“My car insurance increased by 30% which was a shock. Dial direct used to apply some discount but on this occasion decided they couldn’t. Disappointed loyal customer.”

“Had house insurance with Dial Direct. This year the price shot up by £1200 bringing the cost to £2470 . got another from Sainsbury's £595 which included extra cover. What's with ripping people off Dial Direct”

“I've had my car insurance with Dial Direct for several years now. I've never had to make a claim (fortunately) so can't comment upon how they would handle that. However, I've always found their website and paperwork easy to understand and any time I've had the need to ring them I've been dealt with promptly and in a professional, but friendly, manner. When it was time to renew I rang around but found that they were competitively priced.”

“My quote was reasonable but wife's quote was poor so she left for a better deal. Multi car insurance is something that dial direct should cater for and would help keep customers. I will probably leave next year for a multi insurance policy”

“Been with DD for years - no issues, no claims, price always been reasonable compared to the market comparisons. This year went up by 35% ish - no claims etc etc. Phoned and managed to get a whopping 5% off the renewal price (which worked out just slightly under those elsewhere). But shouldn't have been stitched up by such an extent. Will give myself more time next year to look around properly and go elsewhere.”
