“Great solid bed and delivered when they said. My only small criticism would be the advice that you can build it with just a hand screwdriver. I'm a builder and there's no way I could have put in all those screws by hand -definitely need a power tool!”

“The bed is good quality, sturdy and looks great, very pleased with it and good value overall. I shopped around a lot. The same for the mattress that we orderd with it, really good quality and very comfortable. The delivery was also good, very well communicated from Get Laid Beds and the courier and the delivery people were nice and helpful. The only slight niggle with the bed is that there are some small gaps where the wood isn't flush where it joins. On the base it doesn't really matter as you can't see it and it's very sturdy so obviously doesn't affect the integrity. On the headboard the gaps show as it's against a pale wall. There are bigger gaps on one side one side so looks a bit off but that noticeable. Maybe it's the rustic look. As I say, I'm really pleased with the bed and the niggles are just that, not the end of the world.”

“Brilliant service which endorses my decision to buy from a British company. Although the price was higher than other suppliers, the quality of service and product is worth it. My only criticism is in relation to the delivery/assembly chaps - they were great and did a good job, but they told me that their day started at 02:00am, leaving Nottingham to pick up the bed from Leicester and then onto London. This doesn't sound like a sustainable working day and is surely unsafe. I think the company need to look at other ways of delivering their beds. Overall though, definitely a company I'd use again.”

“Lovely solid bed, Tokyo style was perfect (as low down) for our loft space with sloping ceilings. Delivery and building service were great, hardly took them 10 minutes.”

“My rating might be high because I am having a terrible expereince with *every" other furniture vendor i am dealing with for my new house. Before ordering - they have great wood finish options, give you full details on dimensions, and have a good website. Post order, they had clear communication on manufacturing status. They showed up on day of delivery with 2 people, who carried the flat packs up to the second floor and got the installation done within 20min. The ottoman storage bed is great, my 150x200 matress fits well. Good sleep, with low stress - this is exactly what you want from your bed manufacterer”

“Order process was very simple and easy to use. Communication was very good and delivery was on time and easy to arrange. The Japenese Style Bed was well packaged, made from good solid wood and easy to assemble. Very pleased with the quality and attention to detail.”

“Value does not match quality. Low effort put into instructions and no guides for the pieces of wood at all. Pieces were not flush, and the wrong nails were used with the caps.”

“Peter and Jay delivered and assembled the bed. Both were professional and friendly! We made a great choice with this bed - beautiful cherry hardwood and terrific luxury mattress. This is our second bed from Get Laid, and we're delighted.”

“Beautifully made bed and great communication around delivery. Only thing to improve would be to make the instructions for assembly clearer and mark where the slats should go. Overall love the bed and service, would recommend.”
