I’m awaiting a refund from 25/9. Despite numerous phones calls, over 10 emails, then finally speaking to a human I was promised a refund as 5 amounts were taken from my account. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY, NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH ON THEIR PROMISES, NEVER CALL BACK OR REPLY TO CUSTOMERS. TAKE PEOPLES MONEY THATS ALL YOU DO!!! Wonder what what happen if I owed five payments to you. Absolute joke

Disgusting service receive insurance forms don’t acknowledge them, ask for information that is not actually a real thing , don’t raise complaints, managers don’t take calls , cat died don’t give a monkeys , very very expensive —THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED DO NOT USE

Really poor insurance company. Accepted me for life insurance then rejected me 3 month later even though I was completely honest on my application. Avoid at all cost they're not worth it. Go with someone else.

Trying to get paper forms for ISAs for elderly relatives. Couldn't find up to date forms online. Phoned their line to ask me to send the forms. Waited in queue for 30 minutes before giving up. Tried a few days later. Quoted 25 minute wait, so hung up.

Extremely disappointed. My mum who is a pensioner had a severe leak in her house in April. 4 months on she is still no closer to having the repair work completed. She is living without a working kitchen in a damp house which is basically a building site. The builders left sacks of rubble out side the front of the property for over a month, a storm caused them to blow over near the front door causing her to fall and break a finger. She has had numerous phone calls with no success and no estimate to when the work will be completed. I am shocked that anyone can treat a pensioner this way, let alone an insurance company. Completely disgraceful.

Have had building and contents insurance with legal and general for a few years now. Have never made a claim and never missed a payment. Came home today to find water leaking from my kitchen ceiling, want sure where it was coming from. A friend climbed up and had a look at the roof from a ladder, he could see there was broken slates and holes letting in water. There was a bad storm here on the 12th of august which I thought was maybe the cause. Called legal and general to discuss the process of having it looked at. The advisor said I did have building and contents insurance with them and that I would need to talk through a claim form with him which was fine. I was asked the date of the storm and was then put on hold, after about 5 minutes on hold the advisor came back on the phone and said they couldn’t do anything about it as he had checked the internet for storms in my area but there had been none?????? I informed him there most certainly was, a bad storm that was reported everywhere, there was cars floating down streets, trees blown over, multiple homes damaged but he said as he hadn’t found anything on the internet it couldn’t be true so closed the claim???? Wouldn’t even send someone out to look at it to confirm the damage!!! Don’t believe what I have just heard from this absolute shower Of charlatans!!!!! Please please stay away from this company if you want to get insurance to protect your property!!!!! Just for reference a quick type into google shows the severity of the storms including pictures and news articles! Extremely angry!!!

Dad has Stage 4 Cancer- he has been given less than 12 months to live. L&G refuse to pay out. Whereas Aviva have. Dad has paid the policy for 9 years. Absolutely disgusting in my parents time of need. Press or L&G contact me on wilkinsonlowe @ yahoo . Co . Uk

Pet Insurance claim ……… nearly 3 months and still an issue ...….my vet sent the claim form 3 times ….. I've sent the claim for 5 times …. each time I have to chase …. each time they claim form not received ….. the form has even been sent on L&G own secure email service …….very poor service, no ownership, absolute joke !!! Cant mark less than 1 star else I would

LGF are the worse insurance company, a water flooding claim was made in February 2020, left the home owner without heating or hot water for over 6 months and homeless. LGF have ignored all correspondence but made a fake Police welfare check against the claimant, they have caused extreme distress, forcing further action and a social media documentary on the aversions against the claimant

Legal & General have supplied our house & contents insurance without claim and was £19.83 per month This year it’s gone up to £ 48.33 per month without any notice The first notice we received was the sum coming out of our Bank account Needless to say we have contacted Legal & General to cancel and have not heard nothing back to date Next e mail to the ombudsman no doubt So be careful on your renewal it appears they think it’s an opportunity to give a loyal customer a reward by doubling their cost to insure and no notifications absolute joke This is unfortunately our experience 🤔would we use them again ☹️ You know the answer !!!

the only reason I looked for new insurance is because I moved house and I tried to update my address by calling them. I was told after being on the phone for an hour that they could not do this and I would have to wait for a call back. This takes up to 5 days. I didnt get a call back so I cancelled my insurance and took out a new one with them again. this is very poor customer service and I only went with them again due to them coming up the cheapest.

I took out a one year annual holiday policy April 19. I booked my holiday flights pre Covid. The flights were not cancelled departing 18th March so I had to go otherwise lose all of the money. My return flights were cancelled after I got there with no explanation. It cost me a lot to get back. When I claimed they said I wasn’t covered for Covid because the flights were during the Covid pandemic. They are more than happy to take your money and happier still not paying out. I recommend not using this company or Allianz the parent underwriter. In fact I wouldn’t use these brands for anything. Totally dissatisfied and definitely not trustworthy.

Iv been waiting 2 months now for them send me the money over for my claim for my dog.and today I call them, they have received the claim form.and they are trying there best to get out of paying life time cover for my dog who has epilepsy,I am very upset and will be taking this further if things don’t get sorted out.

For over six months I have being trying to talk to a 'person' about my pension options. On numerous occasions I have been promised phones calls and received none. This despite my earlier complaints. Today, as before, I have sat by my phone at the appointed time for over half an hour and have heard no ring. Only then to find three miss calls. Very strange when I have been listening to my phone for over half an hour! Be warned Legal and General customer service is appalling and verging on being dishonest! How their website displays a three and a half star customer rating is beyond me!

Absolutely horrendous trying to get into there website, taken over 2 weeks of calls and receiving letters with details of what to do to access the website which don't work. When calling them you have to listen to the same 2 minute IVR telling you the same message about Covid19 delays. It is laughable because if they made their website user friendly they would be getting less calls. It is a joke that a company the size of L&G have such a terrible online presence/service!!!
