Food was very poor. I only managed to find 1 bit of chicken in the chicken pesto pasta. Soup wasn’t very tasty and also scones ran out and took a while to be replenished. Only 1 table available when we got there which was very dirty on the floor surrounding it. Also preferred it when the bar was self service instead of queuing up for a drink. Would need a big improvement for me to go back there.

A very narrow room that was overcrowded. It was not possible to find two seats together. Because it was overcrowded the staff were unable to adequately replenish items. Poor value for money.

We go away a lot and use the different lounges, the staff in this one seemed unhappy to be there and the lounge did not cater for celiacs whatsoever I had rice and cheese. Was not worth the £75 we paid at all.

The Aspire Lounge at Gatwick North was a real disappointment. It was largely empty when we arrived near midday on the Tuesday just after the August Bank Holiday, which tells its own story. We did not receive a particularly friendly welcome from staff; indeed, there was no-one on the desk when we arrived. It has obviously been a while since the lounge had any sort of refurbishment and it looks shabby, drab and uninviting compared to others. The chairs and surfaces were dirty in places (with crumbs and marks from glasses). The range of food and drinks available was limited, and the food rather dried up and unappetising. There were few labels for the food either which meant that if you did need to know whether something was (e.g.) vegetarian or not it would have been difficult to tell. The main bonus was that it was very quiet because there were so few customers! However, this would not be sufficient for us to want to use this lounge again. Very disappointing.

My wife was very disappointed that there was No vegetarian option for hot food, couldn't eat ends of sausages as were to hard. Not the cleanest of venues and not the best start to our holidays and won't be using again and won't recommended

The worst experience of a lounge. If you can follow cctv footage then please do so to better understand this. You accept more people in than you can seat. The receptionist acts like a security guard, not a service greeter. No welcome. I emailed upfront about showers and was told that it’s £20 on the day. The receptionist aka security guard said the spa is closed permentanely. No explanation or alternative.

Lounge was ok. We chose a booth with a table & TV. The TV didn't work. Coffee machine was broken as was the other one for part of our visit. OK selection of cold food but the hot choices were dire. Other people in the lounge had bought their own food in with them for their kids. Not worth the money we paid for it. The worst bit was the toilets. In both the ladies and gents there were frosted glass doors that offered no privacy!!!

I was very disappointed with this lounge in Luton, my visit coincided with the end of breakfast and the beginning of lunch. There was hardly any breakfast left when I arrived but this was not cleared away to for the lunchtime menu the staff appeared to be waiting until this was all finished - therefore there was not a great selection of hot food as advertised. The food on the lunch menu was being put out as we were leaving around 1pm. Also there was no cakes etc - just a biscuit jar with a few remains in. The staff were not particularly visible, tables not cleared and the lounge over booked so alot of people were hunting around for somewhere to sit. I have been in many lounges, this is the worst one I have visited and I will not be paying to use it again.

Rather disappointed with this lounge. I am a regular traveller with my 1 year old son. We have just completed 20 flights and always beginning at Manchester airport. I always use a lounge at the airport but this was my first time trying this particular one. When I entered there was a male customer being incredibly rude to a female customer. He was swearing at her and raising his voice. Another customer had to step in to diffuse the situation. This was not his job. It should have been your employee on the entrance desk. He allowed this man into the lounge regardless of his profanity and general disgusting attitude. By this time my son was a little unsettled. Even I was. I was hoping that this particular customer was not going to turn and say anything to me, especially since I was with a young child travelling by myself. And actually, knowing that he was in the lounge that I was going into did not make me feel great. By the time I reached the welcome desk I was not even greeted with a ‘hello’. I asked the man at the desk if he wanted my bar code on the booking receipt and he replied ‘give me your boarding card’. No please or thank yous. After doing this I began to walk inside. My son was starting to fuss so I stopped to get him out of his pram. The man on the desk shouted to me, in front of multiple guests waiting to enter the lounge, ‘excuse me, just so you know, the silent area is to the left of the lounge’. That made me feel very unwelcome. That kind of conversation should had been done quietly with me and not in front of an audience. I felt like I was being made an example of. Not once did I hear any general manners such as please or thank you. I stayed 20 minutes and left, as after this conversation, I didn’t feel comfortable staying. Highly disappointing. My experience in the other lounges across Manchester airport, in all terminals, has been 5 star.

Food was ok, not a lot of choice especially for kids, lack of Ale at the bar was disappointing. Staff seemed rushed and kept running out of things such as slices of lemon/lime and said they were too busy to refil them. At one point they ran out of Brie and when asked to refil they replied the chef was too busy to do this. Overall it was quite disappointing

Was disappointed in this lounge, food options were very disappointing and wasn’t replenished. WiFi was non existent, used a few airport lounges and this has got to be the worst.

Dear Andrea, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your recent visit to the lounge. The WIFI has been fixed however you can also log on to the airports WIFI when ours is down. Guests have been really enjoying our summer menu so I will certainly pass your comments on to the lounge manager. Many Thanks The Aspire Team

The sleeping pods are great, but overall the lounge is quite mediocre. You have to pay an extra £15 to shower, which is ridiculous. The food is not particularly nice and there are a lot of children in the lounge (many of them were loud and crying). It’s not a worthwhile experience.

It was not very clean. Tables not cleared very quickly. There could have been a better selection of food/snacks.

Hi Susan, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear the lounge did not meet your expectations. Guests have been really enjoying our summer menu that is available. Tables may have not been cleared away as quickly as normal as summer tends to be a busy period, however I will pass your comments on to the lounge manager. Many Thanks The Aspire Team

Lounge was well run by the staff but even for me the food choice was very limited chick pea curry which was spicy or soup my 3 kids didn't eat anything and had a couple of drinks I can only base my opinion on other lounges where lots more has been offered This was the smallest and in my opinion leist value for money that I have been to 😨

The food was short the area overcrowded due to far too many walk ins, was it worth the cost that would be no way.

Let’s start with how I was received in the lounge: in front of me in the “queue” waiting to get in were a family of 9 who had not booked. I was waiting behind them with my girlfriend. As 10 minutes had passed, I politely asked the male member of staff (in his 50s) if I was able to enter with my girlfriend given that we had already booked, rather than wait for any longer for this family in front who had not booked to be processed. A very nice female member of staff who had welcomed us at the entrance (before the stairs) actually contradicted her male colleague, and logically pointed out that it was silly for us to be waiting when all that was needed for a bar code to be scanned. She was very efficient and helpful. The behaviour of her male colleague was totally unacceptable and I will be asking for a full refund. Terrible service. Actual lounge and food offering was underwhelming - restaurants in the terminal are much nicer.
