Went to buy a bike for my grandson yesterday and the lady said that she was the only one that could sell a bike but hadn’t got time to sort one out told me to come back in a week when they’ve got more time so we got in the car and went to Decathalon in Telford picked a bike they checked it over very nice gentleman in Decathalon his name was Henry would highly recommend if you want to Bike go to Decathalon

Ordered a awning with a membership card, order did not arrive, went to my account and the item had been cancelled, no email to tell me this had been cancelled but still charged for card, so i reordered an other produce on the 3 August, heard nothing till the 16 August, looked at tracking from Evri, still at depot, contacted Go outdoors, said parcel had been lost, without telling me and before I could ask for refund they had resent new order, that means I will not receive until 23 August at the earliest if I do receive at all, twenty days plus to receive items is a disgrace terrible company to deal with

made a order ,said the dreaded avri was delivering 2 -6 days, no email nothing ,emailed said it was on way give it up to 6 days still nothing on tracking from avri, emailed again said it was lost in transit , load of ruvbbish never even left them , so they have send another same email saying theyb sent it again to dreaded avri , so here we go again fornight plus of being nothing on traced and and same emails from go outdoors , really bad company , discgrace only worse than this is a dodgy scamming china companys , and they seem not willing to correct it .

Go Outdoors automatically added a Member's card to my order when I bought a tent and took the £5 for the card. But then it cancelled the tent (gave no reason) for which it gave me a refund but didn't cancel the Member's card. I don't need anything else so that's £5 wasted. Feel I've been conned.

Order on 10 August then decided to cancel once I realised goods would take 4-6 days delivery. Called to cancel told to wait 24 hours then call back. Did this yet received email informing me my goods had been dispatched. Called back 2 times told a cancellation was requested. 14 August returning from camping good state delivered in email. Spoke to then while travelling told I'm sorry we cannot guarantee cancellation. Sometimes sorry is just not enough. All I wanted was to cancel the order before it was dispatched and received a refund. Now I'm gonna end up waiting god knows how long for a process I was told was completed on Thursday 11 August. CUSTOMER service is poor o don't appreciate being lied too or trying to keep my money and making my life difficult. I would never ever recommend this company.

Don't use the online order service, goods if arrive at all are broken and it is difficult to get a satisfactory response from the customer service. The CS appear to skim read email, assume they know what they have responded and missed the point completely. Then when reporting a partial delivery I am expected to do the chasing and form filling for the replacement. Shop in store would be my advice.

After been given the run around for 2… After been given the run around for 2 days Been sent into the shop twice by customer services Still no goods And been told by manager that it was my fault going to the store as I shouldn't listen to the customer care team I have now cancelled my order and will not shop there again

Orders some items for click and collect next day as it said online they were in stock. The items were sun hats and a dinghy for my kids to take away on holiday. I waited 3 days for the text to confirm I could collect and heard nothing so decided to call the store to find out if they had received the items from another store. Turns out the man on cycles who I spoke to over the phone said that the system had cancelled my order but forgot to notify me??? Poor lad did his best to run round the store to find the items I wanted but they weren't in stock. He was apologetic but there should be better systems in place to stop this from happening as I couldn't get the items I wanted delivered in time for our holiday and would not have been notified unless I had called them. Sad thing is that this has happened to me previously but I thought they should have changed systems since the last time I ordered from here but seems not. I wouldnt recommend ordering online, just go to store if you can and see what's available there.

What can I say, plenty of promises made by pleasant staff but the goods have never been delivered. I now have to wait 3-5 working days for my refund when it took them approximately 8 minutes to cancel my order.

Berghaus tent bought at go outdoors ripped after second use. Problem not resolved and complaint not escalated as requested.

Dreadful delivery service, always late and customer service feel it's more important to fob customers off and defend evri the courier service they use. If you're planning a trip do not order from these unless you give yourself at least a month for delivery and have plenty of time to chase up your order.

Having read the comments on this site, I think I shall just NOT BOTHER with the follow up after my Trust Pilot review received a message from GoOutdoors asking me to contact their online reviews team. I’ve gone around in so many circles I’m giddy, going absolutely nowhere. Just in case GoOutdoors comes across this review…… the code they supplied is TP 1924. Although I was talked into taking a loyalty card at £5 I shall not be going back.

Today me and the wife went to the store at the wyvern derby for some tent pegs advertised at £3.She then spotted a dress which she tried on and liked at £30. Got to the till and told its £66 as they have 2 prices. Believe this to be illegal practice at the very least totally immoral Not be going back in a rush for sure

I joined Go Outdoors Members on 11th June 2022. A week later I was sent via post a 15% off my next purchase online or in store I have today logged into my account to place an order that came to £124.97. At check out I entered my card details but at no point did it offer me the opportunity to add the discount code details. The email confirmation received almost immediately included a new Member card at £5.00 bringing the total to £129.97, when the order should have come to £106.22 including discount. I immediately contacted "customer services" via telephone. I was advised by "Aaron" that I would have to wait until the order had been received before any actions could be taken. He advised that this may be by Saturday if I'm lucky! When I requested the order be cancelled and a full refund made immediately I was told this could not happen. Whilst on the phone I received a text and email to say my new member card has been dispatched! Totally incredulous!! This service is almost fraudulent, at the least morally and ethically corrupt.! Looking at the reviews online regarding customer services I am hoping I am not being added to one of the many that are still waiting to hear back in a courteous fashion.

Still waiting for air shelter gazebo that has been ordered 3 times due to “lost in transit” with Evri/(previously Hermes), waiting near 4 weeks, don’t think I’ll ever get it as third one is “lost in transit” and price has increased from £249 to £375 so don’t think I’ll ever get it now ☹️ So disappointed. Customer service says I can’t pick up from store, so they keep ordering, even though item is not getting delivered. Gonna seek legal advice

Website utterley useless, as is trying to find out if an item is in a local store. Been to store twice looking for item, decided to order online for delivery, wanted to charge me membership when I already have it. Filled all my details in, address, etc, missed one small item, wanted me to start all over again. Gone on line to Amazon, ordered in seconds!

I ordered 6 dry bags, out of which 2 had a broken top band on them. I emailed customer service and they said take them back to a store. My nearest store is 67 miles away, I asked if I could post them to someone, was told no. I explained why, was told that they can't examine the bags at the warehouse, I explained that I was a long way from the nearest shop. They asked for pictures, I sent them pictures, they said they would contact me within 5 days. 8 days later I rang them, I was told I had to send them to a store. I went through the whole thing again and was told that the pictures hadn't been looked at. After more than half an hour on the phone, I was told that they would be collected, we set a date and I was told I would be sent an email telling me what to do. No email, no collection and now 2 days after the collection day. I've been told by friends of similar experiences. Go Outdoors customer service is utterly useless. I will never buy anything from them again. I wouldn't give them any stars but that isn't an option
