Was in a very bad place with depression so did not pick up the automatic renewal and the fact that the price had doubled. Even supplied my GP details for confirmation. Contacted dial direct who have not yet responded.

We all want a cheaper insurance but what really counts is how they respond in an emergency Last year we needed them and they were there for us great customer care fast response and payment renewal with them again Thank you for being there for us

The sales person was not sure kept altering what I put on the comparison site will not be renewing with them. Also they have to many phone numbers you have to use iff you have to make a claim

2nd year iv used this company no issues at all good price and always try and be a bit cheaper than your previous year’s insurance. I’m always happy to save a few pounds where I can and as long as my insurance goes down I’m happy.

Had a home emergency where I had a leak. At first the response was great but when the engineer finally came in the evening, he diagnosed the hot water tank was leaking and the boiler was also faulty. I had no heating or hot water for 2 days.He and the insurance company were supposed to contact me the next day with the next steps but I never heard anything from them. I ended up getting this sorted myself. Will not renew with this company again

Not had to deal with a claim but a renewal increase of 20% is really poor. Insurance companies should be judged as everybody else would be.

I have had no problems with dialdirect although I haven’t had to claim. I rang up to check the renewal price and was very pleased with the new quote. I have a Very low excess as well.

I have no issues with Dial Direct, they have always been very helpful, and found me the best deal that is on offer at the best price, and the cover is also very comprehensive.

The person dealing with my request didn't come across well - I couldn't understand him very well. I've just changed my car for a newer but the same model and had to pay £145 extra - a little over the top for somebody who drives less than 4000 miles a year. I will certainly be looking for cheaper insurance when yours finishes.
