“Beware bullying tactics if the credit card they have on file expires before renewal. You'll be strong-armed into renewing with them, or facing high fees (and debt collectors). I chose to pay the fees, rather than give more custom to a company of bullies.”

“The 1 star is for the price of the insurance, no stars for the rest, they asked for proof of ncd which I emailed, since then I have had 10 emails and 1 letter saying they are going to double my insurance as I haven't replied, they then asked for proof of no claims again and dob and postcode so after several attempts to send them it wouldn't let me, I've had to ask my son in law who is a computer wiz to do it, it took him over an hour to do it, I think they do it intentionally so they can charge you double, never again.????”

“Budget Insurance renewed my house insurance quote without letting me know. They sent a renewal quote to my email which was never received. I then checked my bank statements and to my dis pear found the whole amount for the cover had been automatically taken out of my account. I phoned up to say the quote was way too high and i did not want to continue with them. They then tried to charge me 30/35 for a cancellation fee? I argued this and the lady eventually went down to 15.00 but insisted I be charged. my partner has worked in insurance and knows that cancellation fees do not have to be charged and I was disgusted that this charge was taken and the whole policy amount was just taken.”

“I was victim in an accident, not my fault, budget couldn't understand I was reporting same for reference only and to obtain advice on what to do regarding the guilty party's insurance co. I also was not aware that Axa wrer the underwriters of my policy or I would not have bought. they have cheated before and did again by not insuring my courtesy car because my insurance policy value was less than needed to cover the car provided, unless of course I was claiming through them and then they could recover cost from guilty party, but I agreed to let their insurers repair my vehicle, whereby Axa didn't get the chance to dig their arm into the other party. leaving me with a banger of a courtesy car. I will never take out insurance that has anything to do with Axa.”
