Avoid this company- awful experience and stressful as they don’t care. Online self service is useless and the 24hour response delay if you seek help is not satisfactory at all.In desperation I’ve insured elsewhere with a 2 months left on my policy. Can’t take the lack of customer care. Please just avoid them 😱

I cancelled my policy within the 14 days of renewal yet they still took the full year's renewal out of my bank account. I tried logging into my account but they replied my details were not recognisable despite giving my policy number too. Thus permanently locked out of my account and they do not send the email promised to reset my password (despite using the password I originally used to register the account). This is a dreadful firm to deal with and they automatically take your renewal out of your account on your debit bank card since they do not have direct debits that their customers can cancel. AVOID THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS!

Avoid at all costs! I am in the process of a claim and Quote Me Happy are useless. You cannot speak to anyone, it's all done via email or 'Live Chat' which is appalling. When you have an accident there are many moving parts, lots of companies involved; repairers, courtesy cars, 3rd parties, etc lots of questions. You cannot speak to a human being. I spent 1 hour talking on Live Chat messaging just to have the message window disappear then had to re connect to someone else who wanted to know everything again. Utter shambles mate! Best bit was they wanted me to wait 1 month to get my car repaired at one of their garages... so they could pocket the excess! Avoid these guys at all costs.

It took 3 years to settle a straight forward claim and make the required repair (that ultimately became far worse due to the delay). Complaints were ignored and the claim only settled after the involvement of the FOS.

AVOID! TERRIBLE COMPANY Terrible company to go with have not issued my refund for my car insurance during the 14 day cool off. I have now had to take this with the Ombudsman, have written to them 5 times saying I should of recieved it that's it! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

I had a good experience with Quotemehappy in the past year I haven't claimed so I'm not sure how it's with the claim I loved them app, it is easy and useful Unfortunately, they gave me a high quote so I left them for the next year

Reported an accident, got back a claim notification by email, nothing happened after that. Called to ask how to make a claim, and been told to do on line, useless. Paid for repair out of my own pocket. Think carefully before you click to buy.

Involved in a no fault accident, had to fill out a webform at the side of the road to report the accident (wasn't able to call anyone straight after the crash). My car was taken away a few days later and after that I've heard nothing from them. Tried to contact over the phone just to keep getting cut off, they never respond to emails. The webchat is useless the agents seem to have less of a clue what's going on than I do; just standard canned answers to everything and never getting back to you. The hire car I paid for in my cover in the event of an accident has never materialised either despite multiple requests for it. These people are clowns; save yourself the stress of dealing with these tossers. Yes the fully comprehensive quote was cheap, but in return the service you get is non existent. I've been stuck without any transportation for two weeks all because of a accident that wasn't my fault. They're happy to take your money, just a little less keen on returning the gesture. Oh and don't waste your money with the legal cover add on, it's just a load of greedy solicitors who will constantly harass you to make exaggerated claims for injuries so that they can line their pockets on your misfortune.

Horrendous service! You can't contact anyone and you just get emails farming you out to other people. No one in the chain takes responsibility for what's happening or has a clue what's been promised in your policy. It's taken a month to get my car repaired because no one wants to take responsibility for sorting a courtesy car, or there isn't one available. I won't be using again.

Locked out of account, clicked send email link to reset, linked received, clicked on and it sends another link to reset and the same thing happens again and again. Need to co tact them to cancel insurance as I no longer have the car and there is no way of contacting them. Absolutely useless

I had to get a cracked windscreen replaced which was straight forward. Booked it all through quote me happy website. Great, autoglass came out and did a terrible job. But that's a different story for a different review. A year and a half later the windscreen cracked again for no apparent reason. Went back through insurance company (still with quote me happy) price had gone up from £75 to £115, ok well it needs to be done so booked up, again very straight forward. Using a different windscreen repair company this time, thank goodness. When they turned up and started the work they abandoned the job as they said autoglass had done such a bad job they didn^t want to touch the screen (clips had all been removed from side of screen so panels had been glued on and vin plate was cracked as well as other issues. We were advised to go back to autoglass as windscreen had no reason to crack and they said autoglass windscreen have a lifetime warrenty. This is when it all went wrong. We had a battle on our hands. We tried contacting the insurance company however they don't have any advisers who deal with windscreen complaints you just have to book the replacement through the website. Refused to deal with it. We said we cant book it through your website as the company you use have refused to fix it because the company you made us use the first time have damaged the car. Nope can't help. So we logged it through their website as a claim/complaint it's now 6 weeks later and we have had no response or acknowledgement of our complaint. Quote me happy are not interested at all that my car has a cracked screen and has not been driven or repaired and it's now 6 weeks where I have been unable to drive my car. So I have now renewed with a different insurer who was much cheaper than my £4 cheaper than the previous years renewal quote. It's funny how they could contact me by post, text and email for my renewal but still no contact about my complaint. I had been a loyal customer for 3 years. I will never use them again and would never reccomend. As soon as we had a problem they were not interested. Very disappointing.

Currently with them. Can't upload ncb. Can't speak to a human. Online only "24/7" NO ONE EVER REPLIES. increased monthly payments without telling me why ! Around 90 extra for the whole year!

Home and contents insurance about to go up by 21%. I hope they pay their staff that well! Shan't be stopping with them. I have been a good customer since 2017 and no claims.

I was been informed by the bank that you have taken out money twice from my credit card for HOME INSURANCE without my authorisation. I have checked my email non of the email states that I have confirm. Tried several time to get in touch with you by email to reset my password as you have locked my account, no response from your end. Last response I have to-day due to renewal of my HOME INSURANCE. I am in touch with FCA that how the company takes the money out of the account without authorisation.

Locked out of my account tried to change password over 10 times the server froze every time cancelled my direct debit has I was cancelling going with another provider and eventually got a password change 2 days after it was due and cancelled the policy now get demand letters and threats of court for stopping payment for something I don’t want and there system wouldn’t let me in so not my fault avoid at all cost

I am unable to log into my account as it says I have tried too many times.! I used the correct details. I need a copy of my insurance to prove to the council that I am insured. Soon I will be fined for parking in my street if I can't prove my insurance. I have asked for help with their customer service link and various means but no reply ...NOTHING. I will never use this company again and do not recommend anyone does because I am so frustrated. I have tried many many times to get some form of contact and NOTHING. Quote Me Unhappy should be what the company is called .

Hi All, I have just had to cancel my car insurance policy with about 8 weeks left to renewal. I sold my car and bought a new car, however, Quote Me Happy could not insure my new car, as it was to expensive! So I had to cancel and go to a new provider. So it was not my fault! However, what really annoyed me was the fact that they charged me for cancelling my policy, and no refund was offered! Despite there being 2 months left to run on what was a single annual payment! Quote me Happy offers good cheap insurance, but without any human contact! I have learnt from this, and in future would rather pay extra to speak with a human being with another provider, especially when in my view, I could not amend my policy for my new car, as Quote me Happy could not insure it as it was to expensive, and they kept my money for cancelling the current policy! Very poor show, should be renamed! Quote me not so Happy.com So please be aware! Will not use them again.
