“The delivery team refused to assemble my bed even though I paid for assembly, because they didn't have a legal place to park. Ultimately not a big issue, put it together myself fairly easily BUT - they told me I would get a refund of the assembly cost and I don't think I have received one.”

They do need to be able to park and leave the van safely for all other road users and authorities. Refunds can take up to 14 days to be processed. “The Low Oriental bed headboard is much lower then the photo I have seen on the website. I am frustrated with this buying order. Hope you can seriously look into the size then to deliver.”

“The delivery of the bed was on time and the quality of the bed overal is very good. We are disappointed with how the bed was packed, as the polystyrene has damaged the felt floor protectors. Considering we had to pay extra to have these protectors, we are very annoyed that this happened.”

“Lots of assembly, for the cost it should have been in sub assemblies, I understand it meant less packaging but offset against assembly time by others for this, the price is over.”

“Mostly pleased with my new bed. Shipping was a bit difficult as I had 5 of 6 boxes delivered so couldn’t build my bed when required. A few boxes had some small damage and a few bed parts have dents/marks, I’ve just built this in a way that you can’t see them as I needed the bed ASAP. Quality seems quite good, it’s a bit more “flat pack/ikea” than I expected but everything went together nicely and the build was simple.”

“The quality of the bed is really really good. To assemble it on the other hand was tricky. They send me the wrong instructions, I needed to make some assumptions to go through it.( they sent me instructions for a similar type of bed). For instance, the forehead and the mechanism were different from what I got in the boxes. resulting in me consuming a long time on how to fit everything with a similar type. A lot of guessing to have my bed assembled. It took us approximately 3 hours, something that ruin our expectations, giving us a bad experience. Please be sure and double-check what instructions you are sending, and make the instructions clear (clear picture, what parts we need to use..) The quality seems good, but I'm not sure it's worth the experience of assembling it”

“The bed is great but the instructions on how to assemble it are terrible. Pay the £40 to assemble.It took 2 people 5 hours of working out all the missing information in the instructions. The person responsible should hang their head in shame! Five hours I'll never get back!”

“Customer service is great - lots of communication and they’re easy to get a hold of with questions. Delivery from the UK to California was quick! The bed is well made and smells like real wood, but it does have a glaring design flaw that bothers me. The lip of the bed is flush with the support slays such that the mattress just sits on top, but this leads to seeing the unsightly support slays in the corners (see photos).”
