Chris Bonnett...You should be ashamed of yourself Chris Bonnett...You should be ashamed of yourself You are a SCAMMER and a THIEF You helped yourself to my money 3 months ago, but the courier lost my plants and you are ignoring my requests for a refund...absolutely disgusting customer service. I wish I had read all the bad reviews before trusting you!!! BTW when you leave your own company a 5 star review...this is FRAUD If you feel like doing the right thing, my order number is 600485891

Please, please read the reviews, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! they are an absolute disgrace, i do not even want to give them a star but I have to, to add this review. I ordered £80 worth of plants on the 14th April, received no notifications until May when I received an email saying ALL plants were to be dispatched shortly by Hermes, I received 1 part of my order, well 1 part of what should have been my order of 10 succulents, what I actually received was 8 battered & squashed succulents, 1 plant pot containing compost and a dead root and one empty plant pot! the rest of my order to date as still not arrived, like previous reviews I too have raised tickets as there is no way of contacting them by telephone to no avail. I have raised a claim through resolver too, but again this as hit a brick wall with the same generic email response each time. absolutely disgraceful!!

AVOID AVOID AVOID these SCAMMERS and THIEVES AVOID AVOID AVOID they are SCAMMERS and THIEVES BEWARE this company will take your money, but they won't send you your plants. Then when you try to contact them, they will ignore you completely...or if they reply, it's a standard response blaming COVID19. They should stop being greedy by continuing to take orders, until they have fulfilled the ones like mine, purchased back in April. I placed an order on 17th April and it still hasn't arrived. I have sent numerous emails and got my bank involved, but still no plants. I sent a letter by recorded delivery on 20th May, to ask for a refund, but it has just been returned, with a label stuck on it saying return to sender as they have CLOSED due to Covid19. This has to be the worst run company ever...ripping so many people off by taking their money, not providing what was purchased and then ignoring them. I wish I had read the reviews before handing over my hard earned money

I would give lower than 1 star if possible. We waited months for plants, which was expected given the current situation, but when they did arrive, we received less than half of our order, with no indication as to where the rest of our order is. Our money has been taken (£190) and no sign of rest of delivery 12 days later, no apology or any explanation, except for a generic email when we tried to contact them through their website. Plants that have arrived are in no fit state to be sold and look nothing like photos on their website and arrived very badly packaged. The people running this business should be ashamed of themselves. If you cannot fulfil orders stop taking them! Unbelievably, it does appear as though some positive reviews on here have been posted by people that own the business!! They clearly have enough time to do that but not to respond to the many many unhappy customers. What a waste of time, energy and money.

Do not touch Gardening Express with a bargepole! Everything you read about them is true: 3 months delay, no access to customer service, emails ignored, half of order did not materialise, the rest arrived in pitiful condition, refund only processed once I got the credit card company onto them.

6 weeks of waiting, and when my order finally arrived it consisted of 7 utterly dried up, completely dead twigs (some broken off the root). I really cannot express how bad the quality of the experience has been at every step of the process, from attempts at contacting customer service through to the eventual arrival of the plants. Unbelievable.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!! I ordered some bedding plants on the 23rd of June, 2020. Then I saw the reviews of this company, I wish I had seen them before I ordered. I got canned emails saying due to Covid 19 I could expect further delays to those already stated on their website, so I asked to cancel the order. I did this by means of their website support ticketing system as this is the only means of contact offered. No phone number, no email and canned responses. That in itself should have rung alarm bells, so be warned!! To date, I still have no idea of when the plants are likely to be delivered, no information has been offered and I've had to raise a dispute with my credit card company. My bank has said they are looking at a 45 day turnaround on disputes so until then I am out of pocket. I shop online a lot, I have to say this is the single worst shopping experience I've ever had. I feel ripped off. My recommendations would be as the title says, avoid, avoid, avoid!!!! I have to say, it looks to me like this company is playing on Covid 19!! If they are so behind due to the crisis, then they should be stopping taking orders until such time as they can actually fulfil their existing orders. Basic business principles!! They seem to be cashing in with a great little excuse for their shambolic and virtually non existent customer service.

We ordered some succulents from this company..When they arrived they had just been thrown in a box without any packaging..They were out of their pots and in a dreadful state..Indeed 4 plants were already dead..No reply to my e.mails..this firm is disgraceful and I urge you not to use them..I am reporting them to trading standards...a total disappointment and a waste of money.

My plants arrived after my bank got involved and threatened to reclaim the £54 I paid.. Well I would not have paid £5 per plant the Clematis is almost dead, the climbing rose is on it's way out and the Honeysuckle is alive but pretty small for an £18 plant.

Avoid avoid avoid this company!! They will take your order and your money and then leave you waiting for weeks and weeks and weeks with the same automated emails about delays, no easy way of contacting them and when you finally do, another automated email. Unfortunately I didnt review them before ordering otherwise I would have discovered how shocking they are!

There is a possible way to claim your money back through your bank / building society using debit / credit card chargeback. If you paid via Paypal that would be much easier.

Place an order 30th May and it still has not been delivered. Cannot get a valid reply to my e mails. Just had a message to say it is all because of the coronavirus. I have been very patient although the extremely late delivery has caused me a lot of embarrassment as it was a birthday present. Can I have a refund please as I no longer trust the order to be delivered at all.Have to ask through here as you just ignore everything else. What a terrible way to run a business.

I have now sent over 100 emails and received a number of tier 1 automated emails stating - you are being referred to tier 2 hooray !!! I have also been told that the head plant guy must review the picture of the dead plant - I now refer to it as the Stick - NOT a beautiful Acer. I take it he has / she has to pronounce time of death or something like that. Guessing that no-one will view anything and the hope of a refund is totally ZERO. Please do not use this awful company - They are nothing more than a bunch of criminals, who will take your money and you will never hear from them again. Please do not think that what is on the website will in any way an example of what you may or may not receive some two months after ordering.

Waited 8wks for dead, rotting plants to arrive. Trying to contact customer services is a joke, fed up with being ignored, was finally offered a refund 4wks later. Was still waiting for refund to be paid 4wks after this! In desperation I got my bank to do a charge back to me. Will never shop here again
