Disappointed with the experience at Heathrow Terminal 5. Had pre-booked and pre-paid. Lounge was busy and we managed to secure the last table. No white wine whatsoever (ordering error apparently) and sparkling wine was restricted to one free glass before you had to pay. No cakes or biscuits. Blue cheese ran out within 5 minutes of our arrival and was not replenished. Hot food was disappointing and appeared value engineered downwards. Butter chicken rice was not as I assumed butter chicken curry served with rice but actually a dish of mainly rice with a few chicken pieces stirred through. No toilets available. No price list on display for spa treatments. Soup however was nice. Poor value for money in my opinion and standards have dropped significantly from what they used to be. Presumably because of the free entry agreements entered into with many lounge pass and credit card memberships.

Unfortunately I didn’t feel it was worth the money. Very little food selection and was quite dirty. Also no seating so we had to move a few times to try and allocate appropriate seating.

No choice for breakfast in the executive plus lounge. I know this was the first flight opening of the day but the choice was limited, there were missing cutlery items and really for the price very poor. Quality expected was not received.

Was overbooked so could not sit for 40 minutes, food was not kept topped up so had to keep going back to time it right and tables were left dirty for up to 20 minutes after people left.

Amenities are nothing like lounges at other airports I have been to. The lounge is VERY uncomfortable and the food/drink options are poor.

Our experience of the lounge was unfortunately most disappointing. The staff seemed annoyed at requests being made to bring out more food, and we were told we had to wait by one member of staff very rudely, as if it were a huge burden. There were a few groups of us and we were told it was our fault there wasn’t enough food because we hadn’t all booked together but rather a few individual groups. Everyone had booked the same time slots so this was not an acceptable excuse, as they still should have been prepared for the intake. Furthermore the options themselves were advertised to be much more than there were in reality. Most of the salads, which were suitable for vegetarians, were not put out, in fact only one was. The whole experience was wholly unsatisfactory compared to what it is sold as and the staff did not seem interested in aiding this at all.

Check in / welcome poor. Staffing levels seemed very low - bar unmanned most of the time. Disappointing food offering, seldom topped up. What staff there were seemed defensive at best. I'll save my money next time.

Booked Newcastle Aspire lounge as a treat to get a holiday with my daughter and a friend off to a relaxing start. Unfortunately was very disappointing. The lounge looked more like a cafeteria, long queues for the drinks and while we were there(lunch time) the hot food ran out so people had to settle for cheese and biscuits or crisps. A passing comment from a fellow traveller in words I can print were that she’d ‘bleep’ upgraded for cheese and biscuits! Not inspired by Aspire, would give it a miss next time.

Shortage of staff. Opened late due to no staff. Fraught staff. Food average not much choice. Not the usual standard we have enjoyed in the past or expect from a premier lounge. Very disappointing.

Since you ask 1. Reception arrival was more like an interruption than a warm greeting 2. The breakfast was cold and univiting and there seemed to be no one there to refresh the items 3. Tables were messy and cluttered with dirty pots and plates 4. Somebody must have complained at the front desk and the receptionist spend 10 minutes discussing with the other member of staff in quite a derogeratory fashion with very colourful language I travel emirates with business to Dubai but on this occasion I was with my mother in law, sister in law and my wife. It was a 10 day holiday which did not start in the way I was hoping I would find it difficult to book aspire plus for 4 next time we travel as I felt it simply was not worth the cost I do rate Leeds Bradford and Manchester and perhaps that is the customer service level that you aspire to ( no pun intended )

The lounge was crowded and the staff could not cope with the level of people. As a result they were harassed and some came across as rude. Cheese and hams were poor and often empty. Bar choices poor as well.

Lounge felt like being in a cafe, seating is cramped and uncomfortable. We were sat on a small table with no charging points, I had to ask people sat on high bistro chairs if I could charge my phone where they were sat. Open plan design means noise travels throughout and contributes to cafe environment, not relaxing place to be. Food comes out intermittent and in small amounts, if lounge is full, which it was, you have to wait for a while until more is put out. Tables were 'reserved' (scraps of paper on table with name on)so if you wanted to sit in one of the more comfortable chairs you couldn't. Staff however were fantastic! A holiday is supposed to be relaxing and being in the lounge is supposed to be the start of your experience, it wasn't. I can think of better ways to spend my £45+ at the airport.
