“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They sent me a FAULTY BLACK BOX which I’ve contacted them numerous times about and still I have been emailed 4 times being threatened that they will cancel my policy. I don’t drive fast or dangerous I have no reason to lie about fitting the black box and have evidence I’ve tried contacting them countless times, can never actually speak to a human and when you do they don’t help at all. They cancelled my policy this morning costing me money because I can’t get to work without insurance due to being self-employed. I’ve given them around £600-700 so far since joining them, just to be ignored.”
“Do not use this company. Impossible to get through to them, on their online (only) communications. Could not log in, pressed their 'trouble logging in' - button and an automatic response says, they have locked your account because there were 'too many incorrect attempts' - this message pops up even when you have made zero attempts and just hit 'T.L.I'. then nothing happens, no option to reset a password. This automatic response popps up whether you tap, 'forgot my password', 'forgot my log-in', makes no sense and does not lead you onto anywhere... I have had my no claims certificate, need to upload this but simple cannot log in, now they've canceled my policy and I have no way of contacting them. Complete nightmare, waste of my time and now I have to find new insurance whilst I have paid for a whole year with quote me happy - shocking and designed to screw you over. Nothing happy about this experience.”
“I have been with them for five years. Had two accidents, one which wasn’t my fault. The communication was excellent by email. First time, my car was collected quickly. I’m was kept up to date with everything.
On the second accident, the money was paid out in less than two weeks. Everything was straight forward.

“This company is a joke. It has taken three weeks for someone to come and assess the damage and six weeks to get paid out for my car that was written off in an accident. All through this time I have had no hire car provided despite this being part of my policy and communication with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. The stress of trying to get answers, information and action from them has aged me at least 10 years. I have made two complaints directly to the company and heard nothing back. They are useless! Avoid them at all costs. I have changed my insurer and will never use them again. Not happy!!!”

They seem unable to carryout a simple request and keep requesting the same so called security information over and over again .. Taken that my original email is in thread and I have now supplied the requested information at least 3 times. No faith in this company and will certainly not use them again ..”

There under writers are aviva a large company but quote me happy decide if you can claim or not without even coming out to look at any damage have to lay money out yourself for servey reports which cost hundreds of pounds
I wonder if aviva know they are giving them a bad name in the insurance industry they take your money but don't want to know when you have a problem so be careful before you think about laying money out to insure with this company cheap isn't always the best they offer cheaper quotes but don't deliver on service. “I’ve been with QMH for years and had cheap simple service on line. Not sure how long I can stay though.
Having recently had my car stolen the claim has been a nightmare. I’ve repeatedly been told lies about the car being repaired when it was in fact still waiting for collection from the police recovery contractor. I’ve been promised call backs and never received them and trying to get to speak to someone involved waiting for up to 48 minutes time after time.

“Avoid at all costs ive been insured with quote me happy for three years and all is fine untill you need to claim my car was hit by the third party non fault claim the damage was minor damaged on the rear offside wheelarch...Solus estimated the damage via photo's at £3,000 and said my car is only worth £2,000 and said they are writing it off, bearing in mind the cost of the repair has to be 50% more than the cars value so conviently it was £3,000. Yesterday the 3rd november i took it for a 2nd and 3rd assesment to two insurance accredited garages and was quoted £200 and £230 for the same work i rang quote me happy and apparently my and the other two bodywork repair garages opinion doesn't matter and if i continue with my claim my car will be written off so i have closed the claim and now have to pay for the repairs myself...and the quote me happy customer service was quite rude i wont be renewing my policy and neither will my son the cheapest isn't always the best”
