Awful regarding claims process and lack of communication. Assigned Carpenters solicitors for a claim who never reply to emails or phone calls. Now being told my not at fault claim will be closed with zero compensation and I have to pay £375 in excess because the person who drove into the rear of my car has denied it despite exchanging details, photos and my medical record showing injury. Get told different things from dial direct and from Carpenters. Very poor and have left complaints but never responded to.

Instead of getting cheaper due to claim-free use, the premium is getting horrendously more expensive.

My policy was renewed automatically and the cost doubled, great way to look after your customers, will be cancelling of course, ridiculous way to run a business.

Been with this insurance company a while now but at the current price that won’t be continuing nxt yr, in 4 yrs my insurance has doubled meaning I have to look elsewhere in the future.

Dial Direct is a dishonest company. I agreed to a quote, called a week later to inform them that I'd decided to stay with my existing insurer. They debited my account for R1 943,30. When I called, they agreed to refund. They refunded R476,62. After I contacted them and included the complaints division, they refunded another R1278,42. What about the R188,26? What if I hadn't followed up after the initial R476 payment? How many others have they scammed like this? I had to insist on an email confirming the cancelation of the policy. DD is a bad faith insurer. Those minor payments they refuse to refund add up, so the smaller premium offered are not a problem. Imagine what happens if you need to claim?

needed to cancel my car insurance and was stunned paying £50 odd to do this how disgusting is that being a great customer with no claims i had everything breakdown no clims protection and had to pay this i will not be using you again or recommending anyone stay away people if you need to cancel they rob you

Had house insurance with Dial Direct. This year the price shot up by £1200 bringing the cost to £2470 . got another from Sainsbury's £595 which included extra cover. What's with ripping people off Dial Direct

Absolutely hopeless. Nothing works. Can't access anything via the account that you are forced to set up. None of this 'on-line' 'let's go paperless' stuff is any use whatsoever... I'm sure the insurance is fine but the system, like the NHS computers, police computers, airports blah blah are just so frustrating no doubt designed by 23 year olds during lockdown who play games all day and calculated to make company contact impossible. I despair.. off to the High Street (if it's still there.) Digital discrimination is real which is a shame as only us boomers (I'm 71 years old.)... have any money anyway as the UK slides down the plug hole.

I had home insurance with this company. Horrible experience. Made an honest claim and found loop holes not to payout. Will never ever insure with them again, will tell others. There defaqto rating is very low when it comes to payouts. My policy no: 134634595 just in case you was wondering who I am. Anyone do not my any claims with this company as they will find loop holes as to not payout. I’m with another company which has a defaqato rating of 5 stars. Doesn’t give me options to give it NO STARS.

Terrible insurance. Household and contents up by a third this year and if you ever try and make a claim everything is ruled out via the small print.

The increase in premiums - scandelous. Insurance companies are forcing retired people off the roads. Never have claimed and that is the support you get . You should be ashamed of yourselves.
