“I get quote with good price from them but unfortunately when I phoned them and told my car was write off as cat C in 2016 they said not going to insure my car. I insuring car with others insurance providers without any problems. Zero stars for policy expert”

Hi Marius, Thanks for getting in touch. I am sorry to hear your vehicle was previously written off. Unfortunately, this is not something our insurers can cover as it is out with their criteria required to provide cover due to previously written off vehicle being considered a higher risk. “saved quite a bit of money on my existing renewal with a number of additional bits of cover added for free - or so it seemed in the quote. after buying and checking my policy it looks as if some of the add ons in the quote have not been included as promised so now I have to contact them and check and - presumably - pay extra if I want them.”

“When my home insurance was up for renewal I did a price comparison and Policy Expert came up high on the list and I got Legal Assistance as standard. When I rung up to check out a few details the rep (Doug) could not have been more helpful and answered all my questions. We arranged for him to call back once I had a chance to come to a decision and he was as good as his word he called me back at the time specified and was happy to clarify further questions. I have now take out a new Policy with Policy Expert. I always dread renewing my household insurance but this time round I found the process a lot less stressful thanks to the patience and thoughtfulness of Doug. Helen”
