It was our first time visiting the Executive Lounge. It was clean, and the food was ok, but just felt there was no atmosphere ( it was at 7am so maybe that was the reason). Have to admit that unless I was travelling alone I would rather stay in the main departure lounge.

The staff was lovely but the food no so good, not a lot of choice, and cold

Glad we used the lounge early morning as it was starting to get very busy when we left, and with it being quite small think it would have gotten cramped. Good drink selection available, but would have liked a better selection of cold food, such as better pastries and muffins. We didnt have a bad experience but i would possible go to another lounge next time.

The food and drinks were up to the normal standard but the lounge was very very busy and we struggled to even find a seat. Not what we expected.

It was nice to get away from the main airport. That said, the lounge was pretty busy and the food offer was a little substandard.

Relaxed setting is preferable to the actual airport but the food on offer was very poor in comparison to other UK airport lounges.

Drinks options decent, lack of charging points & seating not great.

Newcastle Aspire Lounge provided gf food for my wife this time after she was refused the gf crisps previously as 'it was too early'. Top marks for that. However they have now taken Tia Maria off the drinks menu - and this is my wife's favourite drink. We may not bother next year as her options are very limited.

Not very much really as tables were overflowing with dirty crockery on arrival, no light snacks or biscuits were available (although some hot food was available), very limited wine choice and slow WiFi speeds. All quite basic really and does not favourably compare to recent lounge experiences in Gatwick South and Glasgow. Consequently, did not represent good value for money.

We arrived early afternoon 2pm , found few seats available , comfortable and quiet surroundings. however when we arrived the only hot food available was soup, no other items except cheese was available , there was one slice of quiche left on a plate. Several other passengers waiting at the bar for a drink , no one serving , one member of staff asked for help but none came so he cleaned the bar and served the passengers waiting. someone asked if there was any food coming out , he said yes soon, it arrived about half hour later , which was 2 trays of pasta. and pastries. lovely lounge with showers etc, bit of a poor service , shame .

I received a warm welcome , even-though no one knew who I was.

Having used the executive Lounge on several occasions, I think that it is now become a little expensive for what you get, especially if you use it early in the morning. The staff were very helpful and polite but it is a lot of money for what we actually used.

Was our 1st visit to an executive lounge and wasn’t blown away - the room was too cold and the food wasn’t hot either. My wife did speak to someone about the room temperature and was told it was under review. Overall probably not worth the money on this occasion.
