“All good with one main criticism; used Manchester 3 times this year and each time it has been cold in the lounge. I gave feedback and was told the airport set the air con. However, this makes it too cold and quite uncomfortable.”

“Rather underwhelming, smallish lounge, chairs more upright than comfy, food and drinks were simple / basic but somehow this didn't all feel like the 'luxury' experience promoted. Way inferior to the luxury lounge at the Marco Polo airport which was cheaper”

“We had a early flight, and we always book the lounges, which ever airport we fly from, it is nice to start your holiday in comfort, the breakfast was top class and a good selection of drinks, we found the lounge quiet, and peaceful, would recommend passengers to use them”

“The Lounge in Terminal 5 is small and busy but don’t let that put you off! The seating area is very comfortable. Stafff are helpful and friendly. The food and snacks selection is constantly restocked. There is also a small work area set aside from the main lounge for those who need to catch up on work. I welcomed the rest between flights. Would definitely use this Lounge again when travelling through Terminal 5”

“They were helpful when I asked if they had an adaptor for my charger. It was also nice and quiet when we first arrived.”

“We were here a couple of years ago and it was brilliant, it was self service and there seem to have been more choice. This time was good but i felt a little guilty because i had 3 Gin and tonics.”

“Aspire Manchester Terminal 2 is fairly basic for an executive lounge and showing its age. Terminal 1 Aspire is much better. New furniture and space needed. Food selection could be better. However the staff are helpful and friendly.”

“The lounge was lovely, style, décor and comfort. I was disappointed with the food available, it was 12.45pm and it hadn't been replenished (it wasn't that busy), There was no bread for the soup, no main course left the vegetable curry was almost empty. It took 20 minutes to add sausages to replace the main course. I didn't like to see the trolley next to me when clearing and scraping plates, it felt like a cafeteria rather than Executive lounge. Perhaps park it discreetly away from customers. Otherwise, staff were well presented and helpful.”

“The welcome and breakfast was lovely I had a couple of vodkas and hubby had three beers. It was lovely and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of downstairs. We hadn’t used the lounge for a couple of years as we had thought they weren’t as good but this visit has regained my confidence and I will definitely use them again. Thank you for a good start to my holiday.”

“The lounge was oversold. There were no seats. When entering we were told that we would have to share, but in reality there were no seats at all. Since we bought in advance, there was no return of money.”

“For first time, I spent a couple of hours in the Aspire Lounge at LHR T5. It cost £35. I would put the experience down as average. Inferior to the BA lounge: smaller, less variety in food. Having booked this I was offered an upgrade to business class by BA for £59. Had I not already paid for Aspire I would have taken that. The guy on the front desk was a bit miserable and seemed to take an eternity to work out whether people could get in or not. Long thin lounge with comfortable seating. Staff are generally a bit disinterested. In common with a lot of other lounges (BA included), the USB connections at the seat have low power and only offer slow charging. Why? Food is OK. More finger food than anything. Reasonable selection of wines, though again, could do with a happier bar tender. Would I go there again? Not sure. For £35 I think I could while away my time at a public restaurant and bar just as easily.”
