It took 5 months to send someone out to look at my claim to be told my claim was declined as the leak was prolonged!!!!! No communication from the company to let me know what the delay was, no contact from the company to explain why the claim was declined. Just a call from the loss adjuster to say it wasn’t approved. Poor customer service, no clear reason for the decline, now left with a load of damage I can’t repair!! Will not renew next time.

My insurance has gone up when I haven’t made a claim, the RAC roadside assistance doesn’t cover me when I’m outside my house and they wanted an additional £160 for one visit, I will be changing my insurer next year

Unhappy with phone I made. I'm not saying anymore as you won't do anything about it. I will not be renewing my insurance with you either.

Customer service fine as always...until my credit card came in . I found you have charged me twice for my car insurance ...not happy ...now I’ve paid my credit card bill, and told 5 working days before I get £178 refund . And of course that will show on next months statement. So this month I’m down £178 can’t check my refund has happened until after bank holiday. So don’t know if refund is in yet.

Windscreen Company you wanted me to use couldn't fix screen for nearly 3weeks. Not helpful when you need it for mot on a business vehicle. Would have cost me thousands in lost work to have vehicle off the road. Paid for a new screen myself and was fitted next day. Waste of time having glass cover .

I will never re-new my car insurance with you again as i told you in the survey you sent me before, because after renewal and being paid in full you decided that you had made a error with my policy, sorry that's is not my fault and in my opinion you should of stood by what you sold me

We put a claim in on 13th December our fridge had died it’s now March and still no fridge asking for receipts and photos two months after it broke ! Who keeps rotten food for photos !! Pitty it was auto renew they put it up £100 next year NOT A CHaNCE avoid like the plague

Asked for policy documents , never received , carried on policy without my notification taking money out of my account , no notification as to when policy ended etc

Absolutely wish I had never started a contract with Dial Direct. They call them selves customer service executives, which is hilarious. I wish they were as helpful and nice when they tried to get me to start my a contract with them. Every time I try to call them they take forever to answer and little did I know that when you take a business contract out you have no consumer rights! I have been unhappy from the start and I demanded for them to end my contract within a week of starting my new contract with them. I wish I had stayed with EE!!! Who are extremely helpful, and always pleased to hear from their customers, and will call back if you are accidentally cut off! Well those at Dial Direct do neither. Terrible terrible terrible!! I’m stuck in a 36 month contract and my network coverage is terrible, but hey who cares because I am stuck in a contract and receive messages mostly 2 days later. Not impressed.

update 6.1.2023 - the email provided by your incompetent agent was for a no claims discount department, I only realised when i got an automatic reply. They avoided giving me the correct information, they avoided giving me the procedure. disgusting. The actual complaints email is complaints@dialdirect.co.uk now i have sent a personal email to the wrong address, your advisors do not follow policy. Disgusting. Avoid this company, be aware of the small print when you need help from this company, they set you up on an auto renewal without your knowledge and then charge you £80 no matter what your personal circumstances are. Spoke to a very abrupt arrogant individual who showed no skills in customer service and refused to give me the procedure for making a complaint and refused to listen to my personal situation. Insurance policy cancelled and could therefore not be accessed online, i no longer have access to the email that was used to open the policy, there is no proof of written comms to me, no information given or accessible. Complaint being made to FSA and to NCD@dialdirect.co.uk avoid at all costs, there are better insurers who have better systems available and who will treat customers with a little bit of respect.. My advice it to just avoid them, they are arrogant aggressive out of touch & abrasively obnoxious to deal with.

Do not use this car insurer. They use several other companies to deal with their claims. I had an accident and needed repairs to the rear of my vehicle. This happened in October 22, it is now January 2023 and still no one has collected the car to even begin the repairs! They use enterprise rental car company as their middle man who obviously are making a fortune out Of renting replacement cars out and it’s in their interest to do that for as long as possible. All the while our (everyone’s) premiums go up. Enterprise have been useless and organising a repair company- total shambles. All companies are impossible to talk to and have 45 minute waiting times.

I have just received a letter from yourselves stating that my insurance premium will go up from £109 a month to £431! This was due to an oversight on my part where I forgot to disclose a claim that my named driver had in another vehicle not relating to this insurance. I called to take her off the policy and was told they could only reduce it to £305! Even your staff said that was extortionate! It leaves me no option but to cancel my policy and look elsewhere? I have been a loyal customer with you for over 6 years. Very disappointed
