton - tables remained uncleared for some considerable time. Edinburgh - had to leave the lounge to use the public toilets and then walk back around to main entrance. I expected more than this for this money.

We were told we could use the lounge for 3 hours. We could not check in till less than two hours pre flight. Then there was a huge queue at security. 75 minutes left. Then greeted with a queue at the lounge and sign that said full to capacity. Ended up with less than an hour in the lounge. Had to queue for a drink. Food was a bit sparse. Ciciken curry was a bowl of cold rice. Mac Cheese also cold. Ended up with a slice of ham and a couple of cubes of cheese, a scone and jam, and a glass of wine in crowded surroundings for £20+ . Very disappointing. A 50% refund would not be unreasonable, for both me and my wife. Or free entry next time we travel. PLEASE RESPOND to this mail - Roysmithhome@blueyonder.co.uk Thank you.

The lounge was badly in need of a make over. There was a very limited choice of food. It was extremely overcrowded which was difficult for us as we were travelling with a disabled child Finally we were treated by the lady telling us we had to be out by 14.30. Not very welcoming

I have used this lounge on numerous occasions. However, on 15/9/18 the Aspire lounge at Manchester Airports Terminal 1 was massively over-subscribed and we had to stand for a while waiting for chairs to be vacated. There were queues of 15-20 minutes at the bar and food was also slow to arrive.

I was disappointed with the Aspire lounge at bhx this time. There were no clean glasses readily available. The chicken curry was also empty and I had to ask for it to be topped up which it was after about a 20min wait! I asked a staff member about the delay and was informed that you only have one microwave. When the curry was finally served it was barely warm...a total disappointment.

From the moment we arrived we where greeted by ÜBER friendly staff! Smiles throughout, I cannot praise them enough! However, the room itself, we struggled to actually get a seat and had to walk about for over 20 minutes until someone left! Then we struggled to get a plug to charge our phones so I had to leave and charge in the main airport for half an hour as our boarding passes where on my mobile! Good selection of drinks, poor food and too crowded!

Bell didn’t work so stood waiting for ages as staff gossiping in the back to be admitted (about 15mins) Breakfast range was pathetic- a few rather miserable looking half bacon rolls. There was cheese but no crackers to go with the cheese. Why not just do s continental breakfast with meats? Staff slow to clear the tables and it wasn’t particularly busy. I thought it was really rather pathetic all in all.

Poor food choice, two options had run out and were not replenished for a long time. Not enough staff to serve at the bar and queues of 7 or 8 built up frequently. Normally use the Escape lounge and would certainly do so in preference following this experience.
