“I bought both the red and the green because I have a hard time finding something that doesn’t taste store bought. Yours does not. Both taste fresh. Here’s the “but”. In my mind, the green, because it is chunkier, packs so much more flavor in it than the red, that I was disappointed that I only had red left. The red is good, it’s not the green”

Hi Michael, Thanks for your feedback! We are glad you're enjoying the Pure Green. Have you tried our Red/Green Blend chile? It is FULL of flavor and has chunks of roasted red chile in it that we think you'll love. The Fresh Red Chile Sauce is meant to be a sauce and thus doesn't have that chunky texture that you're referring to but is very tasty when added into recipes. We have a bunch of recipes on our website ( freshchileco.com ) that utilize the Fresh Red Chile sauce so we hope you'll be able to find some ideas on how to use and enjoy it even if it's not your fave! The Fresh Red is meant to be a sauce not a salsa which may be where you were confused by the texture when you opened it. The Pure Green Chile and the Red/Green Blend do have chunks of roasted chile in them does give them the chunky texture you were likely expecting. “I just opened the green chili sauce and I have almost used it all up. It is great on scrambled eggs, meat loaf and chicken! I did not think I would have to reorder so soon:)”

“We used the green chili for the first time this morning on Huevos Rancheros ala Pecos River Cafe in Carlsbad, New Mexico. My wife says I have achieved Huevos Nirvana. I used the medium on hers and the hot on mine. There didn't seem to be much difference in the heat levels but they were both good.”

“YEEHAW! My tummy is doing the happy dance while enjoying this fresh chile. I got the red, the green and the blend pack and I know I will be buying more. Made some enchiladas with the red and hubby is now addicted. The blend chile was used on my breakfast tacos and they never tasted better. Gonna make some green chile stew soon. I got the extra hot. It ain't burn a hole in your butt hot, but its's got a kick and I like that. Ya'll better get you some.”

“I have been a customer now for almost a year. I'm on my 4th reorder! Not only the red, green and mixed chili are always consistent in the quality, but fresh and tasty everytime you pop a jar open. Check out all there other products. My second favorite is there honey! But somethings tells me that anything these guys put there hands on will be good!”
