“The facilities were superb however we did not receive a very warm welcome. Despite going through the booking process because we were a group of men we were initially refused entry. All of us are in our 50's and wanted a relaxing start to our annual get together. We were treated as though we were a group of party animals intent on getting drunk and rowdy. The lady staff member advised us that we shouldn't have been able to book as a single sex group and that it wouldn't happen again !!”

“Enjoyed a lovely time in the executive lounge at Luton airport. Food and drink was great. Furthermore with our flight being delayed over 2 hours, it was very relaxing in this lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful.”

“Arrived 1.5hrs before due to close. We knew this so was not a problem. However, the quality of the food was extremely poor. Salad was low on stock, had to ask for it to be replenished. The cheese and ham had obviously been out a while as had the bread rolls. Meat in the curry was dry as was the rice. No accompaniments (popadums, naan etc available). The veggie dish looked like it had been scraped together. Deserts where poor, and again had been out for a while. I understand the issues some customers have with greediness over alcohol but to see 'warning' signs over being questioned if you order 2 drinks is somewhat over the top and very Big Brother for those of us who can control their intake! Whilst I understand that we had booked the lounge for the last 2 hours meaning we would only have a short period of time in there, we still paid the same as those who had a much better quality and choice of food!”

“On arrival the lady on reception was professional and very accommodating with pleasant exchanges which set the tone for our visit. The lady behind the bar was lovely and also very nice to chat to. I will recommend using the lounge to my family and friends and will be back in the future. Well done and thank you for an amazing start to my holiday. .”

“Lounge its self is nice. Woman on front desk was a bit rude with our party. And we weren't a stag or hen party. Just a normal family. Rest of staff where lovely. . Breastfast good , could do with bigger plates.”

“Staff wasn't happy that they were other Black people in the lounge and we were told not to sit close to each other. I was surprised my Name was being referenced on most Black people who walked in. I wish I could get a refund because there was no food to match the pricing. The staff didn't do justice to the name and expectation of this potentially great place. If I can get my refund and forget about the bad experience.”

“Was not impressed with the premier lounge. Not a great deal of difference from the normal lounge for the price difference. Staff were very rude and not helpful at all. Would not recommend to anyone. I have booked into lounges around the country and Newcastle is definitely the worst so far.”

“The London Gatwick Lounge is superb. However, Manchester escape lounge is very, very, poor. Stale food, Buffet all dried up and that's at ten in the morning.”
