“I certainly could not recommend to anyone, to buy anything, from this crowd,.....bought a pair of 'brasher' leather walking boots, just recently. One of the 'eyelets' has broken off, already ?,...(after a week !),....wont even send me a replacement, pair ?,.....i also paid for 'next day' delivery, which wasnt 'honoured' , either ?......(had to wait two days, before i got them !)”

“The website is not actually linked to the shop, I ordered my tent & paid extra for next day delivery, its now 3 days after the order was placed & payment was taken & still no sign of delivery. When I went to the site to track my parcel, I couldn't get access & received multiple warnings that the site security was not secure, what a joke.”

“Ordered, paid postage £4.99, 11 days later still no parcel from yodel (their company). Emailed Field & Trek, said parcel had been despatched - no help whatsoever. Note from Royal Mail stating there was a parcel at their sorting office which could not be delivered as there was postage to pay! Had to pay another £6.40 to get my package!!! Emailed Field & Trek on my return home ........... surprise surprise, still waiting for a reply. Will never deal with this comany again. Goods arrived after they were needed. Another top class Mike Ashley company!!!”

“I entered the wrong delivery address due to the confusing address auto-complete. I sent an e-mail to customer services but never received a reply. I then rang after a google search to look for a phone number that is not advertised on the website. The person told me the item had been despatched but did absolutely nothing to contact the delivery firm. The delivery firm attempted delivery to the incorrect address until I contacted them directly to re-arrange the delivery address. A truly appalling service from Field & Trek!”

“Extremely poor company!! I would avoid at all costs. I bought a pair of North Face trousers, size XL. When they arrived they were a 34inch waist which the North Face site states is a medium. Field and Trek simply tried sticking a label over the manufacturers sizing. Disgusting, dishonest behaviour! I now have to wait up to 2 weeks for them to process the return!”

“This is the second time that i have received items not corresponding to the size requested. Having to pay an extra £5 in postage to receive the items requested is somewhat shame full on F&T .. you should reimburse the return postage !!!!”

“well I ordered 4 things a week ago. I received confirmation of my order the next day, and within two days my money was taken from my bank account. Since then I have heard nothing, no mention of my order and no idea when its going to be delivered/ I sent a complaint to headoffice and received an email saying that my email had been received and they would respond as soon as possible, that was to days ago! so NO I am not impressed, this is a terrible service and I am considering cancelling my order and requesting my money back, something tells me however that could take even longer. POOR SERVICE FIELD AND TREK,”

“I tried my local Sports Direct store for walking boots. There was nothing suitable. They suggested I try Field and Trek in Betws y Coed so I drove down there....a good trip from where I live. Again there was no boots that were right so I ordered a pair of Berghaus Lady Explorer Goretex boots on line for click & collect at my local Sports Direct. Basically unlike other retailers whose Click & Collect I have used, I was charged £4.99 delivery. In return I received a £5 Sports Direct voucher. I would have much preferred free Click & Collect like other retailers offer. I couldn't try them on in store without 'collecting' them & checking them out , I was then told I can't return them to store but have to send them back myself if they aren't right. Despite the boots being the same make, model and size as my old Berghaus boots they are too small....perhaps the last has changed since I bought my last pair... If they had had any stock of Berghaus boots in either of the two shops I would have known that... Now I have to post them back at my own expense... So basically its cost me £5 for a voucher I don't want and it will be another £5 to return them. Needless to say I will not be shopping with Field and Trek or Sports Direct on line again... A very disappointing experience...”
