We have used executive lounges in the past and the same lounge. The service was slow andthechoice of food left very much to be desired. A small amount of salad and ham which was the only meat available, the soup was almost empty and you were unable to find a large plate , we small very small plates,( almost saucer sized) to try to eat the pasta which I don't eat, and the vegetable ratatuille. we do have photos but arson my camera rather than my iPad. I can always forward these at a later date.

A bit unfair to rate Executive Lounges but did book Aspire lounge though Executive Lounges in Terminal 1 Manchester and was rather disappointed. Wasn't much choice of snacks, had to que for any drinks and only 1 person serving, people playing their own music via bluetooth speakers and asked staff to say something which they didn't do. Overall I won't be booking again at that lounge.

When we turned up the lounge was very busy. We were a family group and could not sit together and the children in our group had to sit on the floor! The food choice was poor and in need of replenishing, which did happen once the longe became quieter, WiFi signal was poor and small TVs did not work! A very disappointing start to our holiday.

The cleanliness was lacking. All plates and knives and forks and cutlery in general was filthy. I had to say many times to staff that plates etc were dirty. Been In many executive lounges which have been of a high standard and you are waited on an served your food etc. I was not very impressed.

We were very disappointed with the experience in the Aspire executive lounge due to lack of food on display, when requested food to be replenished lack of interest from staff and finally told they had no ham left. Tables were not cleared and cleaned . We will not use again.

The lounges at Manchester now just seem to be full of Benidorm bound holiday makers shoving as much booze and food down their necks as they can. Don't blame the airport for doing this but not the best experience

I have used the Aspire Lounge at Manchester terminal 2 many times for many years. I will never use it again until i find out that the quality and service has been returned to what it used to be. My friends who have recently used Aspire will not return either .

Did not enjoy my visit, poor selection of food very little to choose from, snacks bar empty , it was over booked people had to leave before the time all in all not worth the money I will not be going back as I got nothing out of it.

Long wait to enter the lounge. Dishes of food empty or very low. Had to ask twice for pre paid champagne. Glasses for water were not available & had to be asked for. One staff member only, on bar/reception who was very pleasant, but had far too many customers to be able to give good service. Insufficient staff for volume of passengers. I won't use again.

Poor food kept getting shuffled around to get more customers in my grandson who I paid full price for was moved from the wi fi to let a man in when I complained I was told it was needed for a client so what was my grandson? Didn't find it relaxing at all

Been here a few times, never any hot food available other than toast. The only benefit is peace and quiet away from the main hall, but at least there you get the option of a much better food selection.

Dear Guest, Before 11:30 am we have a selection of breakfast items available such as sausage, bacon, egg, beans, yoghurt and fruit. After 11:30 am we offer our main menu of a salad bar with ham and cheese, hot dishes such as pasta, pulled pork and curry and rice. Hello, I am really sorry to have to score the lounge so low however this was due to your staff and food quality. When we arrived a receptionist badly handled a complaining client. It became embarrassing as we were trying to check in. I don’t think the the complaint was handled properly. I thought the food was cold and there was never enough out on display. You had to always keep asking if more was being brought out and as soon as it was it disappeared so again when I went up there was no bread for example. Then my partner and I sat with some friends that we met in the airport and we were told to sit separately which we did. I had 1 drink then went shopping. I came back to over hear 2 members of staff (on duty at 2pm) with a customer discussing the other people I was sat with... I heard the word disgusting and disgraceful and when I asked what the problem was I was met with hostility straight away. You are only allowed 3 drinks and I said I’ve had two meaning the one if asked her for and she spat back but you are here again and looked at me like I was dirt on her shoe. I politely explained that this was my 2nd as I had been shopping and I may have one more. Well 3 is your limit she spat back until I said that I had 2 and I shall be back again but no where was there a 3 limit sign. She was rude to all the customers she served after then. She had dark hair and was in there till late afternoon. There is more detail to my complaint so please respond if you wish to know more. Many thanks Clodagh

Have used this particular lounge for many years but sadly I will be looking at alternatives next time The lounge was about 1/3 to 1/2 full yet there was a wait for clean glasses or plates The food choices have changed used to be filled rolls but now it's plated food (if you can find a plate) and it was salad ham cheese or 2 types of pasta or a rice all in all none of it was very appertising I heard one lady saying she was going out to get her children some food as they didn't like anything available and I could see why
