“Policy expert offered the most cover for the most reasonable premium. I have never made a claim on this or any house insurance so cannot comment on service at that level, which would be the real test review. I did read other reviews before purchasing a policy with PE, none were claimants, only policy purchasers. I did look Policy Expert up to see if they rated well among other insurers on line. It appeared that they do, so felt reassured enough to purchase a policy with them.”

“Really easy to input info and get quote. Included great extras that’s others didn’t such as legal protection. Only comment is could be improved with own app to access documents rather than having to log in on net.”

Good Evening, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. It is common for insurers to have a slightly higher excess for perils such as the escape of water and subsidence. This is just due to the nature of these claims. However, if you feel your standard excess is too high, this can always be amended, as this excess would be selected by our policyholders. Our specialist claims handlers ensure that our claims process is fixed so that all claims are handled fairly and in line with the policy terms and conditions. After speaking with Trinity claims, it has been established that your claim does not fall within the insured cover limits of our policy.
