Extremely good customer service I had my boiler stopped working when I called the response was very good and quick I am impressed with the service that’s why I stayed with them same last year I had couple of issues my toilet wasn’t flushing they came and fixed it I am well impressed I will stay with them

Renewed with these guys for the 4th year now, always helpful on the phone, competitive price wise, never has to claim as yet so cannot give a comment on that process, I will continue to stay with DD for my car insurance for the foreseeable future. Cheers Roy...

After a number of years of covering my parents house they will not do it this year due to a man made subsidence problem that was dealt with over 20 years ago and was dealt with by our other insurance company and sorted out. It is not a recurring problem and they knew about this when they took us on. No help with what we can do next and left my parents home uninsured and worthless. Considering the other problems i am dealing with at the moment I could really do without.

Would recommend Dial Direct for contents insurance.Was given a cheaper price on renewal with extra benefits.Spoke to a lovely young man from Sunderland who couldn’t have been more helpful.

Rip-oof merchants! Increased price of cover under claim of a fake 'incident' which never happened. Then increased the premiums even more when due to renew. When I emailed to say I didnt want to renew with this shower of charlatans, they went ahead and renewed anyway - and no doubt would have tried to coerce me to pay them even more money as a 'penalty' for 'cancelling' when I had made clear I didnt want to renew. They didnt even deign to repluy to my email. On top of all that, the one time I needed their breakdown cover, the fact that I had to limp the car home to find my insurance and breakdown details gave them the perfect excuse NOT to provide that breakdown cover so that I had to shell out another £60 to get the help I needed. They are a bunch of crooks - dont buy!!!

Find them to be good but I have had an experience which was not great. Mid last year I put a second driver on my insurance as I needed his help for a short time. In September 2020 I phone and asked that he be taken off. I was told that it would be done but I would have one premium to pain and then the insurance would reduce. However, 2 months later it had not charged. I phoned and spoke to a very unhelpful woman and I am not the most PC person so after some time the called was ended with the problem being esculated. I was tols that they could find no record of my call and instructions to remove the second driver. However, my phone shows that I was on the phone to the company for 2 min 8 sec. They refused to return the overpayments.
