“We received our 9 pairs of board and batten shutters in a timely manner, but one pair had a defect. We called Exterior Solutions, emailed them a picture of the defect, and were told they would ship us replacements. In just a few days we received the replacements, which were in good shape. The thickness of the material could have been greater, and the ends of the boards could have been molded as part of the board (as the sides were), but really not a problem at this price.The color was also just like the free samples they had mailed us.. I would recommend exterior solutions as long as the buyer realizes the shutters are non-returnable.”

“The shutters themselves were good. They seem sturdy and durable. I appreciated being able to get a free sample set for color matching to existing shutters. I wish there was an easy way to send those back so they could be reused. Also, the ordering and shipping process was pretty fast, much faster than I expected! I will say that I wish the bolts had more rigidity to them—I found them bending in several cases when I was getting them through the board and into the siding, particularly for higher shutters. Also, in trying to drill the holes into my siding, I accidentally scraped the face of a couple of shudders, and the scratch looks pretty white and bright. You can't see the scrapes with the shutters on the house, but the product overview said the color was blended all the way through, which it is, but that scuffs would look the same color as the product, and I didn't find that to be the case. Overall though, I would purchase again if I needed more shutters.”

“30 year old stucco with cracks and poor substrate was replaced with a solid foundation, scratch coat and a beautiful finish. I have 35 years in construction and their work is top notch. Great find..... GREAT SERVICE.”

“Gentlemen: I place my order and was given an approximate date of delivery for the end of October. Around the third week in October, I contacted your company and was told it was in shipping and be shipped out by the end of the week. I'm telling you all this because in all my communications via email and phone, your company has been extremely helpful and informative! With the supply chain issues, I expected delays and excuses, but got quick responses to any communications. Thank you, and yes, I would recommend your company in the future if the situation arose. “Although it took 3 months to receive them due to COVID, we were pleased with our shutter purchase. They arrived by freight, were unloaded on a pallet into our garage & were without any box damage. Although there were some flaws, they weren’t significant enough to warrant a return. They were primed at the factory and we painted them. Overall, the shutters met our expectations and would recommend this company to others.”

“The shutters were flimsy and certainly not worth the price I paid for them. Neighbors who were helping me hang them concurred. As far as the fasteners that were included, they are totally useless, breaking in half and twisting. I ended going to the hardware store and purchasing screws that were far superior and much easier to install.”
