“Lovely bed, great quality delivered on time. It was quite hard to put together definitely need 2 people a mallet and a power drill. If you can go for the put together for you option!”

“The dog bed is really sturdy, and well built. If I had any quibble with it, it is that the instructions are not as clear as they could be. For example, the instructions fail to explain that two of the screws need to be screwed in before the front bar is put into place, otherwise its impossible to screw them in. Also the screw holes for the slats are too close to the end which makes using a power driver really hard to use, if like me you have physical difficulties that preclude using a hand driver. I really hope these comments are helpful because it really is a great product.”

“Very pleased with the bed and four drawers. Easy to assemble and looks great. We did not receive our bed on our chosen day. No notification of why. I had to chase. I did get emails back quickly when I asked questions and then was sent a message with our incorrect phone number and email that they said they had passed to the delivery company! Hence we received our bed two days later, rather inconvenient as we had to reorganise our time to be at home. Hence only four stars.”

“I absolutely love the quality & look of my new bed - The Deco - it's beautiful. My only caution would be to ensure you pay for the service to have your bed assembled, as I struggled to put it together myself. The instructions and joinery were perfect, but screwing into the hardwood, even with pre-drilled holes and an electric screwdriver, was very difficult. That said, I couldn't be happier with the final product.”

“Very nice bed, bit difficult with the screws to get into place and slightly squeaky when put together. Also expected a support beam under the bed for extra sturdiness for a standard double . Overall happy with this bed.”

“I am very pleased with the bed. However, “some assembly” was not accurate. Far too many pieces to construct - I would not have been able to do this without my son-in-law who found it difficult despite having the skills.”

“We bought three beds. Two king sized and one double Ottoman in oak. They beds themselves are fantastic as are the 2000 pocket matresses and the bedding and pillows. The only reason this isn't five stars is the packaging. The packages marked double bed actually contained a king, so we built it in the weong room and then had to take it apart and rebuild it. The parts for the double bed were in fact scattered through the double and king sized packages. But other than that confusion, very happy indeed.”

“Overall I'm quite pleased with the product (London Bed), however there's room for improvement: I'd add some screws to pull together the structure in the joints regions. It's not the easiest thing to get a flawless assembly on a bedroom carpet.”

“A most gorgeous bed! I am really impressed with the standard and quality of this company and their product. I love the ethos of the company and would highly recommend it to anyone. There is one thing I would improve, as the full delivery and assembly wasn't an option for my postcode, is a far easier set of instructions. It took a few goes and quite a few hours to fathom which pieces and screws went where. With the gas-hinged arms seeming not to move- a note for anyone -not to panic and put the mattress on the top right at the end-the weight presses the piston arms down! However, once it was all put together, what a brilliant ottoman storage bed indeed, easy to open with more room underneath than I thought. Would definitely shop with Get Laid Beds again! Thanks Cat”

“The instructions were not clear at all, especially when saying which parts were already assembled and which was not. The wooden pieces were not labelled great nor were any directions given so you knew to lay things the right way, the wood is solid as expected however soft with "pre drilled holes" not correctly aligned meaning you needed to make your own. I wish there was more information online regarding this particular bed, for example that there was no base to it so clothes cannot be directly payed under the bed as it it, and also that if you choose to go for no headboard, you will not get the holes/screws to add any headboards you may already have. The screws were not clearly labelled so trying to figure out 30mm from 35 mm and 50mm from 60mm and so on was a pain to say the least! If I ordered from here again it seems you would have to pay for them to assemble it yourself unless you have another bed to sleep on in the meantime but then didn't feel like the difference in cost would be worth it! I did get a delivery slot with live tracked timer on the day of delivery so didn't receive the call from them, I also didn't get them to bring it into the house so no shoe coverings were needed either but overall the company have been alright, just the way things were not made clear was annoying!”

“While the bed looks great and is very comfortable building it was not easy. Several of the joints needed cleaning with a chisel to get them to fit properly and there were not enough screws of one size and too many of the other meaning I had to search my own supplies to complete construction. While not a huge issues it did mean that the job took far longer than it should.”

“Ok so the beds are great. I’d add though that there needs to be a central support underneath to help distribute the weight of the occupants. Would I say they are worth the money? To be honest no but they did have mostly what we wanted by way of stylising and wood. We paid for the white glove installation. It makes it out to be a lot more of a premium service than it actually is. It’s simple things. White glove would denote real care to leave the area as was found. There was a lot of detritus left which wasn’t great. Maybe a revisiting of how Get Laid Beds describes this service would be more pertinent. Another simple thing.a made mattress was left out. The matress wasn’t put on the bed. Now if you’vegot a limited mobility this could be a real swine to deal with, and yeah I have limited mobility. Now there was no way they could know but a simple thing like a little customer service would have gone a long way. Would I recommend Get Laid Beds? Yeah for sure, the beds looks fantastic and there’s no way I could have built it so really it was all good.”

Good Afternoon, Thank you for leaving an honest review. We are very sorry that our White Glove Assembly Service fell short of all expectations. The team are required to clean up after themselves and place any mattresses purchased from us onto the frame for you. Due to hygiene reasons they are advised not to place used mattresses on the frame, however they are provided with protective gloves they can use and if asked to do so they can place mattresses on the frame at their own discretion if they are happy/able to do so.
