Generally very good BUT unless your battery has screw type terminals you will need to arrange for an engineer visit or ask your local mechanic to fit for you unless you are a car buff. More detailed instructions could help!!

Was very very disappointed with smart miles and would never recommend them. Went through the questionnaire on I phone as best that's possible using this method. Was accepted, then later told I was mot allowed insurance as I had withheld information. I offered to rectify the mistake but wasn't allowed to. Other insurance company's thought this very bad customer service. I am still waiting for my 'full amount' refund and am appalled to find I have to pay an opt out fee when this was no fault of my own. Disgraceful service!!!!!

Hi, I'm sorry to hear we could not keep the cover running and appreciate your frustration. On occasion if there are key details missing it may meant a quote would not have been offered as the product isn't suitable and therefore we have no other option but to discontinue cover ~Joe?

Very easy to get in contact with, hardly any waiting on hold, good help with any questions, cheap insurance and i would recommed to friends & family

I have cancelled this insurance, on Monday. I do not wish to Renew this insurance. It has been cancelled!!!!!

1. iPhone SE: app won't login at all 2. S7 Edge: changing to "Journeys" section often logs you out of app. App crashes frequently. The graph shows no progression. 3. Speed rating remains below average despite strictly sticking to the speed limit.

I was looking for insurance for myself and my daughter. And Hastings looked like the ideal company, the service from telematics was exceptional (smartbox suppliers). However the customer service is shocking at Hastings. I phoned to ask a couple of questions about my policy and the woman called Holly I think was extremely rude. She talked over me, and didn't listen to what I was asking. She's didn't accommodate me or help me with my policy and when I had started crying she talked even louder over me. I then cancelled my policy because she's hadn't listened to what I said tried to add a ?700 premium. The terms and conditions she stated on the phone where different to the ones I have on file so I'm glad to get away from them. Hope you all think twice before going with Hastings - complete waste of time.

You have sent me a smartmiles box which is not compatible with my car. My car is newish car and has many devices attached to the car battery which is incased in a frame with no place to put the box. The battery has a cover which is screwed to the car covering the battery secured in a box compartment with little room for a box to be fitted. You obviously don't check cars registrations to see if their car is compatible before you take money from people who just want car insurance cheap as it can be.
