“Quite small. Nowhere to sit for the first 45 minutes other than what appeared to be a kitchen area - think it was previously a spa? Did get better seats eventually. Food was ok but query how many people want curry for lunch before they fly?”

“Booked the lounge due to a special birthday with friends champagne pre booked, but despite it being on the booking we had to ask for it. Needed more tables to eat at as the few there were full so had to balance plates on our knees. More frustrating emirates lounge adjacent to this was empty and couldn’t use the space.”

“The food was decent but had obviously stood for a while. There was a very limited choice of hot food (2 options). I had to wait quite a lot for my drink to be topped up as the person serving was away from the bar. This was very frustrating. Either have someone on the bar all of the time or leave the bottle so people can help themselves. The lounge itself was good. Very comfortable and clean.”

“Lounge was very busy (possibly over busy or over bookedand on this particular day, 28 November 2019. Also as soon as anyone left a card was put down reserving every seat in the lounge for Philippine Airlines so any arriving about 12 noon would not have been able to find a seat - rather a poor show when you have just paid £25 for a seat.”

“Spent 6-7.30pm in the lounge. Had to ask three times if more hot food was being prepared, it was very slow and the dishes were coming out in the wrong order so the meat dish first then had to wait 10 minutes for the potatoes. The tables were not cleared in a timely way so several tables had stacks of dirty plates left on them. The wine we had was okay but the white wine was warm. The staff were not unpleasant but we're clearly not motivated to give even a reasonable service level. Our first visit to the lounge we had a voucher for one half price entrance fee but would probably not bother to visit again.”

“I frequently travel and usually use Airport lounges as a way of making the travel experience more enjoyable. Helsinki Aspire is my favourite Lounge. The food is always of the highest quality with a wide variety of options and drinks. The lounge has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful”
