“Material is absolutely brilliant,very good instructions easy to follow.Unfortunately 2 screw holes didn't line up ,therefore my husband needed to drill some extra holes.If that wouldn't have happened,I would have given 5 stars. The matress is very comfortable.I definitely will use this company again. Our son recommended this company ,as he a got a bed from them too. Excellent service and the delivery was excellent too.”

“Bed is brilliantly constructed, good quality materials. Instructions clear, extra screws included. Excellent and comfy bed. Downside was that I only found out at checkout that the advertised "white glove and assembly service" and even getting the bed and mattress into the right room ("white glove" only) is not available north of the border, or even in some parts of England. It was one of the reasons I went with Get Laid in the first place as that information was displayed in the "delivery" information and I would have happily paid for it, by the time we had decided on a bed committed to it, we then found out at checkout that we couldn't have the bed constructed for us. Since we don't have an electric screwdriver, the "35 min" for assembly were more like 3 hours, so bear that in mind. Still, we do like the bed a lot - just keep in mind that the delivery info might not apply to you!!”

“We absolutely love our bed. Beautiful wood and colour. A little disappointed that the drawer for underneath is as small as it is for the money paid and there isn’t two.”

“Really good quality bed and so far is very comfortable. However we found putting it together was super complicated and the instructions given were little help. The header was the most difficult part as the screw holes were not allocated correctly and there was little explanation”

“I cannot fault the bed or delivery, the bed is extremely comfortable and is great quality. The only reasoning for the 4 stars is the instructions were not that clear at times, especially surrounding the hydraulics, if they were more clear my rating would have been 5 out of 5 stars!”

“Very good service overall. I contacted the Customer Service as I wanted to provide parking instructions. They were polite and quick to respond both on the online chat and email. Delivery service was very good too, with their team carefully navigating through the flat to bring all the parts of the bed in the bedroom. Having said that, arranging for delivery might be problematic depending on where you live. GLB will require parking near the flat (within 100 meters if I remember correctly) and you need to pay for parking if needed (e.g. pay and display). Given the price of the bed and the fact that you have to pay extra even for standard delivery, I would expect the parking cost to be already covered.”

“I purchased a mattress. Communications with the company have been effective and instant from start to finish. It was delivered on the due day. The delivery company were great, contacted me the night before to give me a two hour slot and arrived in that slot despite appalling weather. Can't give a review for the mattress as I am waiting for the bed.”

“Get Laid Beds has overall been a pleasant experience to shop with. Their website is extremely good, and very informative (pictures, bed sizes, UI). The lead times were much shorter than expected even though we opted for a cheaper date, it took less than 3 weeks. The items came in good condition with no visible damage to the paint, and are clearly cut to a high degree of precision. I would recommend their beds 100%, however the underbed storage boxes had a few quality issues.”

“Delivery arrived on time as promised. Instructions to assemble was easy to follow and I only messed once but quickly rectified it. Bed feels sturdy and well built, and mattress feels comfortable. Second night, had a good night's sleep though wife complaining about my snoring!”

“Incredible quality and looks beautiful! The instruction manual could use a bit of proofreading though. Had to redo a handful of screws because the instructions said to use the black (round-headed) screws instead of the flat silver ones”

“Overall the service was great they delivered on time and the bed is good quality. Can't give 4 stars as some of the measurements stated on the site were unclear and caused confusion. Still I can recommend this company to anyone as everything else was perfect.”

“Easy order process and good delivery. Good solid bed , non squeaky. Did get a little bit confused with what was the headboard pieces. Maybe numbers on each piece might have been useful with corresponding diagram.”

“On the whole pleased with our purchase of the Low Tokyo Bed. It went together quite easily although using screws which does not make it possible to disassemble if it were moved, as other beds. The stained pine looked good considering it was stained pine. Value for money? Slightly overpriced I'd say, but on the whole we are pleased with the bed. One thing though, our delivery was at 8:20pm and the driver (on his own) had started out at 4.00am that morning and had three more drops to make before driving back to Leicester. Is this even legal? Perhaps not safe to himself and other road users on the drive home.”

“I like the bed but it’s a shame there is a gap at each end of the mattress meaning dust can get in in the storage space underneath (as it’s an ottoman). The delivery was over two hours later than the delivery slot which I guess happens but wasn’t acknowledged by the delivery team. The delivery team didn’t seem in good comms with the customer service team as they didn’t know they needed to set up the bed and that I had arranged parking for that which I’d told the head office. There was a slight damage to one of the planks but too much hassle to return.”

“The bed is great but the courier used (FedEx) were awful. They didn’t attempt delivery on my selected day but didn’t tell me they weren’t going to make it so I missed a day of work unnecessarily. They didn’t communicate that they were going to try and deliver the day after my chosen day or the day after that so I missed these two attempts. I received an email asking if I wanted to amend my delivery but when I tried the link it said this option was unavailable. In the end, I drove to the depot to collect the bed directly from there as I couldn’t get a clear answer about when a convenient delivery could be made. The majority of staff or virtual chats I spoke to at FedEx were very unhelpful. I tried contacting Get Laid Beds but unfortunately they were unable to help because the bed was with the courier already which is understandable. I would recommended Get Laid Beds for a bed but would advise you collect if you can or request a different courier so you don’t have to deal with FedEx. The box was damaged too but I don’t know if that was Get Laid Beds or FedEx and luckily it didn’t affect the product.”
