Difficult to get phone contact Accepted quote - had confirmation - then emails re payment failed! eventually able to speak with someone - re did payment ( with extra charge!) only to then get a letter saying payment failed ! Got thro on phone ……again & all ok !!!!

Are proffesional in the way they deal with you. Asked for paperwork instead of email and no problem was only approximately £12 difference versus online comparisons so decided to stay with them very happy thus far.

Superb value 👌 had no problems when I needed to renew my policy all done for me , and I think customer who stay with dial direct get noticed with loyalty care recommend to my family and friends 👍

Have been insured with Dial Direct for about 9 years never wanted to change always polite and very helpful on the very few occasions I have needed to contact them. Very fair price and ideal cover for our needs

Premium is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Service is really poor. COMMUNICATION: Impossible to get through on the 'phone without waiting at least 15 minutes. And it is extremely difficult to find an email address (contact@dialdirect.co.uk). When using the email to correct an error on a renewal quote, the revised package came back with the same error. The Live Chat is awful. It picks up a word from the question a User has entered and replays a series of possible responses related to that word, none of which had even a remote link to my question. It is NOT "Live". It is an automated "robot". SERVICE: The service was so bad, I gave up trying to make a claim that was just a little more than my excess. Whilst the underwriters (Markerstudy) are a separate company, from a customer's perspective Dial Direct are responsible for administering all motor insurance issues. The underwriters were even more difficult to contact than Dial Direct (several 20 minute waits on the 'phone before I gave up). When I finally gave up and emailed Dial Direct to give up my claim, Markerstudy still called me 2 weeks later, apparently unaware I had given up the claim. RECOMMENDATIONS: As there is only me and my partner on the policy and hence a low probability of having to make a claim next hear, I have gambled on Dial Direct for another year as the premium is cheap. If there were a few family members on the policy with a much higher chance of having to make a claim, the service is so poor I would definitely find another insurer.

The premium is definitely cheap. But you get what you pay for. Customer service is virtually non-existent, so much so I gave up making a claim as the value was only just a little more than my excess. I always had to wait more than 15 minutes on the phone, and often gave up. It is almost impossible to find an email address (contact@dialdirect.co.uk). When I used it to try and correct an error on my policy, the same error was repeated, leading to 2 more failed phone calls and another email. The live chat function is useless - it picks up a word you have used in your question and replays standard answers that may be related to that word. None of the answers were remotely related to my issues Following an accident, after providing all the details in a long call with Dial Direct, I was passed on to the underwriters where I had to repeat everything. Whilst the underwriter is a different company (Markerstudy), I expect seamless service, and hold Dial Direct responsible for the claim handling process. The service from the underwriter was even worse - at least a 20 minute wait on the phone every time. As stated earlier I gave up through exhaustion and high phone bills. Dial Direct are cheap however - so I have gambled with them for another year as I reckon the chances of making a claim are low, so I will not have to deal with their Customer Service. If I had multiple drivers on my policy, and hence more chance of having to make a claim, I would steer well clear.

I am with dial direct for the past five years, this year i added another vehicle. In August 2022, i claimed for the second vehicle, they have paid the service provider, but my vehicle is not yet fixed. I lodge complaints i get acknowledgements, but complaint not attended to. I removed one of the vehicles because of their service. Very Good insurer, but once you lodged a claim, they don't care how the service provider treats you. You just become a policy number and a client.

This is my second year with Dial Direct. Good competitive price excellent cover and optional extras are a good competitive price too. I would definitely recommend Dial Direct insurance company.
