I take size 11 shoes & have been sent a pair of size 9 walking boots in a box marked size 11. My view of F & T may change depending on how quickly and efficiently this is resolved.

Disappointing. I ordered a pair of walking boots for my wife off the Internet for a gift and was very disappointed when they arrived, they turned up in a tatty box, scribbled with pen and to top it off they were a different colour!!! Sun bleached is an understatement. I'm not bothered about the box or the pen colouring..but come on..is there no quality control?? I paid nearly £7.00 for next day delivery and had to fork out nearly the same out of my own pocket to return them, not fair as it's not my fault that the goods they supplied were like third hand. Also there was no contact number for me to phone and talk to someone and arrange a exchange. Very disappointing. Jules Gallimore

I deliberately ordered two items to save on delivery. One was cancelled so I emailed straight way to ask if I could this could be replaced with something else or cancelled til something else was available but was told I could not cancel. It would have been nice to have the option to be able decide if one wishes to wait, proceed or cancel before items. If thing are out of stock them either you should not accept order in first place or be prepared to allow people option to replace items. My last email has been ignored Very disappointed!

I ordered size 10 trainers.. Received size 8 ! And I have to pay for the return. Great

I placed order and everything looked extremely well organised and plenty of communication. I paid extra for delivery (next day) and yes Yodel failed big time. Should have been delivered 7th, then 8th and its now the 9th October and I need this item for my sons w/e walk. This is my first order with yourselves and very disappointed!!

I had a discount code for this store via Unidays. I contacted Field and trek about it as when I put my order in the discount was accepted. When I went to pay it disappeared. I have heard nothing. I contacted Unidays who said I had to contact the retailer, which I have done. You cannot ring them, it has to be via email. Silence. Beware this company if you have a problem.

I cannot yet comment on the quality of the goods as I have not even received them yet. This is therefore exceedinly premature. I also ticked the box for no advertising emails. This request has been cpmpletely ignored and they have tried to sell me more stuff. No thanks in future.

Still waiting for delivery, Yodel have lost parcel, why am I not surprised!! Cannot understand why companies who want to develop strong commerce relationships with customers use this logistics company? Call to Field & Trek customer service was a very poor experience, gentleman who answered my call had no interest in helping me, no offer to help sort out with Yodel or an offer of replacement. I had to insist on a refund and this was finally given after much debate. I would rather had replacement but at no time was this offered !!! Will not use this company again.

Ordered a pair of Merrell walking shoes size 10 and was very impressed with the speed of delivery. However, when I received them they looked very small for a a size 10 and were unable to get them on. The size label on the shoes showed the correct size, which i ordered but they were clearly not a size 10. To confirm the correct size I took out the insole and compared them with my Meindl, Brasher and Clarks walking shoes insoles and in all cases the Merrells were 15mm smaller. Accordingly i have returned them by registereded post as advised which has cost me a further £11.00. NOT best pleased.

The delivery service was good but the trainers delivered were poorly manufacured. The insole had not been cut to size so one shoe was tighter than the other.

I was very disappointed. The soles of the shoes were dirty and there was a stain the the heel. There was no padding material in the box... for all intents and purposes the shoes were second hand.

Have not yet received goods as yodel are a total nightmare with delivery and I had paid extra for express delivery. What a joke!!!!

The goods ordered were absolutely fine. However......I paid for next day delivery which did not happen. I received a message from the delivery company (Yodel) to say that my parcel was on the delivery vehicle for delivery on the correct day. Having waited until 9pm the delivery did not materialise. I checked the Yodel website and there was no status update after the initial message....no card had been left...no parcel delivered. The following morning (2 days after the order was placed) I received another message to say the parcel wasagain on the delivery vehicle. This time the delivery was made. The parcel contained a birthday present - which was why I paid the extra for next day delivery - which was obviously not received on time. I have contacted Field & Trek but they have failed to answer and have not refunded the extra I paid for 'next day' delivery. I have been a regular customer of F&T for many years but am very very disappointed with the service and lack of contact. Pull your finger out F&T - you claim that customer service (and by implication customer loyalty) is important - you need to demonstrate this if you are serious about it! If you need goods in a hurry DONT rely on the so-called 'next day' delivery option - its a rip-off!!

Yodel delivery not arrived and sent to Reading in error. Now tracking on Yodel not updated for three days and we don't know what is happening. Unfortunately would put us off on-line delivery from F&T in future.
