Geeks on Wheels is a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome technology and help solve your computer problems.

We have staff based across New Zealand in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Ashburton, Dunedin and Invercargill.

“Hands down the best technical service I’ve ever had. The 0800 number was easy to deal with. The technician called first to confirm he was on his way and in less than an hour from my first call I had a technician at my house. I found Jared to be efficient and friendly. I can highly recommend.”

“Amazing service considering I called them 3 days before Christmas and they sent someone within hours, Lafi came to our rescue and fixed some ongoing problems with our wifi and home office devices, he was on time, polite and efficient, He is a Genius on Wheels :) Thanks so much!”

“Ross was amazing. He fixed a lot of work which had been previously done badly. Discovered and fixed shoddy work from Enable. Talked with the providers involved and sorted everything for me in ways I could never have done. I cannot speak too highly of his work, helpfulness and pleasant attitude throughout the long session.. He was professional and amazing and deserves my accolades. Thank you Ross from Sara Newman”

“James M. was really cool with a neat quiet manner and 'just get on with it' delivery - no fuss - and spoke layman's lingo to me so that I was able to understand what the challenges meant. “Really bad experience today with Geeks on Wheels (Wellington). Having sought advice regarding the performance on a MacBook Air, I was told after about 30 seconds I needed to buy a new laptop. Geeks on Wheels proceeded to ask for the full call out fee, offering no discount. I thought it was reasonable to offer a discount in this situation and that this info could be been ascertained prior to appointment. Poor form!”

Hi Rory, we're really sorry to hear that you've had this experience, and we're disappointed that you didn't feel like you received the high-quality service we expect to offer. Although we do have a minimum 1 hour charge which was explained at the time of booking, we have had a look into this further. Unfortunately when we arrived we discovered that your Macbook Air was a 2015 model and therefore is deemed vintage by Apple. As such Apple no longer provide support for it hence our technicians recommendation to upgrade the device. Your technician also did attempt to offer additional assistance with a number of other things while he was there so you could get the full hours worth of time. However, after one of our Supervisors contacted you to discuss the situation further, as an act of good faith, we did offer to refund half an hour. We hope this explains what has occurred, and why, and resolves your frustrations a little.
