“mce are a disgrace you try and claim for a bike that was stolen they make you feel like you are the criminal they are not very understanding and then when you have made a claim they except your renewal and then you pay the first instalment over the phone then they ring 2 days later to ask you more questions and say we can not insure you and want to charge me the deposit for cancelation but I never cancelled it they cancelled it I am in my 60s and never been refused anything never been in trouble and now I have this because my bike was stolen they talk to you like you don't matter and no one cares disgusting the way they treat people they might be cheap until you try and make a claim be warned”

“Can’t get in touch with this company at all to sort an issue phone lines are down and their chat is offline leaving me unsure whether or not I’m insured or not still terrible company”

“Absolute garbage - tried to contact via phone for over 30 minutes on two occasions with no success. Went on to live chat and it is offline. They say they have a defacto 5 star rating - this cannot be true. MCE insurance should NOT be allowed to use GOCOMPARE or any other websites and shame on time if they continue to allow them to remain in their insuranc search recommendations DO NOT GO NEAR 'MCE INSURANCE' AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY AND BUSINESS - If I could I would have given them a minus five (-5) rating which I beli be the CEO and board members need to do something about!!!”

“Unable to get through on the phone. Both times on hold for over 1 hour. Totally unexceptionable and gave up. No problem with you taking my money on line though.”

“Literally Doubled my premium upon renewal. Had to compare online to make a dent in the renewal... "there is a discount for online" is a VERY poor defense for trying to legitimately rob me of over £250 - especially to a customer of the last few years with various bikes. 25 years old, 7 years no claims... premium only increases each year... not just MCE - all these companies take existing customers for complete idiots upon renewal.”

“Everything was wrong, I was quoted around £250 to insure my motorcycle, I asked for the quote to be saved on the system and I’d then call back after my payday. I then received a further theee or four calls and each time I asked not to be called again. Finally when I had been payed and my renewal was actually due I was quoted almost £700! Which obviously came as a shock to me. Eventually I just did a quote with yourself a online and bought that for around £350 because I couldn’t be bothered with the aggro anymore. I don’t see how you can ask for £700 for a person with four years no claims discount and a mediocre motorcycle it is absurd.”

“Waited 5 hours for a call out was in the rain and cold couldn’t go to work as was not fix was cold and wet been told it was an easy fix I brought the parts to repair still not working”

“Had accident on my bike, not my fault, MCE won't deal with my claim as MCE don't deal with No Fault Claims and I have to use their Solicitors which is going to cost me up to 25% of my Claim. Also had to pay for my bike to be recovered and delivered back to my address. As I have fully Comp Insurance I thought I was covered and my insurance company would fight my case and recover all my losses, but this is not the case with MCE. AVOID THIS INSURANCE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!”

“Renewed my insurance yesterday online. Have been with the company a good few tears now. I realised the postcode was wrong on the policy where I store my bike. Rang up to get this changed and was charged an extra £30 for the inconvenience. This will be the last money you get off me. Being a loyal customer doesn't seem to count for much these days.”

“MCE are thieves. They are highly experience at scamming people and nothing else. They are refusing to give my bike ( property ) back. They do no respond to telephone calls and keep putting you on hold for more then an hour. I have wasted money and time with them. If you have a 125 DO NO GET MCE they will SCAM you. They have no professionalism, worst insurance company in the UK.”

“Rip off merchants. Only reason I’m using you again is because I don’t plan to claim if something happens to my bike. Ridding someone of a 10k motorcycle and leaving them to pick up the pieces because of no more than a technicality is ruthless. Deliberate or Reckless misinterpretation is an untrue statement with no evident behind it. Shame you aren’t better scrutinised.”

“Insured my bike on the 28th September, using the companies portal uploaded my no claims proof. 1 week later found out my bike is not insured, no contact from the insurance company. Also found out the upload portal keeps failing when trying to upload my no claims proof. I'm working abroad so phoning mce is extortionate.”

“Paid big deposit for fully comp insurence then when i was hit by unisurd driver whom never stopped at scean that was 2 years ago and still fighting my case very annoyed with mce”
