“The bed itself is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The only room for improvement with the bed itself is that I had to do quite a bit of maths and measuring and shimmying back and forth when it came to the slats, since there were no guidelines for how far apart they should be spaced, and no markings on the inside lip of the bed frame, which would've been very helpful. As for the delivery, the delivery service with FedEx was an absolute NIGHTMARE, the worst and most absurd fiasco I've ever experienced, as they delivered to the wrong address THREE separate times, and delayed the arrival of my bed by nearly 2 weeks, wasting entire days of my life in the process, since FedEx refused to provide anything but a 12hr window of arrival, and also refused to follow my delivery instructions. The staff on the phone at Get Laid Beds were exceedingly kind and helpful through all of this, but I wish Get Laid Beds would just do away with using FedEx at all, since I think it's likely hurting their business, and it greatly soured my experience.”

“The frames are well made but did not come with appropriate instructions, even our carpenter struggled. Also, the mattress (firm) is comfortable once you are lying on it, but the edges are curiously so soft they feel unsupported; they almost collapse under you if you sit on the edge. I thought I ordered the same mattress as last time, maybe the manufacturing has changed.”

“Happy overall, but expected slightly better for the price. No problems with delivery or timescales. Building was fairly straightforward if you're that way inclined, but some of the instructions were misleading (and one step we actively decided to do the opposite of what it seemed to be suggesting). Also not helped by the fact the instructions were for a slightly different bed than mine! Was also very glad I had a friend with power tools to help me, would have been a much harder job by hand. Disappointed that there were some scuffs and a gauge out of the headboard on both sides. Know it's a natural, handmade product, but feels like that damage could have been avoided. Was also disappointed at the gap between the slats, ended up having to put them about 7.5/8cm apart to space them out evenly across the base, which is a bigger gap than recommended for most mattresses. Partly my fault because I'd misunderstood the section of the website talking about their "better than industry standard" slats, but still... Overall, looks good, so far functions as you'd expect. But not sure I'd buy again for the price”

“It arrived on time and had a call from the delivery company 45 minutes before. We was not offered the put together service as it wasn’t covered in our postcode which was disappointing. We couldn’t put the bed up straight away as waited for a skilled friend who is an expert in construction and thank goodness we did. We had 8 boxes and found the instructions in box 8! The instructions could be vastly improved. Three hours later and some parts of it did take four people to hold whilst sections were screwed together. I wouldn’t recommend for diy novices to undertake putting this ottoman style bed together. However, the bed feels sturdy. Some small marks on the wood and a couple of little chips can be seen.”

“Our bed arrived on schedule but we had a problem with missing screws likely due to a hole in the bag they came in so had to wait for replacements. The bed itself is solid and very sturdy, good for the money I think. My one criticism is that the joints into the bed posts have small gaps where the ends of the rails are not 100% straight and square and not all exactly the same length. I will have to use some flexibile filler and I don't know if it is reasonable to expect these to be more accurately cut or not.”

“Very solid bed once built. All the finishing and joints were accurately cut. And the paint finish is very good. The bunk bed will definitely be able to handle our two kids. The only negative is all of the mortis and tenon joints weren't tight and actually had a bit of movement in two directions. I could slide them in effortlessly which wasn't expected.”

“Finding a smaller-than-average single bed for a small bedroom was difficult, but Get Laid Beds' space saver single bed fit perfectly. I ended up buying three mattresses and two beds. The mattresses are very comfortable, and the bedframes are beautiful and easy to assemble. However, the parts in the boxes didn't always match the instructions leaflet, causing some confusion. One mattress was missed in the delivery but arrived a few days later. Despite this, their customer service was excellent. I highly recommend Get Laid Beds for high-quality bedroom furniture.”

“Bought for my teenage son, who's room is in the loft so this low bed and space saving design (where mattress sits on top of the frame) made a huge difference. Delivered on time. The bed is as shown, and is really solid and well made. My son absolutely loves it! I've had to drop a star however as the building instructions weren't the best, with none of the bed parts labelled (a letter or number would help) so we spent much longer than necessary trying to figure it all out. Also, instructions were for the Oriental not Toyko, so we initially panicked we'd been sent the wrong bed! Just small things, but would hugely help with customer experience.”

“Well made bed frame and comfy bed that looks good , but it really should say on the website that an electric screwdriver is strongly suggested. We don’t have one and it took ages and was quite painful on hands to put all the screws in by hand even though there is some pre drilling. Would recommend but invest in an electric screwdriver or attachment for your drill!”

“The Bed arrived on time, although some packages where missing. After doing a full inventory I contacted Customer Service and after some back and forth, they supplied the missing parts swiftly. After this little mishap, everything went as planned. We now hav a new Ottoman and an Everyday mattress and we are sleeping better than we have in the last 7 years. Also, love the colours, the materials, and they do have a great the company name xD Fully recommend.”

“Discovered these beds online and they were perfect for our rather low ceiling studio room. Because they don't have any sides as such, we can use them as 2 singles or a double and no-one would know! Delivery was good bearing in mind we had them delivered to one of the western isles - shame everyone can't be so pro-active with their deliveries!! We had a couple of slats missing but that was soon resolved. Would recommend.”

“Ordered Oxford bed ( white ) Sturdy bed. Ordered and delivered very promptly. Some bits where slats from headboard fit into posts couid fit more snugly but with pillows on it hardly notices”
