“Bed is amazing and good value for money when in the sale. The bed is sturdy and well built, there were no issues with assembly other than the instructions could be a little clearer IRT pieces that need to be in a specific orientation... Only negative was the turnaround time from ordering to delivery as it took roughly 2 weeks to be delivered, the company offer a faster service at double the delivery rate hiding additional costs.”

“Overall very happy with GLB. Only slight issue was the delivery. We organised to work from home to recieve the delivery on the Friday as per our order, but only 5 or the 6 boxes were delivered. So the following day (Saturday) we had made clear to remove old and build new bed was not possible. The last box arrived on the Monday after! So we had to wait until the following weekend to finally build our new bed. All happy now. It is a nice and sturdy feeling bed. Feels well constructed. Easy to fit together, looks good. Would still recommend.”

“Ordering was easy, delivery was on time and in managable boxes. Assembly instructions were difficult to understand in places, mainly due to the pictures not being great. Overall very happy with the product though.”

“Delivery as described/arranged. Bed is beautiful and sturdy once built. The pre-drilled screw holes in some places were really hard and in the end we had to borrow a power drill/screwdriver thing (impact driver?) from a friend. The angle of some of the screws was also really hard to reach with the length of the tools we had available.”

“Solid and very strong construction with top quality hardwood and excellent design and finish. We chose the White Knight space saver with rounded legs and two storage drawers in white. Delivery options very flexible to suit the customer's needs. We wanted to have the bed frame a week earlier to construct it before we took delivery of new mattress. Definitely would have given 5 stars but for a small issue with the central support counter-sunk screw holes being drilled on the wrong side which did not match with the printed instructions. Easily remedied by my partner, who has some carpentry knowledge. Very pleased with your company and would have no hesitation in recommending Get Laid Beds.”

“On the whole I am impressed with this company. Any communicaiton has been timely and clear. We wanted to see and try our bed before buying and our visit to the showroom in Leicester was informative and easy. The bed frame (low platform engineered oak) is basic and simple but that's what we were looking for. Solid and minimal sound of wood rubbing on wood. Pretty good so far and works well with our current mattress which didn't need replacing. We are happy with the quality. What was really disappointing was delivery. Our 5 piece delivery was meant to be arriving on a day that we had booked off work. Only 4 of the boxes arrived and it turned out that FedEx had put one box in a different van and it went to a different depot. Not quite sure how they managed this when they are such a big established company. And I would hope that Get Laid Beds would double check at that stage. They did apologise but it felt a bit like they were putting all the responsibility on FedEx. I think there should be more monitoring of that and a bit more taking ownership that this is the company they have chosen to deliver their beds. The 5th box came a day late which meant we had to sleep with the mattress on the floor for a night which wasn't great. This said, we are on the whole happy with the actual product and sleeping better!”

“Lovely company. Website was easy to use and the Web chat feature was helpful for query I had before purchase. I received emails to keep me up to date on the bed being made and delivery arrived on time on the date selected. The only delivery available in our area was the standard courier delivery meaning we had to construct the bed from scratch ourselves, which was a little disappointing. Overall a good experience with the company.”

“Love the new bed! The assembly instructions were a little confusing as I thought I had been sent a single bed, instead of the double I ordered. But I got in touch via email and the team set me straight and I did in fact have the parts for my double! Feels very sturdy, I don't think it'll be falling apart any time soon!”

“Firstly the felt feet pads (which were paidfor) were not in the delivery, otherwise the bed is very nice, but quite hard to put together by oneself.”

“Excellent communication from Get Laid Beds at every stage of the process and delivery timescale met. A few minor points. The assembly instructions need proof reading but thankfully the errors are fairly obvious. We needed to clamp the sides in the centre whilst fitting the slats to ensure a good fit. The outside back of one of the storage drawers was rough and not smoothly finished. Overall very pleased.”

“The bed is great, good quality & sturdy, very pleased….the instructions on the other hand are terrible! This is something that needs looking at. Each piece needs labelling & the instructions need rewriting / drawing! Words were missing, pages not in the right order….drawings not true to size, very confusing when in-fact it’s quite easy to make! The instructions over complicated it! Apart from that, everything else was brilliant, the customer service is great, the product brilliant…just sort the instructions & labelling of parts!”

“We love our new bed, it’s well made and looks great. We also asked for a made to measure adjustment and the white glove assembly service which was excellent and I really professionally done. My only complaint would be that if you try move the bed it can get out the of alignment with the ottoman mechanism that opens it.”

“We went here a few times looking for a good wooden bed. Really good range available, lovely location to try things out, good samples of all the wood finishes and various options. Staff were realyl friendly and very helpful. After a few adventures we found something we really liked, and committed. Sales process was a little complicated, and we ended up with an order which was wrong and had to be corrected when it was confirmed. After this point it was smooth sailing. We got email updates confirming everything was going to happen. The delivery date was perfect, and the people who delivered the bed did it really reliable and communicated well. We opted to build the bed ourselves, which wasn't hard, but it needed some clamps/straps to ensure the joints fitted tightly. Nothing unexpected, and the bed is really nice. We're thinking of getting a second for our son's room.”

“lovely bed really pleased with it. It's the second one we have bought. Went together nicely and looks beautiful. My daughter and I both use your company and the quality is fab. Only issue for me is around delivery, you place an order and get quite an abrupt e-mail saying make sure you are in - we won't be giving you a time slot (when you actually did give me a time slot!), make sure we can get to your house etc etc and if we can't deliver you will be charged for re-delivery etc. It wasn't relevant to us as we have plenty of access but there are ways to word things when people have spent a lot of money with you. I'd have thought in the current economy an e-mail saying thanks for your order and we'll do everything we can to make it a smooth process would be better and worded better rather than what feels like quite a threatening e-mail which is clearly just a standard note sent to everybody, it really needs re-wording to say 'we're sorry we can't give you a time slot' rather than very blunt. Or why not try give time slots to make people's lives easier. When lorries are loaded the driver knows where he's going and who is first drop off. It's 2024! everybody has e-mails, sat navs and mobile phones - technology to keep us updated.”

“The bed is stunning, really great quality and very sturdy but oh my god the instructions are as clear as mud and desperately need improvement. More pictures (including pictures of what screws etc you need for each step and not just saying it's the 45mm one) and more detailed written instructions are needed.”
