We were in the lounge early in the morning so our comments reflect this; 1) The temperature in the lounge was like a fridge if you go there take a jacket 2) If you are there for a real breakfast the plates are too small for you to have one 3) The layout of food is crowded and not logical

We recently visited Bristol airport and used the executive lounge, the main reason for breakfast but to find there was very little left and it was being cleared at 10.30am to be prepared for lunch. What was left was very dry. This was very disappointing as this was the reason for us booking.

On arrival at the desk, there was in fact no one to great us, or book us in, the foot wasn't even prepared yet and when the bacon rolls eventually did arrive they where cold, at that time in the morning I would have expected everything to have already been prepped and ready, also the seats and tables where somewhat grubby, not what I would expect at anytime of the day never mind at the time of opening, I certainly would not pay the money to use this lounge again.

My husband and I used the lounge between 5.30-6.30am on 31/08/18. We were disappointed to discover at this time in the morning they had run out of rolls for the bacon. We were also disappointed in the quality of the orange juice which we expected to be not from concentrate.

No food apart from a chicken curry and pasta waste of money

The room has hot, very uncomfortable. Not enough outlets for electronic devices. The food was ok, but selection/variety of food was inadequate. Water was not cold, not enough ice. Restrooms were clean and ok. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Travelling to Paphos with my partner on 7th September and used the lounge at midday . Although the place had had a refit and some areas seemed fine the service was slow and also the choice of food especially the hot area consisted of Macaroni Cheese which was the only option during the time we were there. My partner was disappointed as he said it tasted like tinned macaroni!!!!Good job I liked cheese and crackers as that was the only other selection with a bit of pasta salad. Sweet available on the bar area but not covered or chilled from what we could see. It certainly doesn’t feel like an EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE. Probably would not choose to use again unless it was a free gift.

The lounge was quiet and ample choice of drinks but we thought their was a very poor selection of food.

I found the lounge far too busy and noisy, the refreshments were fairly basic. I in fact left after 20 minutes and went and found a much quieter spot where I was able to wait the 90 minutes for my onward flight. A disappointment :-(

The lounge area and setting are great but the staff (except the lady on the bar) were moody and unhelpful. We asked one person for plates (as there were none), she didn’t get us any but continued to restock the salad bar (now in front of a large queue waiting for plates) until we had to ask another member if staff. Not enough staff on the bar either

Bought Executive lounge plus or Newcastle Airport. Extremely disappointed with the whole experience. Quality of food available poor, (what was left) Uncleared tables which had not been cleared whilst we in there Not worth the money being charged for this service, would have been better off in the main airport. Will not be using this Aspire again...

Very disappointing. Hot food consisted of macroni cheese or chicken flavoured rice. One type of cake. No cream teas. No deserts. Hunted for crisps only to find out I had to ask for a packet at the bar. There were just 2 packets left. No selection of biscuits or breads. Self service coffee from a machine. Not even a newspaper other than The Times let alone any popular magazines. Waste of money!

My wife and I have used the executive lounges at both Manchester & Leeds Bradford airports, Newcastle does not compare favorably to either of these. On arrival our names were not on the list , lucky for us I had the confirmation e-mail on my mobile phone. The food on offer was of poor quality and the hot food area needed cleaning more regularly, limited selection of Cheese & biscuits and salad desert was limited to one type of cake which was replenished in frequently It would appear that the lounge is now catering for those specifically taking advantage of the free alcohol We are unlikely to use this lounge again Regards Graham Cooke

The one member of staff on duty when we arrived was excellent but the state of the aspire plus lounge was disgusting and I had to clean a table myself to get somewhere to sit. There was little food available and overall not worth the extra money to use the facilities in the aspire plus loung. It is unlikely I would recommend this lounge to anyone
