“I installed around 1800 square feet of Nakan Signature. The boards are nice and feel sturdy. While installing the planks I felt that the sides of the top of the plank (not the locking system) can buck up rather easily which is not ideal. Aside from that, the pallets the floors shipped on were either too weak or overloaded as one of them arrived broken and was bowing somewhat in the middle. Thankfully, the boards were not damaged. Overall, the product feels well made and is nice to walk on.”

“Ordered 3 samples of LVP and got 3 additional for free! We loved the flooring, we’re even more impressed with it in person. The reason for the low mark is that my project requires placing the flooring on stairs. After contacting Modin, I was informed that stair nose samples were not offered in and couldn’t be accommodated. Of course this is an issue because doing stairs is expensive and not covered well by online content/videos. We haven’t ordered floors yet due to my concerns around how the different stair trim profiles will work with my existing steps.”

“I installed both Soho (kitchen/family room area) and Kingwood (bedrooms) flooring in my home. The floors look great but I have 2 major issues. 1) the floor isn't as easy to install as other click-lock floating floors. I've installed several click-lock floating floors in the past (including long planks) and these floors are a bit of a struggle to lay down; I had to use my hammer more than I liked. If this was the only issue then I'd likely give 4 stars. I also noticed that the edges (click-lock mechanism) is pretty fragile; edge pieces break off fairly easily. I expected these edges to be more durable. Once installed, I don't see this being an issue but during installation, it was a bit of a pain. 2) the floors were delivered much later than anticipated (several months late). I understand that covid has messed up supply chains world-wide but I feel that the customer service from this company could have been better. I spent well over $10k on flooring and communication from this company was very limited. The floor delays caused a series of issues with my project and in the end I lost my contractor and ended up installing the floors myself. I don't blame flooret completely but I do feel the communications could have been better.”

“The samples were beautiful, and very well packaged. I ordered 3 full sized planks on different colors. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 samples had chipped or broken edges at some point, where the planks should lock in. Despite being well packaged in car lard with padding. That makes me concerned about how many planks would be damaged in a full order.”

If you reach out to our support team at 1-800-700-8122, we'd be more than happy to help you out with some replacement samples! Additionally, while plank samples are sent via standard postage, your full order will be shipped via commercial freight and the boxes will be palletized and fully secured. Full orders almost always arrive in perfect condition and in the event that there is damage, we will replace 100% of the damaged product as soon as possible so you can complete your installation on schedule. Hi Rita! We don't have a full printed catalog at the moment, but we do have a brochure that shows many of the colors in the Modin Collection. However, the best way to see the true color of the flooring is to order a sample! Looks like you sampled Sutton and Soho. If those are too light for your space, I would recommend grabbing samples of these colors: Arbor, Brenwick, Kingswood, Pomeroy, and Catura. Hope that helps! -Ashlee

“A bit disappointed actually. I was excited to learn of Flooret due to the 40mil layer. However, upon receiving my samples, I was very disappointed because it looked so much like plastic. Maybe be it was such a small piece? Not sure, but I know I’ve seen better “looks like wood” products. Back to the search.”

“Floors look nice, install was fairly easy. The pieces are very heavy, so you need a big hammer to knock them into place. We were able to install our whole main level over the weekend with the help of a few friends. They have held up well over the past 4 months, despite a dog and toddler. I've noticed a few scratches from where our couch has been sitting, so will need to put protectors on the furniture feet. We get lots of compliments on how it looks. Biggest complaint: delivery. The delivery driver refused to back the truck into our driveway, and also refused to help me unload the pallets. I had to hand unpack the (very heavy) flooring boxes onto the street, then carry them up to the house. I was not anticipating this and did not have extra help to watch my daughter so I had to ask the neighbor to come over. NOT the service I would expect after paying $300 for delivery, and definitely left me feeling less than satisfied with Flooret. Overall, I would still recommend Flooret flooring, but am very disappointed with their delivery service.”

We do our best to communicate exactly what a curbside delivery entails to our customers, but it sounds like we may not have accurately done that in your case. From the way you described the delivery service you received, everything went as we would expect a curbside delivery to go. The driver is only required to leave the pallets at the curb in front of your house. “I purchased the base arbor--we were doing most of the house (except kitchen and bathrooms, which we had previously tiled). We didn't love the 9 in width so we went with the base, but they have less options for stairs. We did the majority of the floors ourselves, except our stairs and landing with stairs. Our contractor for that was unimpressed with the option that we had purchased for the stairs. I think I would thoroughly recommend the base for very standard, no stairs--and the upgraded floors for very normal stairs, but a bigger company that can handle the pieces/ plugs for a landing. Price is great. IT was an easy install for easy rooms. I will also say that we had issues first with the sample order and then had to call for the flooring order... and again for the trim order.... but I suspect that is normal in covid and with direct from manufacturer... just to let you know what to expect.”

“Product itself is excellent. Unfortunately shipping was a nightmare. From 3-4 month unknown wait times to freight delivery drivers who basically can’t deliver anymore than dumping it on the side of the road, to getting trim prices that are out of stock. Great product but don’t order this unless you have 3-6 months to dedicate to waiting for everything.”

“Would be great but everything is back ordered so I didn’t receive all samples. Seems like they have a supply chain issue. Quality of the panels do look very good but it’s hard to consider a purchase with most products on back order.”

“I paid $50 for samples. The pictures online show a variety of images that illustrate a rich diversity in the floor when installed. The samples I received are virtually identical to each other in each separate pattern.”

“Flooret seems like a superior choice if you want vinyl flooring, but at the end of the day it's plastic, and in retrospect I really wish I had gone with tile. You really need to see and walk on a room (or several rooms) with vinyl planks before going with that choice, samples are not enough.”
