Since 19.07. Until now I didn’t get any answers from this company. More than 28 days and no one has 2 minutes time to answer me!!!!!!! I don’t know what kind of service they provided!!!!! I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by this company. As a customer, I have never encountered such incompetence and lack of assistance as I did during my recent experience with this company. On Thursday, 11th July, at 11:40 pm, I contacted the number provided at Sabiha Gökçen Airport for assistance as the car I had rented was no longer functioning. Despite being assured that someone would call me back promptly, I was left on hold for over 10 minutes before the call was abruptly disconnected due to a language barrier. Subsequent attempts to reach your office at the airport were unsuccessful, with staff directing me to communicate via WhatsApp. After sending photos and my location, I received no response. After enduring 90 minutes stranded on the highway with children in the car, I eventually had to abandon the vehicle and arrange for a taxi to take us home. The following day, despite making over 15 calls and being given multiple phone numbers to contact, I was met with unhelpful responses. Even when visiting your branch in Beylikdüzü in need of a replacement car, I was told that it was not their problem and that they could only book a new car for me. Only after threatening to leave the country did your team attempt to send a towing service to retrieve the car. However, the language barrier persisted as the personnel sent spoke only Turkish, leaving me stranded without a vehicle. The subsequent confusion and delays resulted in over 14 hours of inconvenience and frustration.

Charged 573.40 euro for 1 flat tire on small Fiat Panda I so wanted to give this company 5 stars as some aspects of the rental was great. 1. Booking online was easy and quick to do. Saying that is you want to make changes to your booking (like add an extra day which we wanted to do) we were told to cancel the existing booking and then make another booking. 2. Online check in was OK but the system was not very user friendly and uploading documents could be tricky. 3. Upon arrival at Fiumicino we were surprised to hear that the hire company was not actually on site as advertised but a 5 minute drive away. It us only after we returned our car that we were informed of a free shuttle. 4. Staff at Fiumicino are super friendly, reliable and efficient and can't fault them at all. 5. We paid 440 euro for 10 day hire car including premium insurance with maximum excess of 200 euros which we thought was a very reasonable price. It is only once we ran into problems (flat tire) that we were told this was NOT included under the insurance. 6. Now the bit that has caused upset. We got a flat tire on our last day on our way back to return the car. This happened literally 2 miles from venue so we changed it to the spare wheel and returned the car. We were told someone would ring us with the charge for the wheel as it was not included in the comprehensive insurance we opted for. No contact was made but I noticed and extra 281 euros taken from my account on top of the 200 euro deposit held. When I queried this I was sent an invoice 12 days after returning the car. It was only a small Fiat Panda but we got charged 573.40 euro for the one flat tire. Not only were we charged for the flat tire but it is also apparently customary to fully replaced the spare tire (which we used for less than 2 miles!) as well at the same price as a normal tire. I find this charge completely unacceptable and we were not told this at any point during our checkout or return. We were specifically told the charge would be for the flat tire only. Another thought is the environmental impact of discarding a perfect, hardly used spare tire? Surely as a company this must be quite a regular thing to happen so we could be taking about 100s of tires. Now of course if they were situated at the airport (as advertised) and not off site this would never have happened but that is a whole other can of worms!

We booked an RAV4/SUV for our trip because we have a big family. When we arrived at Green Motion, we were told that there was no RAV4 or SUV available so we were given an old Nissan Sentra that could hardly fit our bags. We were then told to call the office in the morning to see if we could get a discount since we did not get the vehicle we paid for but the manager said he could not discount the rental car because the price was already discounted. bad business. The other thing, no-one answers the phone, We called and called and when we finally got someone, the phone got cut off in the middle of the conversation. Next, when we arrived at the Orlando International Airport, we waited 1 hour and 18 minutes before the Shuttle came to pick us up. No apologies. While we were at the airport we saw the other rental car company shuttle make several trips but only once for this company. My kids almost passed out in the hot sun. Customer service at the front desk was horrible. The lady would not allow us to speak and it was as if she had a "take it or leave it" attitude. I would not recommend them to anyone. Shop elsewhere. Never again. This is the Green Motion in Orlando.

I do not recommend this company they are scammers, and they don't value the customer, i only rent from them once in Bulgaria, and they give me their worst possible car they had, with the ridiculous excuse that it was a "complimentary upgrade" from the actual car i rent in their website, but in reality after 30 minutes of delay from their employers, the car i receive was with thousands of problems and quite dirty inside, and when i complain about it and ask for refund, they refuse and they pretended like their car was perfect and it has no issues. So guys please stay away from that company!

DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THESE SCAMMERS. First of all they charged us more than the excess for a collision. After investigating and sending dozens of emails one person sent us the invoice for the repair of the vehicle and it turned out that we had been overcharged by 400 pounds. After fighting with all the staff we managed to get a refund of this money. Now the company AXA with whom we contracted the insurance is asking for a report detailing why we were charged 2 times and then refunded a part of it so they can refund us the money charged. BUT GREEN MOTION DOES NOT RESPOND AND WHEN THEY DO RESPOND THEY SEND US INVOICES THAT ARE NO GOOD. We have reiterated that we need the report and it is impossible for this to happen. YOU ARE INCOMPETENT, THIS TREATMENT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

This is to notify you of potential issues when booking a car through the supplier “greenmotion”. After reading online reviews, I learned that some customers have had bad experiences with this company. Despite these warnings, I assumed those issues were due to other factors and went ahead with my booking through the CarFlexi platform. CarFlexi sent a confirmation e-voucher, confirming my booking and charging my credit card. Given CarFlexi's reputation as a reliable and worldwide car rental platform, I trusted their service. Unfortunately, I must report that “greenotion's Bursa office in Turkey” failed to provide the reserved car, claiming their system did not approve the rental. They showed no concern for the inconvenience and consequences this caused me as a customer. This raises a significant question: on what basis did CarFlexi confirm my booking? Given that this is not the first incident, why does CarFlexi still have them on their platform! This is the first time I have encountered such an issue with a car rental company, and it completely disrupted my travel plans. Therefore, please be cautious if you are considering making a booking through car supplier!

Dear Green Motion I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding my recent car hire experience at Zagreb Airport, Croatia. On Saturday 27th July 2024 I booked a Renault Clio or similar vehicle. However, the car I was allocated was completely unacceptable. The vehicle provided was old, dirty, and had 120,000 miles on the clock. Furthermore, the engine warning light was constantly on, and the car frequently lost power and struggled to accelerate. This car was not only substandard but also dangerous to drive. When I raised my concerns with the staff, I was informed that I could upgrade to a better car for an additional £20 per day. I firmly believe that I was given this unsuitable car to coerce me into paying for an upgrade. When I complained, I was simply told, "it's an old car," and the staff member shrugged his shoulders and walked away, which I found both dismissive and unprofessional. Your website offers pictures of all brand-new vehicles indicating that you have a newer fleet of cars, however despite these cars being available on the car forecourt I was offered a car that was circa 10 years old, full of dents, scratches and scrapes, the interior of the car was extremely warn most notable with all the air vents broken preventing the air conditioning from reaching the passengers, it was simply the worst hire car I’ve every been given in over 20 years of driving abroad. Additionally, I was charged an extra £60 for taking the car into neighbouring Slovenia. This charge was not outlined in your terms and conditions, and I believe it was unjustly added to increase costs. When I rented a car from Enterprise last year, there were no extra charges for driving into other countries, making this additional fee seem arbitrary and unfair. I also want to highlight the inconvenience caused by your office’s location. The car hire office is not at the airport, requiring a bus transfer to reach the compound. This setup leaves customers with no practical option to return to the airport and seek alternative car hire services, effectively holding them captive on your site. Given the dangerous condition of the vehicle, the poor customer service, and the undisclosed extra charges, I am requesting a full refund for the rental cost, including the £60 charge for driving into Slovenia. I also expect measures to be taken to ensure no future customers experience such issues and that the vehicle in question is removed from future customers due to its safety.

Estafadores!

Absolutely scammed as soon as you walk through the door. Hungry for money, dedicated to confusing you and ignorant of anything else but to take full advantage of you particularly if you have children or elderly relatives with you and you have no option but to take the damaged vehicle with all the added penalties they apply even before you drive a vehicle! They are absolutely horrible and they get away with it. I don't understand why the government or the police are allowing these rip off merchants take our money and do whatever they want with it. They don't even provide a service! Avoid this dump. Any Green Motion branch is fully corrupt just walk the other way and find a reputable car hire that cares about you and your experience. Green Motion are rotten to the core riddled with deceit, greed and inconsistent customer care at every opportunity. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves Green Motion.

Rented a car in Rome. Rental lot is offsite so had to call their van driver to pick us up. Our flight home was early on a Sunday morning. No one there with a shuttle to take us back to airport. No one there at all. Left the keys in key drop and used a taxi.

NEVER RENT ANY CAR FROM THEM!!!! They doesn't deserve a single star!! We rented a car in Tivat with the highest possible insurance with the promise that we would not have to pay anything in case of damage. Unfortunately, someone scratched our car in the parking lot and they took 2300 euros from our card. We haven't seen justice yet, THEY ARE SIMPLY SCAMS!!

The worse experience I've ever had with a car company! My own car had broken down, and so needed to hire one for a couple weekends. The first weekend, I hired a four door economy and when I went to pick up, I was told my car was not available. Instead, I was offered a smaller weak Fiat 500. I was in a hurry, and so I accepted it. The following weekend, I also rented a four door economy, except this time I called the day before to make sure it would be available to avoid any delays. I was told that it would be available. When I went to pick up, it wasn't available and again was offer a smaller weak Fiat 500 which I refused and expressed my frustration given I was given assurance the day before when I had called to confirm. The manager began making excuses which I did not have time for nor were they relevant to me. I asked for a refund so that I could go somewhere else as the exchange got escalated. Ruin my morning, wasted my time and money!

So, to explain this most bizarre and unfortunate incident, I rented a car through Expedia in Edinburgh, Scotland, with a company called Green Motion to take my elderly mother on her bucket list dream trip to the UK where her ancestors are from. I had never heard of Green Motion, but they had a good price (should have been a red flag, I guess). I looked at a few reviews on Expedia, and they looked okay. No place is 100% positive. I went to pick up the vehicle, and the location was well off the airport, which I thought was strange. It’s a trailer in a parking lot, and I got in line to speak to an agent while my disabled, elderly mother waited in the freezing waiting room trailer. I was at the counter for over 45 minutes while the guy continued to badger me about upgrading to their package. I kept saying no, I just want what I already paid for and my credit card has insurance. He continued to give me attitude and veiled threats and make it ultra confusing to get the car. He wouldn’t stop trying to find ways to get me to pay more (I have later found out they get commissions for upsells) and was slowing the process trying to get me to change my mind. Then he said I have to give a 5000 pound deposit because I did not purchase their insurance despite having my own, and there is no way around it. I finally reluctantly agreed as I wanted to get out of there as we had been there so long, and my mother, who has heart problems, I thought might have an anxiety attack from how crazy the whole process was and I have never had any issues with rental cars previously. Also, I had already paid for the rental, and there were no other places to get a car nearby, though now I wish I had just walked away. Then he tells me I have to sit and wait for the car to be ready, though my check-in time was an hour ago at this point. Another hour goes by, and my mother is really stressed out and has to go to the bathroom, and there is no one nearby. I tried to get his attention several times, but he was with other customers and completely ignored me. I finally was able to get another staff member to help and she said she would find out what’s going on. Another 20 minutes pass, and she finally says a car is ready. She walks me to the car and again threatens me that I will have to purchase the car if something goes wrong? These people are crazy. She said to take photos of anything I see wrong with the car so I did my best to look it over from various angles. I saw 2 minor things and photographed them, and she said I had to email them, so I did. Moving forward, I had the car for 10 days without a single issue, no damage, etc. I had dug deeper online about this company after the bizarre pickup and unfortunately found a large number of complaints and issues with fraud and scams. They were apparently even on the news a few times because of this. I read about several instances where, upon drop off, the person who checks the vehicle in goes directly to some obscure spot that would be impossible to see or notice upon pickup and claim damage. Of course, by now, I’m very much regretting not digging deeper into this company before renting. I go to return the vehicle with much apprehension from the difficulty picking it up and from what I have read. It was almost unreal how he did exactly what other people said he did, going directly to an invisible spot on the roof and saying there was damage. I asked him to show me as nothing could be seen. He got out a special paper to reflect the tiny indentation and photographed it. With the paper there, you can see a tiny dent that otherwise is impossible to see. I took photos myself, and nothing can be seen. I said there is no way that happened while I had the car. There were no incidents, and I was never parked under a tree or anything like that. It almost seemed like a dent they would have put there. He refused to believe me and said I had to pay to fix it. They would not let me leave until I signed something, though I tried repeatedly to refuse, and they said they would contact me with an estimate. I wish I had forcibly walked away from this madness, but I had my elderly mother with me, who is also getting dementia, and she was getting confused, upset, anxious, and worked up, so I felt I had no choice but to do so to get her out of there. Now, my anxiety is through the roof, and I was trying not to freak out for my mother’s sake and not to let the trip get ruined as we still had another week to go in Ireland. I kept watching for an email from them and never received anything; then suddenly, a few days later, I see the charge for $6366.08 (the exchange rate for 5000 pounds I guess) I tried to email, but no response. I can’t make an international call on my phone. They charged me without even contacting me (they said they would) for a supposed invisible little dent for that large amount of money. This place is so unbelievable and should not be allowed to operate with as much fraudulent activity as they apparently have. I don’t know what to do now
