“Discovered these beds online and they were perfect for our rather low ceiling studio room. Because they don't have any sides as such, we can use them as 2 singles or a double and no-one would know! Delivery was good bearing in mind we had them delivered to one of the western isles - shame everyone can't be so pro-active with their deliveries!! We had a couple of slats missing but that was soon resolved. Would recommend.”

“Everthing went very smoothly, ordering, delivery and any queries. The bed looks lovely. We think some of the build instructions could do with refreshing and would recommend having an electric screw driver if you are self building.”

“Ordered Oxford bed ( white ) Sturdy bed. Ordered and delivered very promptly. Some bits where slats from headboard fit into posts couid fit more snugly but with pillows on it hardly notices”

“Overall the bed looks good now it's assembled and it seems well made, definitely an upgrade from our previous bed. However the delivery process was frustrating. I placed my order on 1st November and specifically selected delivery for Saturday 30th November. On Friday 29th, the day before my order was supposed to arrive I received a tracking link which said the delivery would come on Monday 2nd instead. I called up and was told nothing could be done about it but that it would arrive on Monday 2nd. I got an email with a delivery window on Sunday 1st evening, confirming my order would arrive in the morning on Monday 2nd. I then received another email on the morning of Monday 2nd saying that my order would not be delivered that day as the courier had not received it yet. In the end my order arrived on Thursday 5th December. The instructions manual could have done with some more steps / information or clearer colour photos. There were some pilot holes drilled on some parts of the bed to help with the assembly, but these were not mentioned in the instructions and were not super obvious. Also the screws received were slightly different to what was listed in the instructions, so it took some working out what should be used.”

“Well made bed, fully out of real wood (no particle board, MDF or OSB). Looks great and I like the option of a bedside shelf, which fits just right. Delivered on time. Only loss of a star is that the bed pieces were *not* marked and although they are nearly symmetrical, several are not quite. If someone doesn't have much self-build experience this could be extremely difficult. The directions also indicated a screwdriver, but you really need a powered one or a drill bit attachment for a cordless drill unless you are extremely strong. This was fine for me, but it may be too much again for people who are expecting more of an IKEA-style kit. However, very happy with the finished product. It looks great and happy to buy from a truly British-made brand. Would recommend to others with the minor caveats above.”

“Would have been 5 stars but no fixings sent with delivery. Received these next day so thanks for fast response. Bed frame is good and solid. Easy to assemble. Great quallity and finish. For info, needed to drill couple of pilot holes for screws in one of the legs. Not done at factory. Just minor quality control to feed back on. May have caused problem for others.”

“The bed and mattress are excellent and I couldn’t rate it more highly. The reason for a 4 and should be a 5 if someone built it for me was that the instructions were a little vague and not enough clear pictures with specifics (such as holes in certain places on parts of the bed which other flat pack furniture has) I would have given 5 starts easily if it wasn’t for the instructions. Once Get Laid beds sort this out, I can imagine they will always receive 5 stars”

“A month in and the bed seems great. We self assembled, but would definitely recommend you pay for them to do it. They estimated 35 mins, it took us over 3 hours of frustration! The instructions were very unclear and had missing sections, would not recommend at all.”

“Ordering and delivery process and communication was great. Bed looks brilliant and seems very solid so far. Instructions fir assembly could have been much clearer, we had to unscrew and rebuild the headboard at one point which was very frustrating, hence not 5 stars”

“Great product, easy to put together and all the joints fitted nicely. Delivery by Fedex, not a fan as they give a time slot only to turn up when they feel like it and declare that they have the right to turn up any time before 18.00. No point in giving a time slot of between 08.50 and 12.50 if they turn up when they like!”

“So far so good. bed has been up about a week now and has been great. Very solid, no creaking. Only downside was we got the bed without instructions. Tore every box apart and did not find them and as it was a Sunday could not get the instructions until Monday morning.”

“Well made and finished. Arrived as agreed, well packed and free from errors. Instructions lacked accuracy, but construction was easily achieved based on lots of previous experience with assembly of furniture.”
