The bed was for my son, not me. I was not there when it was delivered. He seems very satisfied with it and it looks good, very good quality. Maybe when I need one I will consider.

Solid bed, good packaging. Instructions could be better - make them for individual beds rather than collections.

lovely bed really pleased with it. It's the second one we have bought. Went together nicely and looks beautiful. My daughter and I both use your company and the quality is fab. Only issue for me is around delivery, you place an order and get quite an abrupt e-mail saying make sure you are in - we won't be giving you a time slot (when you actually did give me a time slot!), make sure we can get to your house etc etc and if we can't deliver you will be charged for re-delivery etc. It wasn't relevant to us as we have plenty of access but there are ways to word things when people have spent a lot of money with you. I'd have thought in the current economy an e-mail saying thanks for your order and we'll do everything we can to make it a smooth process would be better and worded better rather than what feels like quite a threatening e-mail which is clearly just a standard note sent to everybody, it really needs re-wording to say 'we're sorry we can't give you a time slot' rather than very blunt. Or why not try give time slots to make people's lives easier. When lorries are loaded the driver knows where he's going and who is first drop off. It's 2024! everybody has e-mails, sat navs and mobile phones - technology to keep us updated.

The bed is stunning, really great quality and very sturdy but oh my god the instructions are as clear as mud and desperately need improvement. More pictures (including pictures of what screws etc you need for each step and not just saying it's the 45mm one) and more detailed written instructions are needed.

Purchased the space saver ottoman bed - and its really good, everything I expected once assembled. I had to go self-build though as GLB's dont do the "assembled for you" option unless you are pretty local (I am about 1hr 15mins away and they wouldnt offer it) - so bear that in mind if you aren't good with tools etc. The assembly was ok but the instructions do miss out some bits .. the pine "connector" blocks for example ... nothing on them at all (though you can work it out after a head scratch or two) .. the gas strut is also a pretty tight fit on the bottom rail meaning the screws have to go in close to the edge of the rail (that bit is pine and you need to be careful not to split it).. GLB's - you could do a lot better there. I am happy with how it turned out though - but you need to take care in a couple of spots.

I had extreme difficulty screwing in two screws as there were no pre-drilled holes, as a result the bed is not assembled as it should be but seems sturdy enough. I actually injured the palm of my hand attempting to fit these two final screws. The chosen finish was perfectly applied to all areas. Aside from the issue with the two screws, overall a positive experience and build quality is good.

Only adverse comment is that the assembly instructions could be a lot better and a link to a video tutorial would be really helpful. Part identification in the instructions is a bit vague, and the instructions I got with my bed were generic rather than bespoke to my product. The way the website works is also a bit clunky and could do with a good update. The bed itself is excellent quality.

The good: * I really like the design of the bed, it's attractive and practical * The sapele wood looks and feels really high quality * The delivery people were friendly and punctual The bad: * Some of the pre-drilled holes seemed to be missing. For example, the holes for the end rails and for the central rail in the bed were missing. This was seemingly random - for example one side of the bed box had pre-drilled holes at one end but not at the other, even though they should have been symmetric. I spoke to one of your staff members over the phone, who told me that because I'd ordered the sapele wood finish it was normal to not have all of the pre-drilled holes - if that's the case, I think you should definitely mention it in the assembly instructions, and mention in the product description that drilling is required. Luckily I happened to have a drill with the correct bits and was able to complete the assembly, but it was much more work than I expected. * The instructions could have been clearer. For example, when I was assembing the bed boxes, there was nothing to indicate that the slats needed to be inserted in a particular order due to some of them having pre-drilled holes. I had to go back and reassemble the box when I realised this. * Some of the screw holes didn't line up exactly, and in some cases I needed to use a *lot* of force in order to get the screws in. I'm not sure if this was because the wood had warped slightly, or because the holes weren't drilled in exactly the right places to begin with.

The beds are quite wonderful, I love the concept of floating beds and especially for elderly folks as you dont wind up smashing toes against the legs. My only wish is that it should have additional support, the beds tend to be a little "creaky" and noisy. The slats take a lot of weight and wind up making noise. But I love the bed, I can always create the added support by myself

I've bought three low beds from Get Laid Beds. We are all very happy with them. They look beautiful in our loft bedrooms. One admonition, if you are not sure about the mattress, either order elsewhere or do NOT open the bag the mattress is packed in as they have a strict no returns policy (which I do get why... but is not the same with all mattress companies). Otherwise, we are very happy with the bed frames themselves.

The bed is well-made, looks good and was delivered on the date said. The only negative was the website design - it recalculates prices with each option selected but at the same time lost previous choices. So I had to go through process twice and still ended up with the incorrect delivery method.

The bed itself is fantastic quality and a really beautiful colour. I have removed a star for the poor communication from the company. We requested a specific delivery date and even checked in before to make sure the delivery date was still on track. My partner had to take a day off work only to be told at 3.20pm on the day that the bed was going to be delivered two days later. Very frustrating, and could easily have been avoided with better communication.

Product was great- good quality and looks excellent Easy to order. Good customer service when needed. Paid extra for delivery as needed to know window it would arrive in- we received the initial text with 2 hr window but then no phone call, no live tracking, no further text as per information given. I have a baby and we don’t yet live in the house so I was relying on this. Delivery men from GLB didn’t seem to know anything about it. They were good natured about me not being there on time as a result though and were careful with the delivery.

Very nice bed. Especially like the grain and colour of the cherry. Very precise milling makes it all fit together perfectly.

The bed is good quality, sturdy and looks great, very pleased with it and good value overall. I shopped around a lot. The same for the mattress that we orderd with it, really good quality and very comfortable. The delivery was also good, very well communicated from Get Laid Beds and the courier and the delivery people were nice and helpful. The only slight niggle with the bed is that there are some small gaps where the wood isn't flush where it joins. On the base it doesn't really matter as you can't see it and it's very sturdy so obviously doesn't affect the integrity. On the headboard the gaps show as it's against a pale wall. There are bigger gaps on one side one side so looks a bit off but that noticeable. Maybe it's the rustic look. As I say, I'm really pleased with the bed and the niggles are just that, not the end of the world.

Brilliant service which endorses my decision to buy from a British company. Although the price was higher than other suppliers, the quality of service and product is worth it. My only criticism is in relation to the delivery/assembly chaps - they were great and did a good job, but they told me that their day started at 02:00am, leaving Nottingham to pick up the bed from Leicester and then onto London. This doesn't sound like a sustainable working day and is surely unsafe. I think the company need to look at other ways of delivering their beds. Overall though, definitely a company I'd use again.

Very pleased with my Low Tokyo Bed. The build quality of the materials is superb and well worth the money. The instructions and the markings (for assemly) on the bed panels are of a poor quality and sub standard. The item was delivered over two days, for which I had to stay in to accept the delivery over these two days Would I buy from Get Laid Beds, the jury is out on this one !

We are really pleased with our king size bed frame and now wanted the underbed storage to match. Item selection was very easy via the website. Only just put them together so haven't used extensively but they feel sturdy, wheel-action very smooth and look smart. Progress of order was efficient and we were able to select delivery date with ease. Knocked it down a star only because the assembly instructions were not quite accurate however we managed :).
