“Decent service but can’t understand after 3 years receiving my car insurance with no claims why it increases every year by roughly £400 ….if I cancelled my insurance and registered as a fresh customer my insurance amount would be a 3rd of what it is now ?”

“Satisfied with everything but one main thing, I requested my paper work as in Northern Ireland you cannot tax your car without your certificate of insurance, post offices here do not let you show a copy of it on your phone! Still have not received my requested papers!”

“We had a blocked kitchen drainage over the weekend and tried to contact Dial Direct who first told me they couldn’t validate my account despite providing address, policy number etc. After calling repeatedly, I was given the Home emergency assist number. Before that, I was given several other numbers which again lead to the main contact number on the policy. When I finally got the home emergency assist direct line, an automated voice told me they are closed weekends and to hold if it is an emergency. I did several times but the call gets cut off after 20 seconds every time. I did this all day on Saturday hopeless and without a functional kitchen. I had no choice but contract a trades person which cost me £260. If they don’t work on weekends, how is that an emergency assist?? Emergencies don’t wait till offices are open. I can’t believe I am paying for nothing!!! I will definitely request refund of the £260 I paid.”

“Hi.I would like to let you know that I am not HAPPY WITH MY RENEWAL PRICE. FROM ££150 to £208 I think that is a massive rise from Last year. And to be honest I was so shocked I am finding it very hard to pay that much now. And will be actively looking for cheaper cover. Apart from this massive price rise I was really happy NOT HAPPY NOW”

“I have been with dial direct for two years now , the price beat all there competitors, doing it on line was no problem, I have not had anything to claim for so cannot speak about this but hopefully everything will be ok if I do, hopefully I won’t have to.”

“Difficult to get phone contact Accepted quote - had confirmation - then emails re payment failed! eventually able to speak with someone - re did payment ( with extra charge!) only to then get a letter saying payment failed ! Got thro on phone ……again & all ok !!!!”
