My renewal date my card details had changed so I got a letter to say insurance is declined call before date to make payment or face cancellation, when I called to make payment he was so rude on the phone and started saying next time if you don't change your card details there will be a 20 pound chare which I am letting you off this time in a rude tone,I apologised but do you think it was worth 20pounds to talk me down,and another thing I have not received an email to say thank you for renewing and this payment is received.

Terrible took weeks for a claim to be settled actually 4 months in total all the time I glad a whole in my roof water coming in leading to further issues absolutely shocking service never to be used again

Not interested in helping if you have to make a claim. Didn't realise they are really just brokers and set up insurance with companies they know nothing about. Think that they can treat customers like this so if you're decide to cancel they charge extortionate amounts, still waiting over several weeks for a reply to my review on trust pilot...waste of time

Disgusting brokers with arrogant customer services. Literally forced to renew; despite explaining the policy no longer met my needs. Now telling me i owe them a cancellation fee, plus some imaginary admin fee. Never had such a dreadful experience with car insurance in 39 years of purchasing car insurance. Plenty of choice out there so take your business to an ethical company; rather that Dial Direct; wasters!

One of the worst companies I’ve ever been a customer for. I had to quickly change my debit card as mine was fraudulently used. I thought I was paying this company by D/D and only realised it was by Debit Card when they emailed me. I contacted them at my earliest opportunity to be told I would be subject to a late payment fee. After explaining my situation I was told that this was their policy but they would waiver the fee in this case. I’ve since contacted them again and was told it would be a day or 2 after my payment left my bank as it hasn’t registered in their accounts and, again, it’s company policy that I get a late payment fee. I am still waiting for my refund. they put your premiums up with no explanations (about £10 in the space of 5 years!!) and have no consideration for customers that have made a genuine mistake. I will never use this company and urge others not to go with them!!

What you say and what is cover...two different things. After my claim was unsuccesful yesterday and after Ive been with dail direct for more than 10 years.. i cancelled my policy

My car was stolen from my driveway in Early December. Provided all relevant details in my claim from the police etc. Got passed off to there underwriters called “Markerstudy”. What a nightmare from then on. Couldn’t contact the company from there provided email addresses, couldn’t reply to there txt messages I was receiving because they don’t accept txt msg’s. 11 phone calls over 3 months and I never waited less than an hour for somebody to answer and they could not tell me anything, just wanted more information. They don’t reply to any emails when I finally got a working address after complaining to Dial Direct. There online agent assistance waiting time was over 2 hours (Advertised as 10 minute average wait time) they then cut me off when I got to talk to an agent. Filed 2 official complaints with Dial Direct since January and they did nothing to help, just an email to say that my complaint had been logged and they would get back to me. They seamed more worried what my car looked like and how long I had lived at my premises. Just received notice from Dial Direct that my policy has been cancelled because of an unlisted modification that I know nothing about and that they have not explained what it is…WTF. Dial Direct and Markerstudy are running a scam as far as I am concerned, check out other review sights, 91% disapproval rating out of over a 1000 people reviews. I will be reporting them to the FCA ombudsman.

Absolutely satisfied with my Dial Direct renewell car insurance policy. The reduction for my renewell cover this year was reduced sufficiently, that i didn't need to search for (or compare) any alternative Insurance companies.

I would give zero stars if I could Do not deal with this company No response to emails or calls No empathy to claim after being burgled Dragged out the claim in the hope that I would give up I suspect

Terrible experience would never bother to waste my time again put on hold 3 times who ever I was dealing with was about as much help as a chocolate teapot took my business to Adrian flux in the end insurance all sorted completely different and professional

If I could leave less than a 1 star I would, customer service is disgusting & I will never ever use them again!!! Lost a loyal customer there....hope your £20 fee was worth it!!!!!

Never get through on the phone email and no reply just shocking, policy has renewed and wanted to make changes not able to do online, next year I am cancelling my card and got elsewhere complete lack of customer service.

Absolutely exceptional service. Paying for a car that I can’t use for 4 months now. Car effectively stolen by insurers as I didn’t know where it was until yesterday. Minor damage but car written off. Trying to get car back. Passed to different companies. Haven’t received my claim compensation either. Hire car taken off me so paying almost £100 a month for no car. Great insurance.

Awful. Charged me £30 for a failed collection. Was set up to renew automatically annually. The card expired 1 month before the 3rd years annual payment was due. They knew the expiry date and failed to tell me. Maybe they deliberately let it happen so they could make more money. Letter arrived, not advising me of a problem, but billing me. I phoned them. Cancelled. Paid their fee. Then 2 weeks later got a letter demanding £20 cancellation fee for immediate payment, or it goes to debt collector. Heavy handed shady outfit. Beware
