“Site was reasonably easy to use with sufficent information and references on most of the potential tutors . The process for contacting the tutors and communicating with them was tedious and then one has to pay for the contact information . It was a last resort to use the site because of this .”

“very professional and helpful site. great communication. ensure you are happy with the service. speedy resolved issues if you have any. all hard work down by them. you just pick tutor, details are release and communication by email first allows for to set up schedule. I was a bit worried as my daughter only 16 yrs old. no need as tutor comes to our home. she feels safe and comfortable in her own environment. well done first tutor 10/10.”

“Excellent site to find tutors in your own area - I normally prefer tutors to be recommended to me by other parents but this time I could not find anyone - so this site was excellent and I made a good choice for a tutor Mary Co. Cork Ireland”

Dear Ernest, Thank you for your feedback. The intro fee helps cover the costs of ID checks, reference collection, qualification verification etc. which gives parents and students peace of mind. The feedback on tutor profiles from previous clients gives a good indication regarding quality/satisfaction of a tutor but if you are not satisfied with the tutor we ask that you leave feedback on their profile expressing your disappointment, we then offer you another tutor at no further cost. “I made enquiries online regarding private tutors for my daughter for GCSE Maths. I found the First Tutors website very easy to use and directed me to the most appropriate tutors in my area for the subject and level I was after. The layout of each of the profiles was very good and enabled me to make a decision with confidence as there were personal reviews from other clients. The response from First Tutors and the process of me being able to contact the chosen tutor was very good and effortless. I have now chosen a Tutor and she has had her first lesson with my daughter which went very well. For a reasonable one -off fee to First Tutors it is a great way of sorting through the possible options online. The fact the Tutors have been checked and have references from other clients is also reassuring.”

“Tatiana had all the materials prepared and was very flexible when we discussed the requirements of the lessons. Nicely prepared work sheets and a friendly atmosphere. I will be looking forward to the lessons and expect there to be some developments as time progresses.”
