“The overall choice and service are very good but we were disappointed with the method of construction of our floating bed and the instructions to build it. The components are of good quality but the construction relies on screws alone so the finished article is prone to creak and apparently move. The instructions are oversimplified and there is an error in what screws to use where.”

“We got our lovely bed delivered and assembled in half an hour! The two men were polite, efficient and helpful as well! The bed seems really sturdy and well made and we were pleased to learn that Get Laid Beds gives us an 11 year guarantee! Our first two nights were great - many more years like this hopefully 😊”

“Service was good, the website works well to browse and choose a bed, and I had no issues with the bed arriving or the quality of the bed. However, they could do some more work on the assembly instructions as they weren't detailed enough”

“Professional delivery and all the bits were there. The instructions for assembly are not quite up to Ikea standard but we got there in the end! I am very happy with the bed. :)”

“Well made bed frame. Delivery & assembly excellent. I had asked for the height & was given 23.5cm. But that is the length of the leg. The actual height is to the topside of the slats, 16.5cm. We had to purchase a 3” top-up mattress to give our preferred overall bed height. So take that into account if you buy the low platform bed.”

“I was expecting part built but was from scratch, the amount of pieces you get feels a little scary. Quick service from GLB from order to delivery. On the phone very helpful when you have questions. Delivery of the piece was ok but not amazing and not very helpful, they seemed rushed and did not explain anything at all. Product instructions could be a little easier for people to understand. Over all good service, and great produce end result”

“All round very good service from the website usability, simplicity of the ordering process, update status, delivery and finally instructions which were easier enough to follow. The product itself is fine the bed itself looks decent and sturdy following assembly the quality of the wood could be debated but you get what you pay for. Overall happy customer and based on my experience would recommend.”

“I'm pleased with my new bed. Ottoman has lots of storage and good to be able to customise it to my requirements. It took a while to assemble so I'd pay for assembly in the future. The pistons I received did not work, possibly because my mattress was too light. The company was helpful (with customer service helpline available until 8pm on a Friday) and sent out alternative pistons which I received within a few days. Instructions for Ottoman beds could be clearer - we had conflicting advice on which way to fit the pistons from the instructions and technical support team. Overall a good experience.”

“Really pleased with my platform storage bed in white. Easy to order, delivered promptly on the agreed date and fantastic quality. My only small complaint is that it was difficult to assemble with just a screwdriver, and the positioning of the slats could have been marked out on the base.. it took a bit of time to measure out where they needed to be fixed on. However now it's done it looks great!”

“I needed a small, low double bed to fit in a space where a pulldown bed had been. The Low Loft (Space Spaver) Platform Bed fitted the bill very well, fitting into the pre-existing space perfectly, both in terms of length, width, and height (now I don't bang my head on the shelves when I sit up!). Assembly was pretty straightforward, and, with a Pocket 1000 Mattress from Get Laid Beds as well, it's proving very comfortable, and looks pretty trendy too. I've only had it a week, so it's early days, but it looks and feels good, and has an 11-year guarantee, which I hope I won't need recourse to. The customer service team were friendly and patient, so, so far, I'm very happy with it.”

“I am happy with my bed. There was an issue with delivery as it was damaged in transport so only half the bed arrived but customer service did everything they could to remedy the situation. 10 days later from original delivery date and I have my new bed. It was easy to put together by myself. It's sturdy and fits nicely in the space. Overall I would recommend people to buy from get laid because the quality is decent and customer service can be relied upon. Thanks for everything.”

“We ordered the oak platform bed and are very happy with it. Service was quick and delivery smooth, even with covid restrictions. 4 stars instead of 5 as one plank was slightly damaged but it's not visible when the bed is up. The bed looked straightforward enough to put up but I didn't do it!! Pleased to order from the UK to avoid extra transportation, and liked the tree planting initiative we signed up to when ordering the bed.”
