“Get Laid Beds have been a delight to buy from - from start to finish. The delivery was prompt, and the quality of the bed was great. There was a mistake with the order and there were no issues with the return, which was accomplished with minimum of hassle. With the replacement bed, we decided to go for the option to have the bed built for us and, again, we were delighted. The man responsible for delivery and build (Peter) could not have done more. He was cheerful, polite, respectful of our property and would not accept any help. Fantastic customer service.”

“Awful experience. I will never buy from this company again. Waited 3 weeks for a bed that cost £1016. When it arrived, we realized 2 boxes were missing for assembly. They only delivered 6 out of 8! When we raised the issue, they said the rest would come in another 5 days. As we had a flight booked in 3 days, leaving the house vacant, we had to leave keys for the workers to finish assembling the bed, hoping they'd be contacted by GetLaidBed before delivery, as the house is empty. A real disaster.”

Good Morning, We are very sorry your delivery had been split by the 3rd party courier. All items left Get Laid Beds together to be delivered all together. We rely heavily on outside couriers to deliver our packages when our direct teams are not selected at checkout. It is disappointing to see they had let you down on the day. “Really lovely ottoman storage bed that fits exactly under the eaves, so pleased to have found it. Storage is great, and we are very happy with the bed so far. It was delivered on time (despite some messing about with times early in the morning) by a lovely team. We opted for white-glove assembly, and this is where the 5th star is lost. Nothing is labelled - screws, bed parts, etc, so, for example, you have to measure the screws to make sure you're using the right ones. There are lots of extras, including some random bits that really worried us in case we missed something. The instructions for the bed are poor. The picture shows 3 'biscuits' for each slat, so that's what I did, but then why provide SO many more? I wish I had put more in, but I was trying to follow instructions. It would have been helpful if the instructions actually said how many to include. It would also be helpful if it said what tools you will need to assemble the bed. We had to keep stopping and going to get something else. We also had difficulty attaching the gas strut bracket onto the batten. The bracket was too wide for the batten, and the pre-drilled holes were incorrectly placed too close to the inside. I had to speak to 4 different people on 4 different occasions over the course of a week to get this sorted. Everyone was very friendly, but twice someone said they would call me back and didn't. In the end, we were told to just screw on the bracket even though it would overhang a bit, so hopefully it's ok. It would be so much easier if they put up a video on YouTube! In the end, we're happy with the bed, but the instructions really need some work.”

“Great company to deal with! I bought a bed from them a few years ago and it was so great I wanted a second for our guest room, plus some accessories. Very fast shipping, easy delivery, very minimal packaging which is almost all recyclable, and very easy to build the bed and drawers. Only recommendation is if you could use recyclable brown tape to seal your boxes rather than plastic tape :)”

“It was so refreshing to speak to the lady we ordered the bed from. She was super helpful, friendly and understanding. She was also very knowledgeable. I needed a small refund as decided not to have bed put together. Again that was dealt with very well and the money returned promptly. An excellent experience and I would buy from again.”

“Although I am satisfied with my adjustable,it's installation was far from satisfactory. It was due to be delivered on mon 30 Oct I got a phone call saying due to driver problems it would not be delivered until tuesday. The bed frame was erected but the adjustable interior was the wrong size. Although I explained that I had no bed and was having to sleep in a chair at 75 years of age they made no urgency of delivering a new inner. I had to sleep in a chair for 7 nights until it was delivered 0n mon 6 Nov. I have still not received an official apology for my inconvenience.”

We are very sorry that due to a mistake in the dispatch department the incorrect adjustable size base was delivered at the same time as your bed. As soon and the Transport department were made aware they offered the very earliest date the assembly team were in your area. Being in an area that is only served by the assembly team once a week it wasn't possible to have it redelivered any sooner. Our other options of sooner deliveries were not possible due to the assembly required The members of the Customer Service team that were trying to make these arrangements for you were very apologetic and sympathetic to your situation. “Very disappointed with the initial courier service. Having been advised we needed to stay in for 12 hours to wait for the delivery with no indication of a more specific time slot on the day, my partner had to take the day off work to wait for the bed to arrive. This would have been fine (if a little annoying) only for the delivery to never arrive with no phone call or other communication to tell us the order was delayed. It then arrived the next day just left outside the property. On querying where the delivery was and putting in a complaint I never heard anything back about where our delivery was. I am expecting a refund of the delivery fee at the very least for this poor service. Aside from this the bed is perfect and excellent quality. Just a shame about the customer service and poor delivery service.”

“Really happy with my bed so far although haven’t slept on it as still waiting for my mattress (from another company!) I chose the Ottoman and the bed has plenty of space for storing various items. Frankie from the delivery team was fantastic - she built it really quickly and left the area tidy. Highly recommend.”

“First of three beds ordered and assembled. Very sturdy. Not creaky at all. Decent quality so happy so far . Even better , after ordering, the decent folk at Get Laid Beds agreed to refund the sale difference that appeared a few days after my order. Very much appreciated and of course led to our third order ! Highly recommend this company.”

“Overall amazing experience. From ordering to speaking to the customer service everyone is fabulous. The quality of the bed is good. Easy to install as well. Only Two of the slats were a little scrapped and a small wedge cut which is a little damage but didn’t wanted sent it back and it was really minor damage.”
