“Dear Gentlemen, Received the bed frame, but haven't put together (due to space is still under renovation) but for purposes of this feedback, we took inventory of the parts and found out that the we are missing 4 60mm screws from the indicated 22 screws, we only have 18 pcs of the 60mm screws. Kindly send the missing parts ASAP. I also sent an email on this, kindly refer to that as well. Thank you/ Jean”

“Bed was a little tricky to put together but I was doing it largely on my own. Quality is good. No central support for doubles or smaller but the slats are wide and it holds up. Adding the mattress makes my bed higher than I prefer so I may buy a lower bed from getlaidbeds at some point. I would certainly use this company again. The mattress is lovely - Every night 2000 pocket sprung - and really finishes the bed off. I do recommend this mattress to go with the bed, if you can budget for it. The page is unable to upload the photo but I did try adding it.”

“Our bed and mattress are exactly what we wanted, and our first night's sleep was excellent. We weren't sure oru mattress choice of 'firm' was the right one for us, but it must have been as we slept so well. It was easy to assemble and solidly designed and built. The only gripe was a disconnection between Get Laid and Furdeco, the delivery company. Get Laid had confirmed our requested delivery date and passed the job to Furdeco who acknowledged receipt of the goods well before the due delivery date. I drove 2 hours to the delivery address on the due date and waited, deterred from calling Furdeco by being number 25 in their queue. Around lunchtime, when I had to brave the call queue, I finally learnt that our delivery had not been scheduled at all. I couldn't have known that. So it was then re-scheduled for a week later. Interestingly, all the labels on the goods clearly showed the earlier delivery date. There's a system 'hole' here from the customer's viewpoint.”

“Quick delivery and good communication. Bed seems to be high quality and looks great (although colour a bit different to what I had expected). Assembling it myself was quite a challenge as the instructions are not particularly clear and some of the pre-drilled holes were not well aligned. Would strongly suggest paying extra for the assembly service (unfortunately not available where I live).”

“We have been sleeping on our new bed for a week and couldn't be happier. The frame is very sturdy and we love the natural details in the wooden headboard. After a slight hiccup with the delivery date, all of our interactions with customer service have been extremely prompt, helpful and professional. A replacement slat came very promptly in place of one that we identified as having a chip in it. Thank you to the whole team!”

“An amazing bed. I've always had my beds from here. Really sturdy and look fab. Last time I bought one, there was an option to have it made...this time there wasn't that option...which was a real shame. But the bed is spot on and I would recommend them to anyone.”

“Really helpful phone advise before purchasing online. Bed arrived promptly and safely. No issues at all. The only company I found that made 3 foot 6inch beds that looked lovely. Will use again for my other child’s bed when needed.”

“Great company and great product, really like my new bed and it arrived exactly on time. Only slight issue I had was the way the product was packaged the screws got loose from their bag and banged around in the box, luckily didn't damage the wood of the bed but did tear up the assembly guide and there was no way to get another copy so had to work off scraps of paper re-assembed. (Reached out to support for a digital copy but never got a response)”

“Good quality pine. Took a bit longer to assemble but everything solid although at the moment it’s a bit creaky. Headboard was tricky to ensure it was square and symmetrical, pre-drilling a notch in the headboard boards would have helped line the top one up. Also a couple of spacers for the slats would have been helpful.”

“Showroom experience with Ellie was good and helped determine bed and underbed storage selection. Pleased with quality of oak bed frame. Instructions for self assembly could be clearer and strength needed to insert some of the screws. Luke and Betheny from customer services responded very quickly to query and missing slat was sent out promptly.”

“Ordered online and the bed, as a kit of parts, was delivered on time. Assembly was reasonably straightforward, however the instruction diagrams were quite small, and I needed to re-do a couple of steps to get things the right way up. The machining was not quite as precise as Ikea items,.as some holes needed deepening or opening out to allow the screws to go all the way home. Nevertheless, the finished bed is impressive!”

“We looked at many different companies and models of bed before deciding to buy our king-size Deco bed from Get Laid Beds. This was on the basis of its elegant design and solid construction/workmanship. The price we paid was competitive with the prices charged by several other bespoke bedmakers. The company was good to deal with and their communication over the delivery itself and our initial queries following delivery was professional and helpful. We had a particular issue with the shade of the wood veneer on the delivered item. We felt that this was nothing like what we thought we had ordered. We were told that we were entitled to send the bed back if we were unhappy with it, but after some agonizing we decided we would keep it in the end. Interestingly, once we had assembled the bed and added the mattress to it, we were won over by the character of the veneer in particular. This did not clash as badly with the other colours and textures in the room as we feared it might do. In fact, we had to admit that it added something positive to them.”

“We are absolutely satisfied with the quality of the Low Oriental Bed, we've purchased. It looks great and the instruction was easy to undertsand. I've also liked the thoughtful and reliable way to connect different pieces together. Besides that the company was dilligently informing us through the whole process when our bed was built and then shipped to us. Unfortunately, the first shipment did include some wrong parts, but once we contacted the customer support via email our issues were quickly and professionaly resolved and we've received the correct parts soon. The whole encounter with the company was great pleasure I just don't feel it's right to award all 5 stars due to the original misshipment.”
