They actually kept my premium below my previous years premium with them ... All i wanted was fully comp cover at a price thats fair ... and they came through and I got just that ! Not had any need to contact their customer service - regardless of this they are worth taking a look at !

I wish I had read the previous reviews before committing to DialDirect. While the onboarding process to receive my funds was straightforward, I’m now having difficulties with very basic account changes. I changed my vehicle registration number, which is a reasonable update and did not involve any modifications to the vehicle, but their online system will not accept the change. I’m also trying to update my address after moving only a few buildings away, with the same — if not better — parking conditions, and again their online system will not allow me to make the change. I called their hotline, but the representative said she could not make the changes either and was unsure why, suggesting there may be something wrong with their system. As a result, I’m now stuck with a driving licence showing a different address from the one on my insurance, and a licence plate number that does not match the details on my profile. That is a very frustrating position to be in and they seem to be treating this as a new premium and there is from my perspective no change to my risk profile. I could also say more about the premium cost and the fact that my decades of no-claims history were not recognised because they were earned in another country, but that seems to be part of a broader issue. My main concern here is that even simple administrative changes are proving unnecessarily difficult.

Clear information on price increases/decreases, plenty of notice before renewal to enable price comparisons. I've had car insurance with them for 3yrs now, fully comprehensive includes RAC breakdown cover & during those years I've never paid more than £180 for cover, in fact my cover reduced by £50 in the 2nd year & only increased slightly this year. Good website easy to navigate & at this point in time I only have positive thing to say about Dial Direct.

Straightforward - reasonably priced, and, unusually, no increase, which is the usual scenario after a competitive first contract - use of another car not owned by myself is a potential rare bonus these days

The people I spoke to on the phone very nice but I did not have as good a time as last year, because of a mix up I thought I had paid the amount about the 5th February in one amount, but because I put down I did not wish to renew it next year, because I may not keep this car, the money was not taken out. I received a letter dated the 18th but received some days later about cancellation of my insurance, I contacted you on the 27th and sorted it out with on lump sum £1120.17 I noticed a few days later that the 1st payment I thought I had made was only £1076.54 I did send an email asking about the difference of £43 but did not receive a reply.

Staff always very polite. The quote finally agreed was much lower than comparison sites had provided. The Company promised to post all paperwork to me.
