“I needed a small, low double bed to fit in a space where a pulldown bed had been. The Low Loft (Space Spaver) Platform Bed fitted the bill very well, fitting into the pre-existing space perfectly, both in terms of length, width, and height (now I don't bang my head on the shelves when I sit up!). Assembly was pretty straightforward, and, with a Pocket 1000 Mattress from Get Laid Beds as well, it's proving very comfortable, and looks pretty trendy too. I've only had it a week, so it's early days, but it looks and feels good, and has an 11-year guarantee, which I hope I won't need recourse to. The customer service team were friendly and patient, so, so far, I'm very happy with it.”

“I am happy with my bed. There was an issue with delivery as it was damaged in transport so only half the bed arrived but customer service did everything they could to remedy the situation. 10 days later from original delivery date and I have my new bed. It was easy to put together by myself. It's sturdy and fits nicely in the space. Overall I would recommend people to buy from get laid because the quality is decent and customer service can be relied upon. Thanks for everything.”

“We ordered the oak platform bed and are very happy with it. Service was quick and delivery smooth, even with covid restrictions. 4 stars instead of 5 as one plank was slightly damaged but it's not visible when the bed is up. The bed looked straightforward enough to put up but I didn't do it!! Pleased to order from the UK to avoid extra transportation, and liked the tree planting initiative we signed up to when ordering the bed.”

“Very pleased with bed frame: well made and delivered when promised. Like a couple of other reviewers, I found assembling the headboard tricky. It would have been really useful to have something in the instructions about positioning the headboard planks on the uprights. I ended up fixing mine about 5cm too low, so that the 30mm screws didn't hold and I had to replace them with a couple of the 35mm ones. I don't mind: it's nice and sturdy and doesn't make much difference to leaning-back-&-reading-in-bed height, but ... it took me ages. Many tea breaks. Another tip for the non-DIY-savvy elderly person like myself: provide yourself with a mallet covered by a soft cloth to wallop the side pieces & uprights together: they didn't exactly slide smoothly in. Ah, well, it'll be useful experience for next time ... no, there won't be a next time. Nice bed, did I say?”

“I bought the Japanese Storage bed and it looks and feels great. Delivery was fab, I was updated every step of the way and could track the delivery. The headboard arrived pre-assembled but we still struggled putting the bed together as the wedges didnt align with the holes already in the frame. I see a lot of feedback on how easy others found it to put the bed together so I'm not sure if this model is just a bit more difficult or if I was unfortunate in that the slots didnt align so am only able to give 4 stars as two of the wedges ended up splitting a bit when we used the electric screwdriver to assemble - its not visible but was a pain to put together.”

“Super happy with the service. Unfortunately the bed arrived missing 2 legs, but when I called about this, I got straight through to speak to a very friendly and helpful member of the team. Since it was going to leave me without a bed over Christmas, the company managed to fast track redelivery of the missing parts and now that it’s completed I’m really happy with look and comfort of the bed. Great service overall.”

“The floating bed option was a really great option for a narrow room where we wanted to accommodate a king size bed. The bed made the room work, where a heavy frame would have narrowed down the walking space too much. It would be great if there was a template to make it easier to lay out the slats, and the number of slats seems a light for some mattress types, e.g. latex mattress manufacturers recommend a minimum slat distance which is exceeded with the number of slats supplied. There was also a fair amount of detritus from machining that needed cleaning up/out to get the frame to fit snuggly together. I would have expected cleaner carpentry. Overall though, a positive experience.”

“Delivery excellent ahead of schedule. COVID security maintained with very polite and professional delivery people. On unpacking bed found one post to have slight dent and scratch but have been able to hide this. Holes wasn’t very well drilled out for screw fixings but very pleased with bed now put up and in use. Did take a bit longer than the 15 minutes often said by others due to this , even with using a battery operated screwdriver.”

“We're happy with the bed which came partly assembled due to Covid restrictions - we had requested in-home assembly, but this is no fault of the company. I noticed that two of the screws had been attached with smaller washers/caps than the others, and one of the fabric "flowers" in the dimples at the top of the mattress was missing. These two minor cosmetic points aside, it was simple to assemble and the mattress appears very comfortable, thank you.”

“Japanese Storage Bed with all the trimmings. Bed is great, very solid and comfortable. Arrived on schedule. Two things that stop a five star review - assembly instructions absolutely terrible. Unclear, not broken down enough, parts not shown in correct place, etc. Drill holes a bit rough and could also do with proper sanding before treating the wood.”

“Great looking bed, high standard of finish.....but the instructions to put it together were poor. They completely ignored very important steps and information and left a critical stage to guesswork, which in this instance resulted to damage of the bed and hours of frustration and that’s somebody who has years of construction knowledge”

“I absolutely love love love my new bed! A few small let downs tho. I really wanted this assembled, but they don’t assemble where we live on the West coast of Scotland. In saying that the delivery itself was spot on. The delivery chap even helped hubby a bit by helping in with the boxes. Even tho he wasn’t supposed to due to the Covid rules. Just a helping hand over the building doorstep. We appreciated that. Delivery updates were great. All well packed too. It took hubby a few hours to assemble but we got there in the end. The most difficult part was understanding that a space saver bed sits atop the frame NOT inside the frame as usual. Once we got that, it only took half an hour. But as I said , if we could have paid for assembly we would have. The bed itself is sturdy and just wonderful to look at and use. I opted for two drawers underneath, the wee bed side shelf which looks so modern and a lovely touch. I keep popping in the room to see it again and again, it makes me smile!”

“The bed and mattress look fantastic and really suits the look out daughter wanted in her bedroom. Great quality as well as good value. Just a shame they weren’t able to put it together because of COVID but instructions were pretty clear.”

“We loved that you could choose each aspect of the bed, made it really easy to find one that was right for our bedroom! The choice of delivery slots, with cheaper ones still weeks earlier than most bed companies was great. Instructions for assembly weren’t great, and it squeaked a bit at first. However, the team were great at giving advice when we emailed about it.”
