Have buildings and contents insurance with Quotemehappy. Price was cheap but don't expect help from them when you need it. If you do need any help which doesn't fit into their neat little boxes you will have to email a question and wait a couple of days for a reply which I have done. Answer comes back in general terms and does not answer the question. Send another request and wait another couple of days and so it goes on. Will definetly not use this company again.

Absolutely dreadful company, they asked for further proof of NCD by text while in a separate email cancelled my car insurance as of midnight. The proof they had been sent was accurate and could have been dealt within 30 seconds if they offered any sort of human interaction. If you're happy dealing with a website that only answers the questions they have chosen to ask then use them. Just be warned that you're screwed if they then ask you for additional information that their website then doesn't allow you to process.

How dare they call themselves an Insurance Company, take your money and get no service. Trying to verify a Home Insurance claim, spent two days and over an hour on my mobile with no joy. Will not renew my policy for what its worth!!!!!!!

The website is dysfunctional, defaulting to car insurance when I click home insurance. Claims telephone never answered. I shall not be renewing as if one had to make a claim there would be no means of making contact

if you never need to contact them then they are great. But trying to contact them they are the worst, no one to speak to, you've got to email them and that takes up to 48 hours for a response, when you could sort it over phone within minutes. absolute joke would never go with again, DO NOT USE THEM its not worth the hassle of dealing with them.

Very bad service. They confirmed they had amended their own mistake after removing 2 years from my NCD for a claim I never made. This was never done and the NCD certificate stated 0 years. Of course you cannot speak to anyone in real time but hope you will receive an email response within 48 hours. Still waiting for this issue to be resolved.

Absolute farce getting proof of NCD to them when buying a policy. Keep refusing asking for more info which is clearly on the forms provided. In the end I cancelled the policy and went to a reliable company

Have no words for this company!!!!the worst experience ever. They’ve cancelled my partners policy as what they said the ncd proof is blurry and they can’t see it - as we were uploading on the app we tried on their website for a change to find out 2 days later that the policy have been cancelled even we uploaded no claim discount twice. What a nightmare !!! Now I’m going to fight to get our deposit back as I can see this is the way they work !!!! Absolute disaster!!!!!

DO NOT INSURE. Low standard of service , from communicating (lack of), to interaction with unsympathetic staff. Referred to legal representatives Carpenters (the phrase " ambulance chasers " could be synonymous ) totally unhelpful. I'm left out of pocket with no transport , stressed due to their unhelpfulness. CUSTOMERS as people are not a priority.

DO NOT INSURE WITH THEM.Service terrible, (as stated by other reviews),won't help, can't speak to anyone and Carpenters there legal team are ambulance chasers. Left with no car totally inconvenienced. NO HELP AT ALL. Going to speak to the financial ombudsman and make a complaint.

Absolutely appalling. Because of a difference in the name of the policyholder and that on the proof of NCD, they cancelled my wife's car insurance. One was in her own name, and the other in her married name. No matter how many times I tried to explain, their chatbot could not understand. Even phoned the patent company, Aviva, but they could not help. So now my wife's insurance is cancelled and she gets charged a 50 pound admin charge for the privilege. My advice-avoid them like the plague.

yr a nightmare ,, i cannot get a link to change my password as i have forgotten it ,, and when y do get in ,,and want to change the password it asks for your old one ,, WHAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND I HAVE FORGOTTEN IT ,, AND YOU DO NOT SEND A LINK

Absolutely terrible,emailed company on several occasions trying to get proof of ncb,still no luck to date,my new insurance provider consequently cancelled our insurance as we could not prove ncb earned,absolutely outraged,DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

They would not pay out for water damage (£1.450.00) despite buildings & contents cover. The first two insurance companies I tried when I cancelled Quote me (un)happy, would have paid out under exactly the same circumstances.

Appalling! I've inadvertantly been with this company for 5 years as they advise you they'll be renewing and then take your money within hrs of that renewal email. The price has gone up and up ( of course) but I've just taken a deep breath and thought, well at least I'm covered and I'll remember to change insurers next time...I've never had to claim so I've been under the total illusion that if I did, all would be well. However I've now spent 2 totally frustrating days trying to login to my account to change my car details, only to find I can't access it using my correct email (on screen- not actually speaking to anyone of course!) - and ,just as others have- not being able to get in. Screen said that I will be locked out after 5 attempts but doesn't give you any indication of how many tries you've had- or even whether it's working and whether the information you've put in has gone through. Tried to reset my password- it said at the top of the screen to follow the link on the reset email- which has never arrived. Unable to contact them as there is no direct customer service email and when you follow those 'need further help'links, they bring up a barrage of generic answers- all of which require you to log into your account first- which I can't do! No other options to contact them- it is unbelievably frustrating. I am so glad that I haven't had to claim, as I really don't know what I would have done. I've had to take out insurance with a different provider ( with an actual call centre ) so that I know I'm actually covered for my new car and I'm cancelling my insurance with Quotemehappy as theirs is now for the wrong car, which I can't change! As my husband said 'Is anyone there? Do you think they've gone bust?'I might even get a response from them but I'm not holding my breath.....Do Not underestimate the importance of having a person you can actually talk to, when taking out insurance and a system you can actually access. There is a reason why this company has over 50% one star reviews.

I, myself am experiencing the EXACT same issue as the one posted below (15hours ago). I have been around the world trying to speak with someone that can cancel my policy as, as above, with all the correct password/username cannot gain access to my account. They have auto renewed my insurance, but have spoke to my bank and nothing has come out. I am so annoyed that I even joined this horrendous insurance company. having Speaking to the world and it’s wife, I have decided to take on another insurer, whilst I wait for Quotemehappy to eventually respond via email. I’m beginning to think this is a scam? I don’t know, just I never once changed my login details and every time I try to log on > to cancel my policy it shows “Error connecting to server, Ssl has occurred” this has been happening continuously. Seriously avoid this place at ALL COSTS!
