When the windows were first fitted, they were not as the plan showed. The Company kept asking to make appointments for us to advertise their product, several times, then not showing up when appointments were booked. Kept getting our address mixed up with another in our area. Today we have been locked in to our property as back door lock no longer works, told would have to wait several days until it is fixed. Told a manager would contact me as the call handler couldn't process an emergency call out. Company only installs badly and makes false promises, such as their product would cure damp, in the house. No emergency call outs, if product goes wrong. Only had their product for 3 years.

Shocking salesman. He was hear for three hours and kept knocking down the price that went from 18.000 down to 4.500. Stay well clear of this cowboy company.

Work commenced in Dec'19. Works STILL not signed off and are not completed over 3 years later. From start to finish the company are shambolic, their products are poor and their service is terrible. Do not use First Home Improvements

Firstly we got approached by one of their salesman (Called 'Dan'), he was very very intrusive, wouldn't stop talking or even allow us to think for ourselves. He verbally forced us to pay a lesser amount of deposit just for us to sign the paper. Then a so called surveyor came and did no calculations at all! didn't even take into account that we are on a main road regarding noise, air circulation or any technical calculation that would make you think he is educated. after 3 months we were promised a deliver y and it took 9 MONTHS... after 1 month we wanted to cancel it due to a legal clause which is 'Failure to provide service within promised time'. When I called the manager and told them angrily what is going on!? First of all they had no clue who we were... this is usually the final nail in the coffin but even with that, after 30 mins on the phone they finally realised they were on planet earth and found our file... ONLY then he chased it up.. EVEN with that it took them 9 months to deliver on their service... You may think we got some nice windows... WRONG... our current windows allow every single car to drive through our bedroom and living room. WE PAID £11,000! Expecting no noise but all we got was cheap second hand windows. A professional came to test the audio in our home and he also said that the windows are unacceptable... We call them up and they ignored us and simply said 'we can't compare the noise of the windows before and after' - What kind of answer is that?... LAST THING PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!! Do not take their finance option of 'you don't have to pay for the first year' because of this..... after that 1 year if you haven't paid it all back the windows will increase from £11k to £22k!!! That is a 11,000 pounds increase and this was NOT MENTIONED... That is why I have taken the liberty to go on every single social media outlet and will be taking this further with the council and solicitors so nobody else gets ripped off by these people.

Had to ask the salesman to leave as he got rude, aggressive and downright weird when I said we just wanted a quote for replacement windows and didn’t want to go through the rigmarole of hearing all about the company history and marketing schemes! He acted very wounded, made out like I was going to cost him his job, guilt tripped us, asked if he should leave then called his manager and berated me for not caring about the company. The manager then proceeded to talk to me like a child and was also rude and obnoxious with a side helping of misogyny. They both made me feel very uncomfortable in my own home and it explains why they required both homeowners to be present when the salesman said they have had to deal with multiple court cases where women were alone with salesmen! After those bully boy tactics I’m not surprised. Weirdest experience ever. Avoid this company at all costs!

Had a guy knock on my front door, was a little annoyed to tell you the truth. However the guy was ultra professional and polite and informed me about a scheme called the green allowance. To help homeowners upgrade there windows and doors. Mine luckily have all been done. However they left me with an excellent price on 8 leaf by folding doors which I accepted. Brilliant sales and service right from the first contact to the end
