“Third bed we've bought from GLB and still happy! Only area that needs improvement is the assembly instructions which are very basic and could do with additional narrative (particularly in the area of the headboard assembly). I got there in the end without too much bother but had to make a call to GLB customer services to clarify a couple of points during the assembly.”

“My order "Low Enkel Platform Bed (No Headboard)", that I received on August 12th came without my other order, "Felt Floor Protectors On Legs (SET)", and I don't know why.”

“Ordered an Oxford Bed and we're very happy with it! It was delivered on time with lots of updates while it was being made. It was easy to put together and looks great. It's very sturdy and the coffee bean finish is beautiful!”

“Ended up ordering the wrong size, the staff were extremely helpful in helping me send back the old one and reorder the correct size. Was very impressed with the quality of the bed and how easy it was to assemble (even though it was the wrong size again my mistake). Only down side is that FedEx is very unreliable waited in all day for delivery on the day selected and it didn’t come until the next day with no delivery update provided”

“Very very pleased with my purchase. The bed was delivered in secure packagingand on the date arranged. The bed is of very high quality, well built and and the instructions were very clear to put it together. Because of the quality of th ebed it went to gether really easily and it looks amazing. During the process of ordeering the bed and it being delivered I did contact customer services and they were amazing, responding to me in a timely manner and understood and dealt with my enquiry first time. Really great experience.”

“Very dissapointed. Shopped around for a higher end quality bed as get laid beds claims to be. Bed delivered but with large crack on one bedpost, which had been painted over. Also other minor marks and knocks to wood. Had to wait 4 hours for customer service to let me know next steps, no apologies other than to say this isn't the quality they expect. New bedpost has been sent but no expedited delivery so looking at over a week now. I wasn't prepared to put bed together only to have to disassemble again for new part as it never goes back properly second time. Been sleeping on floor now for a week. Overall very dissapointed.”

“It's only been a week but the bed seems very sturdy and strong. It is a good quality bed. Every single person I spoke to was helpful and polite, very good service. The only thing is, that I had to order an extra slat ( for better support) and although it was meant to arrive at the same time as the bed, it arrived a day later. That meant that we had already assembled the bed and the slat was wasted because we used another plank of wood to make one.”

“Bed as described - solid + decent quality but pricey. Good turnaround given customisation. Some surface marking on oak. Not an easy task to construct with 60+ screws + zero pre-assembly/ ultimate flat pack. Good communication over delivery although date was moved from order.”

“We had high expectations for our Japanese Storage bed. Unfortunately the quality of the wood, wood staining, design and construction failed to meet any of those expectations. Little care was taken when drilling the pilot holes and countersinking. Some of these were off centre and dangerously close to the edges of the wood, which could have resulted in nasty splits. The fabrication of the bed frame itself lacked precision, and it couldn't be constructed as intended. The slots that had been cut to support the bed frame were over 10mm or ½ “different, meaning that it could not be constructed without forcing it into place and throwing ‘off square’. We were expecting something of high quality, but it reminded me of buying a cheap prefabricated shed. We were super disappointed by having to return the bed, as it was a style that we really wanted to incorporate into our home. Having said that, the customer service regarding the return of the bed was very good. It’s just a shame that there was a need to return it and that the care in production did not match that.”

“I recently needed to put together a guest bedroom, it's narrow but long with minimal closet/storage space. I was looking for a Full size XL bedframe and found it at Get Laid Beds! I love the grey color of the Kensington frame, the tapered legs and that I could get additional storage ideas. I went with the under bed 3/4 drawer that fits great at the end of the bed as well as the sides. To complete the ensemble I have 4-tiered ladder shelves. Delivery was timely, even though in US, appreciate it all. Photo wouldn't upload, sorry”

“Before giving full review, as we have not yet received all our items, just to make a comment. We were kept well informed with original information before bed was delivered. Bed and mattress was delivered one date late - but not a problem. However, our mattress protector and 2 Hotel Collection fitted sheets were not delivered. I mentioned to delivery men but they thought it might be in packages. It wasn't,so I telephoned yourselves straight away. I was told they had been out of stock but were now being prepared to be delivered. I requested the four leg covering protectors for the bed to be added to the order which was still with you, if it was possible, and was told that someone would contact me for payment of the £7. That was on Thursday but no-one has called and no information by email has been received. Not a problem, but if someone could just let me know the up to date position for delivery etc. Many thanks. In the process of making the bed up but looking good. Will review for you when we complete. Appreciate your time.”
