“We went to Leicester to have a look at the beds in person, ordered a custom-sized one, and had it delivered home. Every step of the way, we were treated friendly, patiently, and always made feel very welcome. The bed itself is very sturdy, easy to assemble, and has a good feel and finish to it. Constructing the bed is pretty easy, the instructions are okay. One piece of instructions (installing the middle beam) could have been labelled a bit more clearly, but it was easy to figure out. The mattress is very comfortable. Overall, a very comfortable bed in custom size at a good price, with quality construction and a very friendly team. Shout-outs to Chris & Susan who did a fabulous job getting the bed up into our bedroom!”

“This is a really nice-looking bed, and organising delivery was straightforward and the delivery team very pleasant. However, the experience of putting up the bed was pretty bad, despite it being sold as a simple flat pack. The instructions reassured us that all we would need was a screwdriver - an electric drill might speed up the process but was unnecessary. This was not the case; in multiple places the bed required new holes to be created, making a drill essential. Some parts of the instructions were so vague or unclear as to be impossible to follow - we found that many people online had experienced the same, and thankfully used others’ trial and error tutorials to get us through the process. Some parts of the instructions were actively misleading, e.g. instructing us to use the “black screws” when all screws provided were silver. As I said, it’s a good bed, but the instructions need serious improvement, and parts of the flat pack itself could be improved too, in particular adding holes in all the relevant places, rather than just some. I’d recommend paying for the service where this bed it assembled for you unless you’re a very confident DIY-er.”

“We love our new bed. You can really feel the quality of the wood and sturdiness of the structure. Love that they’re made in the UK. Assembly was straight forward between two of us, an electric screwdriver sped the process up. Overall would definitely recommend this company and will definitely be buying from them again!”

“We bought three beds. Two king sized and one double Ottoman in oak. They beds themselves are fantastic as are the 2000 pocket matresses and the bedding and pillows. The only reason this isn't five stars is the packaging. The packages marked double bed actually contained a king, so we built it in the weong room and then had to take it apart and rebuild it. The parts for the double bed were in fact scattered through the double and king sized packages. But other than that confusion, very happy indeed.”

“We now have 5 of their beds! Really like the fact that they offer the build service…. me and my husband had to do one of them in lockdown and it did take us ages….whereas the delivery guys so efficient! Have recommended to all our family so that’s another 6 beds.”

“Really disappointed. Arrived with missing screws and some components just don't fit as they should. Bed also creaks so loudly that it wakes my newborn up every time I come to bed. Two stars is actually a bit generous for what is actually quite a poor product.”

“We ordered 2 made-to-measure beds. A very helpful lady explained the process and how to order online. The beds were delivered on time and had a good tracking facility. The only slight negative was that some of the slats had not been pre-drilled, but it wasn't a great problem. Overall, excellent product and service - would recommend.”

“I love the quality of this bed and the recycled/recyclable packaging. The ottoman bed was pretty straightforward to put together, but if I had to suggest one way to improve the service, it would be to have an instructive video of assembly on your site. Overall, this handmade bed is of wonderful quality and looks brilliant in the bedroom. all correspondence with G L B was excellent too”
